Jane was suddenly thrown backward by the powerful counter-shock.
"Ah!"
Her body flew several meters through the air before crashing onto the ground. She rolled across the cold ground and finally came to a stop, one hand immediately moving behind her head.
For a moment, she couldn't understand what had happened.
Her ears were ringing, her vision was slightly blurred, and a strange heat was spreading through her body. It felt as though every nerve had suddenly been electrified.
Jane slowly tried to sit up.
"I... How was I?"
Before anyone could approach her, a figure vanished from where he stood.
In the next instant, Jack appeared beside Jane.
He immediately reached down and supported her, preventing her from falling backward again.
"Jane."
Jack's normally playful expression had disappeared.
He carefully examined her face and body, his eyes scanning for any obvious injury.
"Jack... I... How am I?"
Jane's expression was extremely uncomfortable.
She could feel something inside her.
Something that wasn't supposed to be there.
Her heart was beating rapidly, but it wasn't only fear causing it. There was an unfamiliar energy moving through her body, almost as if something ancient had awakened inside her.
"You'll be all right."
Jack gently caressed Jane's hair.
His voice was calm, but his thoughts were already racing.
He knew this wasn't an ordinary accident.
The strange dark-red energy.
The abandoned factory.
The mysterious stones.
Everything was beginning to fit together.
But before Jack could say anything else, a police officer shouted from a distance.
"Stay away from her! She's extremely dangerous!"
Several police officers were pointing their weapons toward Jane.
They had witnessed the mysterious energy erupt from her body and had no idea what it was capable of.
Jack slowly turned his head toward them.
His eyes became slightly colder.
"On this world, is there anyone more dangerous than me?"
The atmosphere immediately changed.
The police officer froze.
"Wu... Jack..."
He unconsciously took several steps backward.
His face was filled with panic.
"Jack... It's Jack!"
The other officers finally recognized him.
Cold sweat appeared on their foreheads.
They had been worried about Jane a moment ago.
Now their attention had shifted completely.
They were looking at the man whom governments across the world considered their greatest threat.
One officer hurriedly grabbed his radio.
"Quick! Get through to the Prime Minister! Request that the Military Forces of Sea, Land, and Air be dispatched immediately! Jack... Jack is—"
His voice trembled.
Before he could finish, the radio slipped from his hand and crashed onto the ground.
Ian stood nearby, staring at Jack in disbelief.
He rubbed his eyes.
Then he rubbed them again.
"I... I haven't misread this, have I?"
He stared at the legendary figure standing beside Jane.
"Wu... Jack. Jack is actually here."
Jack glanced at the terrified police officers.
"Do you need to be this frightened? Your father only came here to look for Jane. I won't cause any destruction."
His words should have been reassuring.
Unfortunately, coming from Jack, they had almost the opposite effect.
Nobody dared move.
Jack looked down at Jane.
"Okay. Since you're all right, let's go."
He picked Jane up effortlessly.
Jane barely had time to react.
"Wait—"
Before she could finish speaking, Jack's figure disappeared.
The space where they had been standing was suddenly empty.
The police officers stared at the empty air.
For several seconds, nobody said anything.
Finally, one officer slowly wiped the sweat from his forehead.
"Wu... Jack disappeared."
Another officer looked at him nervously.
"What should we do?"
The senior officer took a deep breath.
"This matter isn't something young police officers like us can handle."
He looked toward the fallen radio.
"Report everything to the people above us. Let them decide what to do."
Ian immediately rushed toward Darcy.
"I saw Jack! I really saw Jack! I didn't misread him!"
Darcy gave him an irritated look.
"You didn't misread him."
She sighed.
"That was Wu Yang."
Ian swallowed.
His mind was struggling to process everything that had happened.
He had come here expecting to investigate a scientific anomaly.
Instead, he had seen Jane disappear, witnessed impossible energy, encountered Humankind's Public Enemy, and watched him casually carry Jane away.
And apparently, the day wasn't finished yet.
"Hōng lóng lóng!"
Thunder suddenly shook the sky.
The police officers looked upward.
Lightning flashed through the clouds, illuminating the dark sky.
A powerful presence descended from above.
A man carrying a massive hammer dropped from the clouds and landed nearby.
"Jack! Where is Jack?"
The man looked around.
"I sensed the Power of the God of Thunder here."
Ian stared at him with his mouth open.
"God of Thunder Thor..."
He swallowed.
"Am I dreaming today? I actually get to see all these great people."
Darcy looked up.
"Thor?"
Thor turned toward her.
"Darcy. You are here too."
"Yes. Long time no see."
Darcy walked toward him.
Thor immediately became serious.
"Darcy, did you see Jack? I sensed the Power of the God of Thunder here. Is he here?"
Darcy nodded.
"Yes. He came here and took Jane."
Thor's fist tightened.
"I came too late."
His expression became increasingly serious.
"That fellow has the Tesseract in his possession. If he intends to return to Asgard, he must have a way to get there."
Thor looked toward the sky.
"I must find Jack and take the Tesseract."
Darcy forced a hollow laugh.
"This may be a little difficult."
Thor glanced at her.
Darcy didn't elaborate.
There were some things that were simply difficult to explain.
If Jack truly didn't want to be found, even Thor might have trouble tracking him.
Thor raised his hammer.
"I'll go. I must find Jack."
His body immediately rose into the sky.
In the blink of an eye, Thor disappeared into the clouds.

Far above London, Jack was carrying Jane through the clouds at incredible speed.
The cold wind rushed past them.
Jane's hair fluttered wildly behind her as she looked down at the world beneath them.
The city lights were scattered across the darkness like countless stars.
For the first few moments, Jane was nervous.
She had never imagined that flying through the sky could feel like this.
There was no aircraft.
No glass window.
No seatbelt.
She was simply being carried by Jack through the clouds.
Slowly, her nervousness changed into curiosity.
Jane looked toward the clouds below.
"The feeling of flying is this?"
Jack smiled.
"Feels good?"
"Un."
Jane nodded.
There was obvious excitement in her eyes.
"But don't think this means I'll forgive you."
She immediately returned to her stubborn expression.
Jack chuckled.
"Fine. Whatever you want."
After flying for a while, Jack slowly descended.
Their figures flashed through the air before appearing beside a quiet lake on the outskirts of London.
The lake reflected the moonlight, while a cool breeze moved gently across the surface.
Jane looked around.
Then she looked back at the sky.
"We should fly again sometime."
Jack raised an eyebrow.
"Okay. Fly as much as you want. Don't be impatient, though. I'll fly you until you throw up."
Jane glared at him.
"You're really not romantic at all."
Jack shrugged.
"Right. I'm not interested."
Jane immediately looked at him.
"Then why do I like you?"
She paused.
"Because you're a super-big swindler who deceived my feelings!"
Jack smiled.
"But I'll take responsibility."
He pulled Jane closer.
"To obtain you, deceiving you wasn't anything serious. You're very lucky."
Jane pushed both hands against his chest.
"You're hugging me too tightly. I'm uncomfortable."
She struggled slightly.
"Am I lucky? Is this what you call luck?"
"Of course."
Jack smiled evilly.
"Other women don't get this opportunity."
Jane shook her head.
"I really am unlucky."
Her expression slowly became serious.
"But my body... What happened to me?"
She touched her chest.
"Why did that energy suddenly burst out?"
Jack's expression changed.
"What exactly did you experience?"
Jane nodded.
"Today, inside that abandoned factory, I was suddenly pulled into some kind of dark space."
She closed her eyes for a moment, trying to remember every detail.
"There were two stones floating there. Between them was a dark-red light."
Her brows furrowed.
"I looked closer and saw something like a dark-red liquid flowing between the stones."
Jane swallowed.
"Then that thing entered my body."
She looked at her hands.
"After that, I lost consciousness. When I woke up again, I was back inside the abandoned factory."
Jack nodded slowly.
"I knew it."
Everything was falling into place.
Jane's experience was almost identical to what he remembered from Thor: The Dark World.
The Aether Particle had chosen Jane.
The Reality Stone was now inside her body.
And somewhere in the darkness of space, the ancient Dark Elves would eventually awaken.
Jane looked at him.
"What did you know?"
Jack's expression became serious.
"The thing inside your body is an ancient and extremely powerful weapon."
Jane rolled her eyes.
"Nonsense. Tell me something useful."
Jack continued.
"Its name is the Aether Particle."
Jane's expression changed slightly.
"It is one of the six Infinity Stones."
"One of the six Infinity Stones?"
Jane stared at him.
Jack nodded.
"Most of the other Stones exist as hard, solid objects. The Aether is different. It has no fixed form."
He continued explaining.
"Under normal conditions, it exists as a dark-red fluid capable of moving through a host's body. It can also transform into a dark-red transparent solid."
Jane listened carefully.
"It cannot be destroyed?"
"That's right."
Jack explained what he knew about the Reality Stone and the enormous power contained within it.
By the time he finished, Jane was completely stunned.
"These Stones really have that much power?"
She looked down at herself.
"Then I'm really unlucky."
Her voice became quieter.
"The Aether Particle is inside my body."
She suddenly remembered what Jack had said.
"You said it can consume the vitality of its host, didn't you?"
Her face became pale.
"Then I'll definitely die."
Jack looked at her.
"You're treating me as if I won't do anything."
Jane glanced at him.
"What can you do?"
She frowned.
"You said the Aether can't be destroyed. If it's inside my body, can you pull it out?"
Jack shook his head.
"The Aether protects itself."
He placed a hand gently on Jane's shoulder.
"If someone attempts to remove it from your body, it will attack."
Jane looked at his hand.
"Even you?"
Jack smiled slightly.
"Even me."
Jane's expression became nervous.
"So what happens if you try?"
Jack's eyes narrowed.
"You'll see."
Bang!
A terrifying dark-red energy suddenly erupted from Jane's body.
The force exploded outward.
Jack was struck directly and blasted backward.
Jane's eyes widened.
"Jack!"
The dark-red energy continued swirling around her body.
The peaceful lakeside was instantly transformed.
The water rippled violently.
The trees bent under the invisible pressure.
Jane stared at her hands in horror.
She could feel the Aether moving inside her.
It wasn't simply power.
It felt alive.
And far away, beyond the Earth, something ancient had begun to awaken.
The Aether had found its host.
The Dark Elves would soon return.
And Jane Foster had unknowingly become the center of a conflict that would shake the entire universe.
