Xylia's excitement filled the entire office.
Chelsea stared at her helplessly before pointing at Simon.
"You're really okay with this? What if he teaches me the wrong answers on purpose?"
Simon placed a hand over his chest dramatically.
"Chelsea, that hurts. Do I look like a bad person to you?"
"Yes," she answered instantly.
Aciel burst out laughing while Xylia covered her mouth, trying to hide her giggles.
Simon clicked his tongue.
"See? This is why I don't help people."
"But you'll still help her, right?" Xylia asked, looking at him expectantly.
Simon glanced at Aciel, silently asking for support, but his friend only smirked and leaned lazily against the table.
"You brought this upon yourself," Aciel said. "Now deal with it."
Simon let out an exaggerated sigh.
"Fine. I'll help her."
Chelsea's eyes widened.
"Really?"
"Don't look so touched," he muttered. "I'm only doing this because Xylia might cry if you fail again."
"I don't cry that much," Xylia protested softly.
