"Also, I've unilaterally decided to be the godmother of the little one in your belly," Caroline said with a cheerful smile.
"I've heard," Charlotte Allison replied. Caroline's public declaration last night had brought considerable attention to her unborn child.
"Mr. Fernandez even teamed up with me last night. Why not let him be the godfather? Then, who would dare to mess with the little one's future?"
"No need, you're already troublesome enough," Charlotte said.
The forces behind Lucas Quinn, the father of the little one, were already strong enough. Adding Caroline as the godmother was like adding fuel to the fire.
She wasn't familiar with Hank Fernandez, so their relationship didn't extend that far.
Her calling it troublesome was just a way to tease Caroline.
"Charlotte, you know me well. I truly am trouble, big trouble."
Nobody wanted trouble, so nobody dared to provoke Caroline. To her, that was a compliment.
