When they arrived, they noticed that the city was too… defended. Since they were isolated in this place, the girls had expected to encounter an open city without walls. Who knew that they would find a city even more armed than many of those they had seen outside?
Once they landed in front of the main door, the guards at the front became alert and raised their weapons. Their clothes were quite unique, all of them tight-fitting and somewhat colorful. Evelyn felt her Spirit Tailor senses tingle as she frowned. "Those clothes… ugh… How can they be so tacky! Colorful is okay, but must the colors be that contrasting? If they used the same color tones and also used threads with anti-reflective properties…"
She began muttering incessantly, listing several materials and changes as they came to mind. Yasenia blinked and looked at her with a curious and amused look. Since she had always worn clothes that Evelyn herself had woven, except for those few created by her skills, Yasenia never knew that Evelyn was so… peculiar with clothing.
With her tail patting her head to soothe her, Yasenia approached with the others and spoke. "We are here to enter the city."
The other side frowned, and the male guard spoke in an unknown language. "What nonsense are you spouting? Also, which City Core are you from?"
Yasenia blinked. 'Right. We have Angel's formation to understand their words, but they probably can't understand us.'
Rubbing her chin, Yasenia looked inside the city with her Spiritual Sense. Now that they were so close, she could avoid the anti-spying formation that had hurt her before with ease.
"Found it."
With a gentle flick of her hand, a man soared to the sky in the city. Then, with a gentle pull, that man crossed the sky while screaming in fear and landed in front of Yasenia. The guards raised their spears, but before they could act, Yasenia's group and the kidnapped man had disappeared.
A few kilometers away, inside a cave entrance hidden by formations, Yasenia sat in front of the terrified man with a faint smile. The man's eyes were full of terror, but his body was strangely filled with arousal. It was a very uncomfortable feeling!
"W-Who are you!? Where are we!? I-I am no one important! You've got the wrong man!"
Yasenia tilted her head, her beautiful black hair draping over her shoulders. Then, she spoke while gesturing. "Me. You. Communicate."
The man, hearing an unknown language, was shocked and looked at Yasenia's gestures. "You. Me. Teach."
Andrea asked, unable to contain her curiosity. "Um… Who is he?"
"A teacher," Yasenia answered. "He was in a classroom with many children, teaching about the words of the language."
"Ohh…!"
Meanwhile, the man managed to understand. However, his back was somewhat soaked in cold sweat. 'They want to learn an entire language? How can they not know the ONLY language that exists!?'
This place had been isolated for a long time, and all languages other than their own had long since disappeared. Therefore, not knowing how to speak was… absurd.
Still, looking around at the hundreds of beauties glancing his way, the man could only swallow any complaints he had. So, how high was Yasenia's ability to learn languages?
Yasenia, who had mastered dozens of languages by the age of 15, was basically an expert in this realm. Now, with her mind enhanced from her mortal days to an unquantifiable degree, it took no longer than four hours to master the language.
"I see. So, is this how you pronounce these syllables together?"
"T-That's right… No. Um. Where you pretending not to know?"
Yasenia chuckled. "Nothing like that. Here's a gift for teaching me and an apology for kidnapping you so suddenly."
Taking out a large vial of over 1 liter, Yasenia filled it with a transparent solution. Then, gently biting the tip of her finger, a single drop of blood fell and mixed with the transparent liquid.
"This is a vial with my diluted dragon blood. If you give one drop to a young cultivator with enough talent, it can act as a miraculous purifying medicine. I am a dragon, so I do recommend only giving these drops to direct descendants and pouring half into a large bath to create a much more diluted essence that can last for a few thousand years."
By the side, Evelyn spoke in a slightly choppy language. "Wow. You've gotten pretty lucky, old man. This bottle is probably one of, if not the most precious medicine in this entire place."
The man was stunned, looking back and forth between the container and Yasenia.
"Alright. Now that we know how to speak, let's go back."
After sending the man back, Yasenia used her own mastery to teach the girls. It took no more than one more hour for everyone to become perfectly proficient and as fluent as a native speaker.
Kali sighed. "To think I was the last one to learn everything."
Andrea smiled wryly. "You and I learned practically at the same time. Who knew that Cecile and Evelyn were so good at learning?"
Evelyn blinked and raised her eyebrows with a touch of anger. "What does that mean, Andrea? Is there a hidden meaning in your words that I should know about?"
Andrea coughed and smiled innocently. "Not at all, Evelyn. You have nothing to worry about."
Cecile spoke. "Yasenia's knowledge is my knowledge."
Because of their Soulmate connection, teaching Cecile was a matter of transmitting her thoughts. The rest of the girls glanced at her with a touch of healthy jealousy. "We also have Yasenia's Blood Essence coursing through our bodies. Why didn't you use that method with us?"
Yasenia hugged Angel and kissed her lips. "Becuase I like taking my time teaching all of you. Isn't Teacher Yasenia quite attractive?"
Angel's pout turned into a shy blush. "L-Later… let's do a teacher-student play…"
Yasenia laughed and bit Angel's lips. "Alright, you disobedient disciple. Later, I will punish you for being so unruly."
Angel rubbed her thighs together. Meanwhile, the rest of the girls looked back and forth, thinking something similar.
Looking outside, Tatyana asked with some curiosity. "So… what are you planning to do? We are now kidnappers."
Yasenia shrugged. "We'll explain ourselves. We didn't do anything wrong, and the person we kidnapped benefited massively, right?"
Tatyana answered with a shrug. "Up to you."
So, the group returned up front to the city wall, landing in front of the door. Thousands of soldiers surrounded them when they appeared. A man with a tight but darker fit stepped forward, looking back and forth. "Who are you? We've received a report that you kidnapped an individual from the city."
Yasenia smiled, releasing a hint of her charm. "Sorry, mister. We were confused as to where this was, and because the guards were uncooperative, we had no other choice but to take someone at random. After asking what we wanted, we made sure to compensate them. You can check on them yourself."
The stoic general felt his heartbeat quickened the more he listened, and by the end of her words, he coughed awkwardly and nodded. "I see. It was a misunderstanding."
Yasenia smiled apologetically, bowing down and causing her massive breasts to ripple like waves. "We are truly sorry."
The thousands of soldiers, whether male or female, were quite literally stunned at the sight. Yasenia, while the high-ranking man was staring blatantly at her chest, approached. Using a finger to raise his chin, Yasenia smiled sweetly. "Can we enter, mister? We want to find a place to rest soon."
"O-Of course! Follow me!"
The girls behind Yasenia couldn't help but laugh, dumbfounded. Kali linked arms with Yasenia and sighed. "Is this what you meant by being honest?"
Yasenia smiled seductively at her, her golden slit eyes languid and attractive. "I am being honest, aren't I, Honey?"
Kali felt her heart thump, her fox tails wagging behind her. "A-Ahem. I guess so."
So, with no more complications, they walked into the city. The place was quite interesting, but with nothing too unique. There were tall structures, pagodas, large fields for family clans, and streets full of goods. There was an entertainment district, and carriages moved without the need for beasts to pull them.
"Not quite a technological world, but it also can't be described as a habitual cultivation culture."
Tatayana commented. "What are you planning, Yasenia?"
Yasenia sighed. "I am a bit lost, to be honest. However, if I recall the words of that guard, he mentioned something like City Cores. That name is far too blatant not to have any meaning behind it. So, I plan to understand how many there are and the origin of the names. Also, we should visit one or two famous clans and see what they know about the Ceremonial Daggers."
Evelyn agreed. "The doors did close behind us after we entered. So, I guess that we need to solve something here to leave, right?"
Yasenia nodded with a sigh. "I just hope it is not too time-consuming. Should we create a temporary clan here?"
"How?"
"We steal it."
Andrea blinked, not expecting that answer to her question. "Why would we steal it?"
Yasenia smiled at her. "Well, there will always be people courting death. We can just settle our Dravory clan by stomping someone's clan that is full of filth. I refuse to believe that there is no such clan inside this city."
Andrea's expression relaxed as she nodded. "I see. That's not a bad idea. However, how do you plan to investigate? Did you use your Spiritual Sense?"
"No. There is no need for that. I just need to… release my normal charm."
So, she didn't enhance her charm, but she also didn't hide it. She used it at a level that it wouldn't kill mortals walking on the street, but at the same time, it could catch the attention of people with decent strength.
Decent being those at the Dantian Spiritualization Realm and above.
It took no longer than walking around the clans for two hours for a group of people to stop them. "Excuse me, miss. We've seen that you are wandering around the city. How about accompanying us? We promise that you'll have a good time."
Yasenia's golden slit eyes flashed. 'Fish caught~.'
Though things didn't go as planned.
"Han Chuan! Are you at it again?! Scram for me before I beat you up!"
The voice of a cold woman reached them, and looking sideways, Yaseia flashed a confused and slightly dissatisfied look. 'Who is scaring the fishes…? Oh. A cute girl.'
The voice was cold, but her looks were anything but. The short girl with a slender body was glaring adorably at the man. Of course, the fact that the wastrel who approached Yasenia showed a scared look showed that the petite woman's words were not for nothing.
Still, Yasenia's eyes gleamed as if she saw her prey, but in another manner. 'Cute girl… also works!'
Before the girl could speak, she saw a pair of massive, white, bouncy mountains in front of her. Startled, she looked up only to see the most beautiful face she had ever seen smiling at her. "Hello, cute girl. What's your name?"
Thankfully, Yasenia reined in her charm, or the girl might've lost all her blood through a nosebleed.
