"Welcome to TechNix Worldwide Expo. Where we strive to make better future." A hologram of the hero, Technix, said. Suddenly, laser fire blasts through the hologram while thousands of people scream and run for their lives. Behind them, TechNix Bots ran out of the Expo, attacking everything and everyone they seen.
"Go my Hunters, Destroy all traces of mankind. Leave none… ALIVE." The main Hunter AI said, flying over the city.
On an Island at the center of the world, Nex HQ,
A woman rushes to Sydney, who was having lunch with her long-lost sister, Aurora Widow, and her niece and nephew, Aj and Cj.
"Ma'am, we ha… have a bi… big problem!" the woman said, breathing hard.
"Woah, take a second. And a breath. Then, tell me this problem." Sydney said.
Following her instructions, the woman took a deep breath. "Okay, the rogue Hunter AI have taken over the TechNix Bots in the TechNix Worldwide Expo and is currently attacking humans everywhere."
"Call everyone! No matter what they're doing. This is priority one. PRIORITY ONE!" Sydney said.
"Ma'am!" the woman said as she walked away.
"Syd, What's wrong?"
"Oh, normal stuff. An evil, human-hating Ai acquired hundreds if not millions of high-tech robot bodies and is trying to start a Human-Extermination War." Sydney answered, sarcastically.
"Oh, you do that too." Aurora said.
"Do what?"
"Hide fear behind sarcasm." Aurora answered.
"Grandma! Have you heard? It's happening. The end of the world as we know it." Joan said as she and Erica appeared.
"I know, but don't worry. We have everything under control. I was just about to make a call to Avery and the others. That future won't come true."
"Uh, sis. Who's this?" Aurora asked.
"Oh right, you all haven't met my family yet. Uh, these are two of my grandkids, Erica and Joan." Sydney said.
"Grandkids! At your age! Why?"
"Well, these two came from the future to stop their aunt, Avery, and their father, Dante, from fighting. Yeah, my family is weird." Sydney said, noticing her Aurora's and her children's faces.
"What! No… So who's this Avery you're talking about?"
"You know… the world's stronge…
"THAT AVERY!" Aj and Cj said, excitedly.
"Uh, something tells me they know who you're talking about." Aurora said.
"Of Course, Mom! Avery is the best superhero in the entire world. She fought all kinds of monsters and demons."
"And she looks perfect. Like a goddess." CJ said, pulling up a picture of Avery on his phone.
"Uh okay," Sydney said.
"I didn't know they had pictures of Avery like that." Joan thought.
"Did she pose for that picture?" Erica thought.
"So, Avery is your daughter, what's she like?" Aj asked trying to take attention from her brother's creepiness.
"Stubborn, Selfless, Strong, Caring. I just wish I had a better relationship with her." Sydney said.
"What?" Aurora, Aj, and Cj thought.
"Oh, sorry. I didn't mean to bring the mood. Anyway, let me call Avery now. Erica… Joan, go to Tower and see if you can get in touch with Alpha 6. Maybe someone can help us." Sydney said as she pulled out her phone. She pressed her contacts and seen her daughter's name. Pressing it, she takes a hopeful breath.
"What… is it… Mom? Kinda… busy?" Avery said, breathing heavily.
"Uh, you're not doing what I think yo…
"Ew, gross. Don't be ridiculous… I wouldn't do that. I'm fighting a powerful monster." Avery said, embarrassed. "Besides, Megra is headed back there. So I woul… wait, why am I telling you this? What do you want?" Avery said.
"Aw, so cute." Dante said, quietly.
"Shut up!" Avery whispered.
"Who that? No, never mind, I don't want to know. We need your help. Remember the Hunter AI. It has returned and taken over the robots at TechNix' company Expo." Sydney said.
"What!? I thought I destroyed the servers that housed that AI." Avery said.
"That's why the previous director sealed the Hunters program in a specially designed and coded server. No matter what they did, it wouldn't die. And now that program has an army of new bodies with memories of powers from the superheroes it scanned and killed. And unfortunately, we don't have the help of the super hacker, MegaByte."
"Megabyte? Wasn't that the supervillain that threatened to shut down the entire world?" Avery said as she pushes against the monster. "Dante, a little help." She asked telepathically.
"Do you think I'm not helping?" Dante said, pushing against the monster.
"Ahem," Avery said, reaching out her hand for Dante's.
"Oh, right." Dante said, stretching out his hand for Avery's.
"Seriously, I feel like you depend on resonance too much." Robyn said, squatting in between them.
"Mom! I'm gonna need to call you back. And don't worry… I'm sure Megra and the others are headed your way." Avery said hanging up the phone.
"Wait! Avery!" Sydney said.
"I take it she's busy." Aurora said.
"Unfortunately, we're on our own." Sydney answered.
Hoping to see their favorite hero, Aj and Cj looked down disappointed.
"Grandma, we have good news. Megra and the others are on their way to help. We just need to contain the threat." Erica said, appearing.
"Okay, let's g… wait, where's Joan?"
"She went ahead. We can catch up in a sec." Erica said as she grabbed onto Sydney. Suddenly, the both of them disappeared.
"Woah, she's fast." Aurora thought.
