Lei Ao walked towards the achievement hall. As he approached the centre of the camp, he noticed a simple building made of a type of wood he had never seen. It was pure white, making it stand out of the camp.
He approached the building, only for two guards to block the entrance.
"Halt! Only authorized personnel have access to the building", The guard, wearing a deep black chain mail armour with his face covered with a black helmet, bearing a cross-like pattern. Revealing his eyes and mouth.
Lei Ao stares at the guard and decides to back down. Now was not the time to rebel.
He walks away from the building. He was still too weak. He didn't know the full strength of the Everlasting sect, it was too dangerous to engage against them.
Passing the white building he noticed a smaller, more common-like building with a sign on top stating: Achievement Hall.
Lei Ao headed towards it.
As he walks up to the door, he notices the few people on the street looking at him.
Lei Ao ignores them and enters the building.
The inside of the building held a simple design, it was clean, furnished with wooden stools, tables and desks. In the middle of the desk could be seen a woman attending the desk.
The woman had a bob cut with brown luscious hair, wearing a green dress. It was of similar design to the dress of the 5 people he had just killed, but of a different colour.
As he enters the building the woman stares at him. It isn't common that people come to the achievements hall, especially in these parts.
Lei Ao walks towards the desk.
"Da Ge sent me here", he stares at the woman.
She opens up a draw to get out a parchment of paper, she flicks through the parchment looking for something.
"Lei Ao, born in the Niuje County, Likeng Village, age 18 years old. Achievements Listed: the sole survivor of the bait unit sent against the Dark Moon Empire.", She closed the parchment, looked at Lei Ao, then entered the backroom of the building through the door behind her.
Lei Ao waits for a few minutes before he hears the creaking sound of a door behind him. He turns around, curious at the person who just entered.
What greets him, to his surprise, is a small boy. He appeared to be 12 years old, he was wearing a green outfit, almost looking like a small scout or a small version of robin hood. The boy stares at Lei Ao.
For a while, the two people stare at each other, until the receptionist came back.
The receptionist arrived holding a small pouch on a tray. She looked at Lei Ao, "Lei Ao.", hearing his name, he walks towards the desk where he is handed the small pouch.
The receptionist looks at him and says, "Thank you for your help." Shen then looks away towards the boy.
Knowing he had no more business there, Lei Ao walks away, quickly making sure to check the contents of the pouch before leaving. To his surprise, there was 1 silver coin and 5 bronze coins laying inside it. (10 Bronze = 1 Silver, 10 Silver = 1 Gold etc...)
It could be said that a silver coin was the monthly earnings of a small family. Lei Ao was not expecting much from this, knowing their shitty nature he believed that he would be rewarded with a few bronze coins, not this much.
After looking at the contents, Lei Ao quickly pockets the small pouch before leaving, in case anyone had any weird ideas about it.
Leaving the building, Lei Ao noticed a few black-robed people walking by. Not thinking much of it, Lei Ao continues walking and headed towards the canteen, where he would get food, he was starving after not eating for a day.
The still air when he walked outside still giving Lei Ao bad premonitions. Ignoring this gloomy atmosphere, Lei Ao put his head down and continued walking, unaware of a few shadows following him.
