'Most of them are not ready to wield any weapon yet, first they need to have is flexible body as most them seems to prioritise strength more than flexibilities, its not going to be hard that to train them but some of them probably going need stretching exercise too as their leg and hands isn't even able completely any move properly due to tight muscles.'
Two hours later the school ending bell rang out, all the students looked at each other and at the marital hall with different expressions. They still don't want to leave this place as it's so much fun to spend time here compared to other classes. Grey Well looked at the faces of all the students who looked disappointed as they want to spend more time here but sadly he can't change the academy rules.
After two hours of practice with Mr. Grey, all the students laid down on the floor. They all look exhausted beyond came per. "Okay, students class ends today here, most of you seem to be exhausted and there's nothing to feel ashamed about. It's normal to be exhausted as you guys are still students not the soldiers and don't feel down about someone being better than you at something, everyone has their own strength, power and skills and working together we will find them here. So, don't be discouraged if you feel you will be left behind by everyone at this moment as your journey hasn't even started yet."
"You guys can take a rest for a while here after that you can go to your dorm room." After saying this Mr. Grey Maxwell left the hall through the backdoor of the stage, leaving them all in the combat hall to take rest.
"This one is the worst spearmanship exercise and practice I have done in my whole life, Diana. It feels like I'm going to die today from sheer exhaustion."
"Suzie, I can't believe that you still have energy inside your body to talk shit why can't you just shut up for a moment and let me take a rest for a while."
It wasn't just Diana and Suzie, but most of them felt their new combat professor intentionally made them tired by telling them to do muscle tearing after first showing them basic stance. First basic stances were normal and were not hard to execute but 30 minutes passed and the Professor began to demonstrate different hard movement techniques and none of them were able to complete the movement technique perfectly. They were all thinking that special ability classes must be having a good time and training teachers is better than theirs. The students from the special ability class have the same unlucky day as the martial arts class.
The only few handful of student were standing now after this tortures training Larisaa laid down on the floor like most of the students as she wasn't used to training like and her all the muscles feels sore, she's afraid the she won't be even able to lift fork tonight at dinner and same thought shared by most of the students. But despite half of the students lying on the floor some still stood up right on their feet, some of them look exhausted but they still have strength in body and few whom you can count on one hand are standing without a single drop of sweat rolling down on their forehead and Larissa is currently looking at one such individual.
Larissa looked at Luna standing in front of her, she still couldn't believe that Luna was still standing on her feet without feeling exhaustion but her eyes weren't filled with envy or jealousy instead her eyes shine determination as she won't fall down her knees next time continue to strive to be the best. She has been training every single day without missing one day for training and it seems that still not enough. She needs to work more hard to not be left behind by others, her hard work needs to reach heights that her fellow students have and climb beyond them.
While their classmates had different thoughts running on their mind, when people first time look at her in their class they didn't have much impression of her after being late on first day of their high school is bad. When one looks at her, she gives impression that she's not that much strong just flowerily sweet and naïve silly girl and she is one of the beautiful girl in their class but only ends there nothing much afterwards as she didn't stand much in compared to other students, but now that's changed everything she appeared to be one of the monster in eyes of their no…not just them but to all students in combat hall.
This made them solidify their misunderstanding about her origin being from the powerful martial arts family. After resting for a few more minutes, everyone started to get back on their feet from their resting spot and started to walk outside the combat hall.
"Everyone, please remain calm and go outside in the girls and boys queue without causing any chaos or fight." Grey Well said as he looked at the students slowly leaving the martial hall. One by one all of the 60+ students left the martial hall, he left the hall at last as it's about time that he and Federico had to welcome second year students now.
Outside Federico is standing with his hands behind his back looking over at the students walking back to their dormitory, "How was your first day at the academy? Unlike your soldiers in the army, these children are more chaotic and don't always follow the order. They will try and will find every possible way to break them cause they all in their rebellious time in youth."
"It was indeed chaotic and it seems some of them are going to be really trouble some to handle as they might accidentally kill themselves and some of them are really over-confident and egoist at such age." Grey Well said as he looked at his once comrade in arms, who left behind his past in the frontline to become professor here.
"As if you weren't the same as them, you were a completely narcissist asshole in this same academy in the past." Federico said with a nostalgic look on his face, both him and Grey start to laugh out loud as they remember their past life in Saint Lisanna as how troublesome and big a headache they were to the academy.
After existing the combat class they saw students from special ability class standing outside looking way more exhausted than them and some of them seem one or to seem to be injured too, special ability students didn't say anything to them, they just stood still with their head lowered as if their world has collapsed but they understood without even saying word that they have gone through hell of training and headed towards their own dorm rooms.
"Larissa, can you imagine that Mr. Grey actually praised me for my talent. I still can't believe this." Luna's face is full of smiles and happiness, as she spins and jumps in happiness.
"You already said this thousands of times and that's good but now think of something different cause you are saying the same thing again and again." Larissa with poker face without showing any emotions. She wasn't jealous or anything but she's getting annoyed as hell cause Luna keeps saying something over and over again.
"Larissa, how about we take a walk in the park, it isn't that far from here and we also have nothing to do at this moment." Luna said as she pointed in the direction of the park, it's just a few minutes walk from here with trees, grassland and a small lake. Larissa also wanted to explore all the places of the academy but right now she had planned to visit the Library.
"I wanted to go to the library Luna, I'm thinking about borrowing some books to read at the dormitory." Larissa politely rejects Luna's suggestion, she didn't mean to be rude but she rather not waste her time somewhere lots of students would be present at the moment and making noise. And the library is going to be a bit empty for a few days, it's better to take out books that others would later search for first even though she felt like her legs would give up walking after few steps but she isn't willing to let this chance go as no-one going to take books from library today.
"Ummm, that's too boring and nerdy Larissa. How about after we take the book we go to the park, you can read your books under tree shades. While I pluck beautiful flowers to make a tiara for us?" Luna looks at Larissa with puppy eyes to convince her. Larissa avoids her gaze as she walks forward but she knows Luna is still looking with cute puppy eyes at her.
"Nope, I'm too tired to do anything at the moment. How about we can go to the park in the evening as I clearly need to rest for a couple of hours."
"As you wish dear. We will do as you say." Luna said with a low spirited voice, Larissa couldn't help but wonder if she really came from some powerful family or clan as she doesn't have the will or energy like her to run around like her or she is just too weak to handle real training like this. But as she looks at Luna's face she doesn't want her to be sad. Maybe it's not that bad to relax at the park for a while.
Larissa drops her shoulder as she gives up on the idea of reading in the library. "Okay, but we are only going to spend at most 30 minutes or one hour, not more than that. After that, we went back to our dormitory."
"Yippee, you are the best Larissa. I'm never wrong about institutions and judgement." Luna said as she joyfully walked with her, the duo soon arrived at the library. Larissa looked around the library but it's already full of students reading books, writing down important notes and theories.
