An eerie silence pervaded the place as Cloud stepped out of the barrier and walked towards one of the mirrored walls.
Yue, Tio and Shea were right behind him, ready for whatever attacked them.
Cloud touched the wall, only to see claws reach out of it and try to pull him in.
Without a second thought, he stepped back and summoned his trusty spear before attacking, being followed by the sound of a roar of pain.
The group watched in surprise as a group of ice trolls came out one after another, being led by a huge troll that was holding his injured hand.
"I hate trolls, those creatures have such a stupidly high regeneration speed that it would seem they were created to be masochistic..." - Tio said as she clicked her tongue.
Cloud snapped his fingers and materialized underneath the trolls a group of ice spears that pierced through them without them being able to do anything about it - "Honestly, I expected better..."
"Cloud... I can hear something behind the ice..." - Shea said as her ears pricked up - "It feels like something is sleeping inside those walls, and I could only detect it when the trolls came out"
Cloud frowned before looking at Yue, who quickly shook his head.
"Anyway, we'd better get back to camp" - Cloud said as he shook his head.
"Are you guys done?" - Remia asked with a smile.
"Yeah, it wasn't much trouble," Cloud replied as he shrugged his shoulders.

Three hours had passed since the break the group had had, time they used so they could continue to traverse the icy corridors of the crystal labyrinth, at least until they came to an intersection that had a huge door with a slit in it.
"I guess we won't be able to get in unless we find whatever fits in that place," Cloud said as he clicked his tongue.
"It's kind of annoying that we haven't found it despite all the corridors we've been through" - nodded Yue as she started to think - "That means the object has to be in one of these two paths"
Yue pointed to the right and left.
"I think you should create more things to make our journey easier, Cloud-kun" - Kaori said as she folded her arms - "Maybe a kotatsu? " "
Traveling with so many privileges will only cause us to be unable to adapt in critical situations, such as times where we can't access inventory" - Tio replied while frowning - "That's why I find it's a good idea to have the minimum items to be able to camp, so we can get the rest of the same nature, besides, this is a good time to learn"
Kaori tried to say something else, though the words stuck in her throat because there was no argument she could use to refute these words.

Yue and Shea were about to say something, when they felt how Tio made them a call with his eyes to accept.

Cloud and his group was walking down the hallway to the right, while the others were walking to the left.
"Why did you call us?" - Yue asked with a frown.
"Because this is the best team organization we could have, Cloud is strong and Kaori can give support while Shizuku-san and Remia-san can train simply, as for us, we don't need this, we can simply finish the job without much trouble" - Tio answered seriously - "Not counting that something tells me that we will be the ones who will be attacked."
"Attacked?" - Shea repeated as she became alert.
"I don't mean physically, but rather psychologically, as it happened before Cloud returned to the group" - Tio answered seriously.
Yue and Shea's expression froze for a few seconds before they understood the reason why Tio had agreed so quickly.
"I see, we'd better settle it among ourselves" - Yue said while smiling slightly - "Three monsters fighting for supremacy..."
"I don't like the term monster, I prefer to be called.... far above average creature" - replied Tio while shaking his head - "Monster, what a demeaning term"
"Well, she's right, calling us monsters is horrible" - muttered Shea while shaking his head - "I mean, we are, but that doesn't mean we have to like the term"
"Leaving that aside, I wonder what kind of object it will be that fits inside that hole" - said Yue curiously - "Well, we'll find out shortly"

"This place is horrible" - said Shizuku with a frown as she wiped the sweat from her forehead.
Remia was breathing heavily as she was sweating profusely after taking on a group of ice trolls.
Kaori was business as usual, though a huge portion of her mana pool was being consumed at high speed .
"I hate trolls!" - Shizuku roared as she watched the wounds she had inflicted on her opponent, rapidly closing - "God, just die already!"
Cloud shook his head as he thought that maybe it was time to tell her that his katana had an option to reduce the regeneration of his opponents - "Shizuku..."
"I know, you don't have to tell me, I promise I'll get this over with quickly!" - Shizuku exclaimed as she again started attacking the ice monsters.
"No, what I'm trying to say, is that..." - Cloud said, only to be interrupted by the black-haired girl - ". . ."
"Shizuku-chan, I think you should accept Cloud's words" - said Remia while backing him up again with her gun.
"Ok, what do you want to tell me, Cloud?" - Shizuku asked as she gritted her teeth as she blocked the troll's blow.
"That your sword has the ability to reduce your opponents' regeneration if you slash with it and use your mana to increase its edge" - Cloud answered honestly.
"Huh?" - Shizuku was silent for a few seconds, only to let out a groan of pain as she felt the troll had sent her flying with his club - "Ugh"
"Thanks for covering for her, Kaori" - Cloud said as he shook his head.
"It's the least I can do for my best friend, though I feel like that wasn't the best time to mention Shizuku-chan's katana function" - Kaori replied as she rolled her eyes at him.
"Ugh..." - Shizuku muttered as she stood up and looked at Cloud with annoyance - "Why didn't you tell me before?"
"I swear I did tell you before" - Cloud replied simply.
Shizuku was silent as she tried to remember, and though after a few seconds she blushed because she remembered that she had, right at the moment he handed her to her.
"Putting that aside, look straight ahead" - Cloud said seriously.
Shizuku's pupils dilated when she saw the troll's ice club was next in front of her eyes, so she quickly grabbed her sword and used it to block the blow, though it caused her to bounce off the ice wall - "Ugh... that's what I get for losing my concentration..."
"Shizuku-chan!" - Kaori exclaimed in terror as she saw other ice trolls join the battle, though she let out a sigh of relief when she saw sharp ice pillars sticking out of the ground, proving that Cloud had intervened before things got out of hand, at which time Remia took the opportunity to finish off the monsters.
Shizuku again stood up, though this time her katana was glowing a deep crimson color, showing that it was covered in a thin layer of mana - "Okay, that hurt more than you can imagine, so it's time for me to return the favor..."
The troll roared fiercely as it prepared to strike the girl for the third time, although to her misfortune, Shizuku wasn't going to let it have the job so easily. She ran at the ice troll with her trusty katana in hand and used it to slash at the creature's arms, who let out a cry of pain, though this didn't stop it because she knew its regeneration was fast enough that this wouldn't affect it, however, monster quickly noticed something strange with its arms, which were still bleeding without stopping.
"I told you, it's time for me to return the favor" - Shizuku said with a sadism that was not typical of her - "I'm going to enjoy it like you can't imagine..."
