It didn't take long for Jake to write down the clauses of a contract of servitude. It was the same contract that Jake first offered to Minerva, except that it was limited to 10 years and not a lifetime.
"Sign it." Jake passed the quill to Pristina after doing his part.
"This…" The Pirate woman had not expected him to be so meticulous. As she read the terms of the contract, her face couldn't help but turn ugly.
This was even worse than slavery. After all, at least a slave had a chance to escape if they could break their collar.
However, once someone signed this contract, there was no breaking it unless the signers had significantly uneven strength.
Also, there were no loopholes on the contract. Holding the pen, Pristina's frown deepened. Seeing her impatience, Jake gestured at Fiona who slapped the girl she was holding.
