A week later
A horrified hair raising scream rendl through the air.
"Aahhhh! Lector,don't! Nnnooooo! "
In a high-rise apartment, a beautiful woman dressed in provocative red lingerie scream in horror as she threw vases and various ornaments at a staggering tall man.
She stumbled as she tried to run, her knees weak as she looked at her boyfriend in fear and disbelief. When she woke up from her coma, her boyfriend who was asleep beside her had unknowingly transformed into a monster. The once handsome magnetic man has now become an ugly walking corpse. His face abnormally white with his eyeballs protruding and grey.
His fit body now sag, full of festering, foul wounds that seep with green blood. His limbs are twisted uncomfortably as he tried to move towards the woman, mouth sporting thick, sharp fangs that tore his face apart.
"Roar! "
The zombie roared excitedly as he smelled a delicious scent. The woman's screams and her scent drove the zombie mad. He thirst for fresh flesh and blood.
Because of extreme fear and a clouded mind, plus the week long coma without food and water, she is feeling very weak. The woman stumbled on the sofa, making her unstable and crashing towards the coffee table. The harsh banging of her soft body resounded,knocking the breathe out of her. Before she would even drew a breath in, the zombie pounce on her, mouth wide apart.
"Arrrghhh! "
The woman uttered her last scream as the man she loved bite her throat, tearing it apart in one bite. Blood splashed. The only sound remaining in the once warm apartment is the gory chewing sound of a mindless zombie feasting on his prey,his once most beloved woman.
This scene is just one of the billions that happened one after another all around the world after all living beings awakened from the coma. Cries and curses of despair and fear enveloped the Earth.
Family, friends, lovers, spouses, acquintaces, and strangers that are beside them became unrecognizable, mindless, ugly corpse that wants to eat them.The animals also suffered the same fate.
The zombies staggered as they walk slowly, pouncing on any living beings that smelled delicious to them to eat them.
The streets,supermarkets,playgrounds,houses,and all establishments are already crowded by zombies and covered with blood, minced meat, bloody bones and clothes of the victims who had no chance of awakening and was directly eaten in their coma and those who are too weak and too afraid that have not managed to escape.
Sounds of alarms rang incessantly as fire broke out from unattended vehicles and machines as time resumed.
Planes crashed down one by one and killing millions. The world is in great upheaval .
The noises disturbed two sleeping people. The house is soundproof, but a little noise can still seep in due to how noisy it is with all those crashing and banging sounds.
Alban's eyebrows momentarily winkles then smoothen as he perceives his surroundings . From his experiences in his last life, he is confident that he will successfully survive and gain an ability. So he is not worried.What he is worried about was Lili.
He opened his eyes to look at the girl in his arms, his eyes laced with worries and at the same time anticipation .
The stone blocking his chest feel down at Lili's unchanged face. Although it is a bit pale, it can be seen that she did not turn onto a zombie.
He tightened his arms around her in joy and relief.
"Hmmm. "
Lili protested in her sleep as the arms around her hurts her, wrinkling her nose as she hummed.
Her own voice awakened Lili, her eyes filled with sleepy confusion as she beheld her a big brother's beautiful face. Waking up to a breathtaking face will make your mood good.
"Big brother, good morning ~"
Lili greeted as she yawned and stretch her body, moving her head back and forth in his chest as she tried to fully awaken herself.
*Rumble*
Both of their stomach made a noise signaling that it is empty and waiting to be feed.
Alban speechlessly sat up and wave his hand, handing Lili milk and a bun from his space to quickly fill her stomach.
Maybe because of hunger, Lili quickly grabbed the milk and bun and wolfed it down in second, choking. Alban wordlessly handed her water as he also gnawed hungrily on his bun.
"Lili, how do you feel? Do you feel anything strange? "
Lili wiped her mouth as she stared at her brother, her thoughts slowly converging and her expression becoming heavy as she remembered that today is suppose to be the day of apocalypse.
She let out a breath as she can see that her big brother is alright.
"Except for being a little week, I can't feel anything strange yet. Big brother, how about Mama and Papa? "
"I don't know yet, I only wake up seconds before you. Let's go and see. "
No sooner than Alban had said those words, a loud bang rang, and a second.
The two of them turned pale. Their heart tighten as their breath quicken. They are very familiar with the sounds just now. It is the sounds of gun shots. It came from their parents bedroom.
Alban and Lili scrambled out of the bed, fall in their haste as the quilt entangled their limbs. They hurriedly got up as they ran the short distance to their parents bedroom.
Alban twisted the doorknob, his face going ugly as he took in the whiff of blood.
Opening the door,Alban took in a harsh breath. His body shook as his eyes turned red. He turned around to quickly blocked Lili who is behind him ,but it is too late. Lili already saw the hearbreaking scene.
Lili's knees weakeaned as she slide down the ground, her eyes wide with grief as tears slide down silently in her pale face. Her shaking hands clasped her mouth.
Alban took her on his arms as tears also slipped out of his eyes.
On the Master's bedroom, on the wide bed, lay two people. These two people are already out of breath, covered in blood that soaked the bed sheets.
They are Felicia and Aldrich.
