Near the mountainous forests on the outskirts of Seattle, beside the tranquil waters of Lake Washington, a magnificent mansion stood hidden among the trees. The surrounding forest was unusually peaceful, with the gentle sound of water flowing in the distance and the evening breeze moving through the leaves. It was almost difficult to believe that such a quiet place belonged to one of the richest men in the world.
High above the forest, Jack was flying rapidly through the sky, holding Pepper securely in his arms. The wind rushed past them, causing Pepper's hair to flutter wildly behind her.
Pepper looked down at the enormous mansion below and immediately recognized it.
„Isn't this Bill Gates' mansion? Jack, why did you bring me here?"
Jack looked down at the mansion with a satisfied smile.
„Now this is your father's domain."
Pepper stared at him suspiciously.
„You didn't kill Bill Gates, did you?"
Considering everything Jack had done recently, Pepper couldn't completely rule out the possibility. This was the same man who had dared to kill the President of the United States without hesitation. If even the President could die at his hands, what chance did an ordinary billionaire have?
Jack shook his head.
„Of course not. How could I? I'm such a cultured and humanitarian person. How could I simply steal someone else's house and kill the owner? That would be completely dishonorable."
Pepper's expression became speechless.
„Then what did you do?"
Jack smiled proudly.
„I tied him up and threw him into the basement. Every day, I give him two meals."
Pepper was silent for several seconds.
„You really are a devil."
Jack only laughed.
Inside the mansion, the luxurious living room had already been completely occupied by Jack and his women.
One side of the enormous room contained a super-sized aquarium. Crystal-clear water filled the massive tank, and several kinds of aquatic creatures moved through it. Dolphins swam gracefully through the water while several sharks circled nearby. Even a gigantic whale shark had been placed inside, making the aquarium look more like a private underwater world than something belonging in a mansion.
The soft light from the aquarium reflected across the polished floor and expensive furniture, creating a strangely peaceful atmosphere.
On one of the enormous leather sofas, Alice, Ada, and White Queen were lying around leisurely.
Ada stretched her arms before sinking deeper into the sofa.
„A life like this really is corrupting."
She looked around at the luxurious surroundings and sighed.
„My fighting spirit is being worn down quickly."
Alice nodded.
„Indeed. If we keep living like this, we might eventually become too lazy to fight."
White Queen smiled while casually manipulating several holographic screens.
„This was Jack's plan. When we eventually leave this world, he intends to take this entire mansion with us and bring it into the Villain Space. I think his idea is actually quite good."
Ada nodded.
„Indeed. Su Yueming and the others will definitely like a place like this."
White Queen waved her hand.
A large holographic projection appeared in the middle of the room.
It displayed news reports from around the world. Several red notifications flashed across the screen, indicating breaking news.
White Queen raised an eyebrow.
„It seems Jack has done something extraordinary again."
Alice leaned forward slightly.
„Let's see."
Ada glanced at the headline.
„The President of the United States has died. That really caused a huge disturbance."
The projection switched to a female news reporter sitting behind a desk. Her expression was solemn, and her voice carried a mixture of sorrow and anger.
„Earlier this morning, the body of the President of the United States was discovered in the Caribbean Sea. After preliminary confirmation, authorities determined that the deceased was indeed the missing President."
The reporter lowered her head for a moment before continuing.
„The disappearance and death of the President represents a tremendous loss for the United States and, according to officials, for the entire world. People around the world are deeply saddened by this tragedy."
White Queen immediately snorted.
„The people of the world are saddened? What a joke. People in many countries are probably celebrating instead of grieving."
Alice smiled.
„She's a reporter. Naturally, she has to say something like that."
White Queen shrugged.
„I'm simply stating the truth."
The reporter continued.
„According to preliminary investigations conducted by the military, police, and Federal Bureau of Investigation, there is an extremely high possibility that the murderer is none other than the infamous Humankind's Public Enemy, Jack."
Her voice became increasingly emotional.
„Only someone as ruthless and dangerous as Jack could commit such an atrocious crime. As American citizens, we must unite against this threat. The people of the world cannot allow Jack to continue his crimes unchecked."
She took a deep breath before delivering her final statement.
„As a young journalist, I sincerely hope that people around the world can put aside their prejudices and hatred and unite against our greatest enemy, Humankind's Public Enemy, Jack! Only by defeating Jack can we restore peace to this world and allow humanity to once again look toward the stars and the vast universe!"
Alice laughed softly.
„That speech was certainly sensational."
White Queen's eyes flashed with amusement.
„She makes it sound as if the entire world is united against Jack. In reality, many of those leaders are probably terrified out of their minds. The higher someone climbs, the more afraid they become of death."
Ada nodded.
„That's probably true."
Suddenly, a series of green data streams flashed through White Queen's eyes.
Her expression became playful.
„Someone has returned."
Alice looked at her.
„Someone?"
White Queen smiled.
„And he brought a younger sister with him."
Alice immediately understood.
„Pepper?"
„Exactly."
Ada smiled.
„It seems Jack finally brought her back."
Alice looked toward the entrance.
„I really want to see her expression. She spent so much time hating Jack."
Outside the luxurious mansion, Jack landed gently while still holding Pepper in his arms.
Pepper looked toward the front door and immediately became nervous.
She hesitated.
„I don't want to go."
Jack looked at her with an evil smile.
„Why?"
Pepper glanced toward the door.
„I... I know those three will definitely ridicule me. I can't face them."
She immediately turned around.
„I'm leaving."
Jack caught her hand before she could take more than a step.
„Come here. They already know you're here. Where do you think you're going?"
Pepper struggled.
„Let me go!"
Jack pulled her closer.
„Besides, even an ugly wife has to meet her parents-in-law eventually."
Pepper's face instantly turned red.
„You're ugly!"
Jack laughed.
„Fine. Let's go."
„I don't want to! Let me go!"
Pepper struggled harder, but Jack simply held her firmly.
„Save your strength. It's useless."
Jack's smug expression made Pepper even more annoyed.
When they entered the living room, Alice, Ada, and White Queen immediately looked over.
All three stared at Jack carrying Pepper.
White Queen's lips curled into a mischievous smile.
„Yo, Zhu Bajie has brought back his wife."
Pepper's expression instantly darkened.
Alice smiled.
„How could Pepper possibly be Jack's wife? After all, she hates Jack. She probably wishes she could tear him into pieces."
Ada nodded seriously.
„Exactly. Therefore, what we're seeing must be an illusion."
She narrowed her eyes.
„Yes, definitely an illusion. There is no way Pepper would willingly let Jack carry her like that."
Pepper immediately shouted.
„Jack, put me down!"
Jack smiled.
„Good."
He lowered her onto the floor.
Pepper immediately turned toward the three women.
„Go ahead. Ridicule me as much as you want."
Alice shook her head.
„No, no. We weren't laughing at you."
Ada smiled.
„We actually think you're quite brave."
Pepper's expression became suspicious.
White Queen added innocently.
„You chose Jack."
„I did not choose him!"
Pepper immediately denied it.
„He kidnapped me and brought me here!"
White Queen smiled knowingly.
„You don't have to deny it. I remember there was once a woman who was kidnapped by a certain scum. She hated that scum and swore that she would make him pay a terrible price. She certainly wouldn't willingly stay beside that scum."
Pepper's face became redder.
White Queen continued.
„But now the scum is still living freely, while that woman seems to have forgotten the oath she once made."
„Stop talking!"
Pepper finally couldn't endure it anymore.
„I... I followed this scum because my brain must have stopped working! That's all!"
White Queen immediately smiled.
„So you admit it."
Pepper froze.
„I..."
White Queen walked closer.
„It would have been easier to admit it from the beginning. Why bother acting tsundere?"
Pepper glared at her.
„You bad girl."
White Queen placed a hand against her own cheek and smiled innocently.
„I'm obviously a very good girl."
„You..."
Before Pepper could continue, White Queen suddenly grabbed her hand.
Her playful expression disappeared.
„Your body has a slight problem."
Pepper's eyes widened.
„You know?"
White Queen smiled confidently.
„Nothing can hide the truth from my eyes."
Jack's expression also became serious.
„It's Extremis. But the virus is still unstable. If Pepper uses too much of its power or her body suffers excessive damage, the accumulated heat could eventually cause a thermal explosion."
White Queen nodded thoughtfully.
„I understand."
Green light flashed through her eyes as she carefully scanned Pepper's body.
„I can stabilize it and make sure it doesn't cause any side effects."
Pepper's eyes immediately brightened.
„You can really do that?"
„Naturally."
Pepper finally breathed a sigh of relief.
But White Queen's expression suddenly became sly.
„Although... you'll have to cooperate."
Pepper became cautious.
„What do you want me to do?"
White Queen stepped closer and looked Pepper directly in the eyes.
A mischievous smile appeared on her face.
„Are you a maiden?"
