Jun'Tal repeated several of the names quietly, especially the ones that sounded more dangerous than the rest, before looking back toward Emma. "And you think I can turn the energy I create into all of those?"
"In theory, yes, but that doesn't mean you'll be able to do it immediately," Emma said. "Since your power naturally falls into kinetic energy, and you already understand how that can produce heat, we'll start from there and slowly force it into other forms."
Jun'Tal considered that for a moment. "Which one are we starting with?"
"Sound."
He blinked. "How am I supposed to turn energy into sound?"
Emma lifted one hand, and a moment later, a deafening boom suddenly tore across the island.
Jun'Tal flinched hard enough that his shoulders jumped, while the sound rolled through the nearby forest and sent several birds flying away from the trees. Even after the noise faded, he continued staring at Emma with wide eyes.
She lowered her hand calmly. "Like that."
