Chapter 26 - 26 magic 101 part 2/2

In sound magic class the teacher explained it like this:

"First of all Sound magic doesn't have a type of mana like fire mana, water, earth and more, it uses neutral mana.

The bast way for most to use basics of sound magic is to first make one simple continues noise like prolonging the pronunciation of the letter S and then creating a small ball of mana in your and and making it vibrate" the professor said making a small amount of mana appear in his hand (i am probably the only one who saw that since i have mana sense), thema4ana turned into a small ball that started vibrating and we could hear something that sounded like sizzling.

Now for the explanation of healing magic our professor said this after showing us how to transform mana into healing mana or positive mana and she also told us that healing magic shares some similarities with holy magic and that similarity is that both holy mana and healing mana have quite a lot of positive energy so if you are fighting a undead you can use healing magic to damage them.

"The simplest way of using healing magic is to put the healing mana on the persons wound and imagining the wounded area going back to what it looked like before but for something more serious at most it will stop bleeding to heal a serious wound you need to know biology of the creature you are trying to heal" the teacher idali explained.

Illusion magic explanation:

"Illusion magic can also be regarded as a subcategory of mind magic but the only thing illusion magic can do is projecting images and creating fake sounds only the target can hear (A.n: not true it's just that in this world illusion magic is not advanced enough to use illusions on a high enough level to use something like making a person feel pain)"

Shadow magic explanation:

"Shadow magic is quite special compared to regular elemental magic, in what way you ask? Well to start of you can get stronger results if you are in darkness and you get weaker results when in broad daylight.

Some uses of simple shadow magic include: having an area surrounded by thick shadows so no one can see light, if you have enough mana you can make the shadows tangible by hand and using it as a weapon"

Alchemy explanation:

"alchemy is the act of creating potions by mixing ingredients using your mana as a binder and an ingredient for the potion to make the effects of the potion stronger and for other ingredients combine together to bring out their special properties"

Enchanting explanation:

"Enchanting on a basic level is the act of infusing objects with mana while having a clear image of what you want the enchantment to do, of course if you infuse an item with ice mana while putting in a fire enchantment at best nothing will happen and at worst it will explode or do something unexpected"

(A.n: i have to say that in most of these explanations it is only the basics of basics)

When i was in each class i was observing everyone on how they acted and listened to their conversations to see who would bring the most benefits if i befriended them, i also took notes on who likes who and who dislikes who.

I did this mostly to know who i would get the most use out of and planned how i would go about making friends with them but first i would just get to know them in the next few weeks.

For the first week i mostly observed people while studying and after another 3 weeks i started making friends with them.

Across all the classes i found out that there are 4 people with talents but i only know the talent of one of them and it is that when he creates a potion he can either make it last 2 times as long or enhance its effects by 2 times, and i of course took a sample of their dna (a hair strand that fell from their heads) when no one was in class since in the future i am sure i will come across a game or something where i could duplicate their talent with the help of an ability, person or science.

And in those 3 weeks we were taught the basic spell components and how to create a magic circle and i found out that the spell is only strengthened by the circles around the spell components, we also got taught how to make our mana denser.

(Pic of how i imagine the magic circles look like {pic from google} also the symbols on the outer big circles are the parameters of the spell)

Over the 3 weeks i gained a three new jobs and leveled some other jobs.

[Job alchemist gained]

[Job enchanter gained]

[Job scholar gained]

[Skill fast learning gained]

[Some jobs have leveled up a few times giving you: + 6 will, +5 intelligence, +5 charisma]

When i was in the library i also searched on how to create a mana core and veins and my search was successful.

I decided to try and create them on the weekend.

I meditate and do as instructed in the book.

Slowly i guide all of my mana into the place where i want my mana core to be, it took a bit of deciding but i made the decision to start creating the mana core in my brain since i think that at some point my hp regeneration will be fast enough to heal me from being decapitated and i don't want to find out what will happen to the mana core when it gets separated from my body.

After a few minutes all of my mana in my body is gathered in my brain and i form it into a ball and sit on my bed for the next 20 hours while making the shell of the mana ball denser.

At the 20 hour mark i could feel that i no longer had to condense the shell of the ball and i didn't even need to concentrate on the mana to be in the shape of a ball and a new notification window popped up.

[You have created a mana core in your brain once tiering up you will gain a bonus reward/s if you keep your core stable]

After that i started creating my mana veins which had two ways of being made: way no.1 was used before you create a mana core and the other was used after you have a mana core.

So i start meditating again and focus on my core and i start to take out a miniscule strand of mana from my mana core and i extend it so it reaches into my skin and then i make it sit still while condensing it until i no longer have to use any of my concentration on keeping it in place like my mana core.

That one strand took about 10 seconds to make... This will take a long time but thankfully mana veins don't need to be as complex as regular human veins or it would take about 160000 kilometres of mana veins, but for mana veins you only need about 5 kilometres of mana veins to get the best result anything past that is just unnecessary.

So i sigh internally and start creating more tiny mana veins and make them branch out until there are a bunch of mana strands all over my head.

After that i start creating the main veins which are basically just a bigger version of the mana strands/veins.

I decided to make 10 main veins, two for my eyes, two for my arms, two for the legs, ears, one for the tongue and nose.

Why did i create main veins for the eyes, ears, tongue and ears? Well i have a feeling like it will be beneficial in the future.

[Skill regular intuition gained]

Well that notification just screams "you are right".

After the main veins were done i made a ton of sewing string sized mana veins that went and branched off all over my body and the inside of it too.

It took a ton of time and a lot of my mental energy but i was finnaly done making my mana veins and it was monday 4:30am and i want to sleep even though i could stay awake for the next 4 or more days quite easily sleep would be relaxing.

[You have created Mana veins, once tiering up you will gain a bonus reward/s]

[With mana veins you can temporarily increase your stats based on how much mana you use and how good your mana veins are. Current estimates for increasing stats are: +4 to str, per, agi, vit(won't increase max hp will only make your body harder to dmg) without destroying mana veins to increase temp. Stat gain increase mana veins quality]
