Chen Nuo used a piece of rope to tie up the Gray Cat, binding it tightly, and carried it in his hand—much like someone carrying a few pounds of pork back from the market.
He returned to the residence across from his and walked directly into his room after opening the door.
Little Candy saw Chen Nuo return with a cat in his hand, bundled up like a rice dumpling. She froze in surprise for a moment, then watched as Chen Nuo kicked open the bedroom door and walked in.
Before entering, he glanced back at Little Candy. "Time to 'eat' soon, I presume?"
"Yeah, I've been anxious! Why weren't you back sooner? The Teacher will be eating soon, and I'm scared I can't handle it alone without you."
"Alright. You take the child for a stroll downstairs. I'll handle this."
With that, Chen Nuo waved his hand and slammed the door shut with a BANG.
