"Tch" - Cloud clicked his tongue as he watched the zombies rise again - "This brings back memories to the world of [Highschool of the Dead]..."
He had lost count of how many times he had killed these zombies, but it was getting boring, and he was even starting to feel heavy from all the mana he had been spending.
"I hope they manage to eliminate the one responsible soon, or I'll be in very serious trouble" - Cloud muttered as he thought about how ironic it was that the most annoying enemies he had faced in this world, were none other than the same enemies he faced on his first dimensional trip - "Life takes strange turns".
Cloud shook his head and refocused on the battle. though his expression changed as he watched the zombies seem to dissolve without him doing anything.
"I guess they finished with the creature" - Cloud nodded before stretching his body - "Well, at least it's over now..."
Cloud continued to stretch his body, though he still didn't let his guard down, after all, he didn't know if this was a bluff from the creature controlling the zombies, which might be watching him and waiting for him to be vulnerable to attack.
The blond waited a few more minutes before nodding and walking in the direction where the girls had gone.

"Was that necessary?" - Tio asked as she frowned.
"To get that thing over with quickly? Yes, it was necessary" - Yue replied as she folded her arms - "And I would do it again if I had to go back in time."
Tio frowned even more as she felt something start to grow inside her.
"T-Tranquila, Tio-san, you don't have to get angry" - Remia said as she tried to calm the dragon girl down.
"You could have died if things hadn't gone as Yue-san planned" - Tio muttered as she clicked her tongue, an attitude she hadn't shown in all the time they had traveled together.
"Tio-san is right, you need to apologize, Yue-san" - Kaori said as she gave the vampire girl an annoyed look.
"Wait, even though I know this wasn't the best choice, you have to admit that it was the right decision in order to end this creature and thus save Cloud" - interrupted Shizuku as she sided with Yue.
"Are you saying it was right to endanger Remia-san?" - Kaori asked as she looked at her best friend with a frown.
"No, but she wasn't in danger at any point" - Kaori replied while shaking her head - "The barrier was more than enough proof to confirm that"
"I understand that, but her not communicating her plan to us also means she doesn't trust us" - Tio said as the girls started to argue.
Remia bit her lip because she felt that again she had been the one to blame for creating this problem. A dark feeling started to grow inside her, as if it was a worm that was parasitizing her body and slowly sucking all the good in her life - "I'm sorry..."
"You're not the one who has to apologize, Remia-san" - Tio said while frowning - "They're the ones who have to."
"Why should I? I just fulfilled my part of the plan, you guys were fighting and I was in charge of making that thing come out so I could take it out" - Yue replied with annoyance - "So I recommend you not to try to annoy me, Tio"
"Or what, you're going to attack me?" - Tio asked with hostility.
The two strongest girls in the group began to release their mana, showing that they were not happy with the conversation.
"Wait, you don't need to fight" - said Kaori as she regained her sanity - "This is the maze's fault, it's amplifying our dark emotions!"
Yue and Tio stopped before clicking their tongues because they had to admit that Kaori was right. They were starting to lose their composure, and were extremely irritable, something Shizuku and Kaori were also experiencing.
"Wait a second" - Tio said as she looked at the Dagon woman - "Why isn't Remia-san showing hostility like us?"
"Because she's going through something worse, the negative emotion that the maze is amplifying is depression" - Shizuku replied as she looked at Remia who looked like she wanted to die - "And such seems to be a pretty serious case..."
The girls frowned as they tried to get Remia to react, though she seemed to be absorbed in her thoughts.
"What's going on?" - Cloud asked as he saw the group surround Remia, so he quickly ran over with a pale face because it was possible something had happened to her.
"Cloud!" - The girls exclaimed, and in the process making Remia react.
"What happened?" - Cloud asked with a frown as he noticed how the girls seemed to be thinking about something.
Yue frowned before explaining the situation, not leaving a detail behind.
Cloud remained silent, though his expression was constantly changing, though he quickly understood what had happened - "I see..."
"Cloud..." - Remia murmured tearfully - "I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry."
"Calm down" - sighed Cloud as he hugged the blue-haired woman - "You are strong, Remia, much more than you think, and I'm not talking about your power as a fighter, but to your power as a person."
"No, I am weak, I would have preferred to give up everything, but---" - Remia said with tears in her eyes.
"No, you are strong, and that's why you didn't abandon your life, because you knew that if you did, your daughter wouldn't have reached this age" - Cloud answered while caressing the woman's hair - "You are strong, and you have done a wonderful job, you just have to see Myu's smile and how much she loves you to prove it"
Remia burst into tears as she felt the darkness that had grown in her heart, slowly dissipate with each tear that ran down her cheeks.
Cloud stroked her back as he let her continue to sob, though that didn't mean he wasn't thinking about what had happened, so he shot a glance at the others to tell them they would talk when Remia calmed down.
* * * * *
Thirty minutes later, the group had set up a makeshift camp and a barrier around it to prevent attack from the monsters that could appear at any moment.
Remia was resting inside the tent after crying for another 20 minutes.
"Ok, it's time for us to talk" - Cloud said seriously - "I understand everything that happened, although I understand your intentions, Yue, I feel you did something cruel against your comrades, not only for not informing them about your plans in advance so they could prepare themselves in case things got out of control, but because there was a possibility that your plan would suffer inconveniences, and right now we would have a fallen comrade."
Yue ducked her head as she let out a sigh - "I'm sorry..."
"You don't have to apologize to me, but to Remia and the others" - Cloud replied while shaking his head - "Leaving that aside, there's a possibility that you made this decision thanks to the influence of the labyrinth and its amplification of negative emotions."
Tio and the others were thoughtful when they heard this, after all, Yue's actions were strange in and of themselves.
"Now let's go to the second topic, Tio..." - Cloud said while looking at the dragon girl - "I understand your concern and your actions, but I'm sorry to tell you that you were also influenced by the labyrinth, I guess it's for this reason that you ignored the possibility of talking, and jumped straight to violence..."
Tio ducked her head because now that she thought about it more calmly, she felt she had overreacted - "I'm sorry..."
"As I said with Yue, you don't have to apologize to me, but to the others, after all, it's possible that they would have been hurt during their fight" - Cloud replied as he stopped looking at the two strongest girls in the group and focused on the last two - "Now you guys".
"Sorry!" - Shizuku and Kaori exclaimed at the same time.
"Honestly, I have nothing more to say to you, you got the point, and although your intentions were good, the influence of the maze made your actions distorted, making you only add fuel to the fire in the process" - Cloud said while frowning - "What would have happened to Remia if you guys fought too? Were you guys so caught up in your confrontations that you didn't think about the safety of the only defenseless person at that moment?"
The girls ducked their heads, though they let out a sigh of relief when they saw Cloud give them a self-conscious look.
"Anyway, I want to apologize too, my decision to separate us wasn't the best at the time, I guess I also let the labyrinth influence me in some way" - said Cloud while shaking his head - "Leaving that aside, I'm happy that you are safe, and with this I guess we will now understand that we not only have to strengthen ourselves physically and magically, but also psychologically, after all, we don't know what kind of attacks we will receive from now on."
The girls nodded before apologizing again for their actions.
