Ten years ago, the siblings Aimon and Amelia led an expedition into the Verdant Woods to establish the village of Eldermill. The first few years were prosperous. The settlers farmed the land, hunted the abundant wildlife, and exported timber and iron to nearby cities. Though they occasionally clashed with hostile dark elves in the surrounding woods, those encounters were never enough to threaten the peaceful lives the settlers had built in Eldermill.
Ren knew the quest information would continue to update as he gathered clues from the townsfolk. Between Amelia's promised reward and the Mistwood Trading Company's payment, completing this single investigation could earn him a total of two hundred thousand gil.
