Sorry for the delay over the last few days, guys.

White Queen smiled mischievously and looked at Pepper with a strange expression.
"Are you a maiden?"
Pepper immediately froze. For a moment, she wondered if she had heard the question correctly. She stared at White Queen in disbelief.
"Maiden? Will you… how can you ask me this?"
White Queen raised an eyebrow, completely unconcerned by Pepper's embarrassed expression.
"Do not manage so many things. You said that you are?"
Pepper took a deep breath. She already had a feeling that answering White Queen would only lead to another strange conversation, but she finally nodded.
"I am."
"Very good. I also looked."
White Queen's face showed a self-satisfied smile, as though she had just completed some important research.
Pepper stared at her.
"Looked? What do you want to do?"
White Queen waved one finger mysteriously.
"That is a secret that cannot be said. Hā hā hā."
Alice and Ada immediately covered their mouths, trying to suppress their laughter.
Alice shook her head with an amused expression.
"White Queen, you are becoming more and more evil. You actually wanted to determine whether a woman was a maiden just by looking at the way she walked?"
Ada also smiled.
"White Queen, you really are learning how to play with people."
Jack looked at White Queen with a wicked smile.
"White Queen, you really are becoming more and more troublesome."
Pepper placed a hand over her forehead.
"You bad children."
White Queen looked especially pleased with herself.
"The posture and the way you walk are slightly different from Alice and Ada. That is because both of them are no longer maidens. But you…"
She looked Pepper up and down before giving a satisfied nod.
"You really are quite different."
Pepper looked at White Queen speechlessly.
"You are only thirteen or fourteen years old."
White Queen immediately shook her head.
"No. You cannot judge a person only by appearance. My mental age is much greater. Moreover, I look at all of these things from the perspective of research. I do not care about them in the way you think."
Pepper stared at her for a moment before reaching her own conclusion.
"Following Jack has made you abnormal."
White Queen immediately smiled.
"Then you are also not normal. After all, you are here now."
Pepper gave a helpless smile.
"After arriving here, I never thought that I was normal anymore."
Alice and Ada exchanged amused glances.
White Queen's expression softened.
"You have this awareness, so that is very good. More importantly, you can rest assured about the Extremis in your body. I will definitely help you solve the problem completely. I will make sure you can possess its power without suffering from the overheating problem."
Pepper's expression became slightly serious.
She still remembered the terrifying sensation of Extremis spreading through her body. The heat had been almost unbearable, and the thought that her body could eventually reach the point of thermal explosion still frightened her.
She nodded sincerely.
"Thank you."
Pepper had already witnessed enough of White Queen's abilities to understand that her promise was not empty reassurance. Although White Queen looked young, her knowledge and calculations were far beyond those of an ordinary person.
White Queen waved her hand.
"You're welcome, you're welcome. From now on, you are one of us. If you were in trouble, wouldn't you help me too?"
Pepper looked at her for a moment before nodding.
"That's true."
Ada walked over with a smile.
"That's right, Pepper. From the first time I saw you, I knew that you could stand together with us."
Ada extended her hand toward Pepper.
Pepper was slightly stunned before reaching out and shaking it.
"Your feeling was very accurate."
Ada smiled.
"Then it's settled."
Jack, who had been sitting nearby and watching them, waved his hand.
"Sit down. Why are you still standing?"
Pepper glanced at him.
"Isn't it enough that I'm already here? You're ordering me around as if this were your family home."
Jack looked around the luxurious mansion and smiled.
"Isn't this my home? I even planned to carry this mansion away when I leave this world."
Pepper stared at him.
"How are you going to carry it away? It isn't a potted flower."
Jack smiled confidently.
"You don't need to worry about that."
Pepper looked at him for several seconds.
She seemed to have something else she wanted to say, but she hesitated.
Jack immediately noticed her expression.
"I know I'm very handsome, but if you keep looking at me like that, I'll become embarrassed. If you want to praise me, don't suppress it in your heart. Just say it bravely."
Pepper's expression immediately changed.
"Ghosts are more attractive than you. Who would want to praise you?"
Jack touched his nose.
"Fine. Whatever you want to say, just say it directly."
Pepper hesitated before finally speaking.
"That… you have such powerful abilities. Why must you use them to commit crimes?"
Her tone was much gentler than before.
"You obviously aren't that ambitious kind of person. Why don't you use your own power in the proper way? You could help other people instead of murdering them."
Alice, Ada, and White Queen suddenly smiled.
Their expressions were almost identical, as though Pepper had just told them an extremely amusing joke.
Pepper frowned.
"What are you smiling about?"
White Queen laughed.
"We're laughing because you're too naive. Why are you asking Jack to become a good person?"
Jack's expression became uncomfortable.
White Queen continued.
"Jack committing crimes is like a dog eating. Asking him to become a good person is probably harder than asking a dog to stop eating."
Jack immediately looked at her.
"Can you stop comparing me to a dog?"
White Queen waved her hand.
"Sorry, sorry. That was just a slip of the tongue."
She paused for a moment before adding with a completely serious expression,
"But Jack becoming a good person really is impossible. Asking him to become a good person is like asking a dog to change its natural habit of eating."
"I said don't compare me to a dog!"
Jack's voice rose slightly.
Alice and Ada both laughed.
Pepper looked at Jack seriously.
"I think you could become a good person, couldn't you?"
Jack stood up from the sofa. His expression slowly changed from amusement to arrogance.
"Pepper, everyone in the world already knows that I am Humankind's Public Enemy. I am an unmatched Super Archvillain."
He spread his hands.
"If I suddenly tried to become a good person, nobody would believe me."
His eyes carried a strange confidence.
"More importantly, making me become a good person is impossible. I will only carry the identity of a villain through to the end."
Pepper was silent.
She had already realized that convincing Jack to change was not going to be easy.
Alice shook her head.
"Pepper, you've lost heart. I never thought that my man could become such a huge evil person, but in the end…"
She sighed lightly.
"Here we are."
Ada, however, didn't seem particularly concerned.
"I don't really care. I used to be an agent. In an agent's eyes, there was only the mission. As long as the mission was completed, everything else was secondary. That doesn't necessarily make someone evil."
Pepper nodded slowly.
"Fine. I already said that he can easily kill the President of the United States. Expecting such a person to become a good person really is a dream."
White Queen smiled.
"The death of the President of the United States is no different from a magnitude-ten earthquake. I'm sure the leaders of many countries are terrified right now."
Jack shrugged.
"A president died. So what? There will be another one."
Pepper stared at him.
"Only you can say something like that so casually."
Jack leaned back with a proud expression.
"Because I'm powerful. Who can do anything to me?"
Pepper couldn't help rolling her eyes.
Jack suddenly seemed to remember something.
"Right, Jane, how is she now?"
Pepper immediately gave him a supercilious look.
"You still remember Jane?"
Jack looked surprised.
"Naturally. As a person who values relationships and righteousness, I always remember the people I should remember. For example, you, Pepper."
Pepper's expression immediately became disgusted.
"False. Disgusting."
She crossed her arms.
"Jane went to London to study. She has never forgotten you. I really don't understand what she sees in you. I don't know where you are good and where you're bad, but you deceived her too. Doesn't she have some problem with her intelligence?"
White Queen immediately smiled.
"Those words are quite funny coming from you, Pepper. Your intelligence quotient seems to have a problem too. Jack is such a terrible person, yet he still managed to snatch you."
Pepper immediately covered her ears.
"Don't say it. I don't listen. I don't listen."
Jack stood nearby with a smug expression.
"This is my charm."
He raised his chin proudly.
"Making a woman fall in love with you isn't much of a skill. Making a woman transfer her feelings from hatred to love—that is what I call being formidable."
Pepper lowered her hands and glared at him.
"An arrogant narcissist like you really is rare."
Jack ignored the insult.
"Jane has never forgotten me. She can definitely understand that an outstanding person like me is extremely rare."
Pepper snorted.
"An arrogant narcissist like you really isn't common."
Jack looked toward the ceiling.
For a brief moment, his expression became thoughtful.
It had indeed been a long time since he had seen Jane. Beneath all his shameless boasting and arrogant behavior, he still remembered the people who had once been important to him.
"I haven't seen Jane for a long time."
A faint smile appeared on his face.
"I miss her. Going to London would be good."
Pepper immediately became suspicious.
"You're planning something again, aren't you?"
Jack smiled innocently.
"Of course not. I just want to see an old friend."
White Queen looked at him with obvious disbelief.
"You never just do anything."
Jack ignored her.
"Besides, while going to London, I can conveniently go to Asgard again."
Alice raised an eyebrow.
"You're going to Asgard too?"
Jack nodded.
"Yes. It's been a long time."
Pepper sighed.
She had slowly learned one important thing about Jack.
Whenever Jack casually announced that he was going somewhere, it almost never meant that he intended to travel peacefully.
With Jack's personality, even an ordinary visit could easily turn into another major event capable of shaking the entire world.
Jack looked toward the others and smiled.
"Anyway, London is worth visiting."
White Queen crossed her arms.
"I suddenly feel sorry for London."
Pepper helplessly nodded.
"So do I."
