The light above was a low-wattage yellow bulb, which hadn't been turned on for a long time. The electric current was unstable, flickering on and off, adding to the scene's inexplicable horror movie vibe.
Everyone was bold and unafraid, but Julian Wolfe was the only one who seemed genuinely happy, like he was enjoying the scene. He looked around with great interest but understood the rules well enough not to touch anything. When he heard Miss Hans speak, he immediately walked over to her.
"What good stuff?" he asked, staring at the rust-covered door.
Upon closer inspection, there were knife marks on the door. This door was obviously installed later to isolate whatever was inside from the control room.
Miss Hans grinned at Julian Wolfe and pulled a small compass from her pocket. The needle on the compass spun incessantly, refusing to stop.
