Katelyn and I sneaked into a large tent where The Family Sword must be. Everyone had their eyes locked on the cooking event, so we could sneak in very easily. Inside the tent were two curtains, ๐๐ฉ๐ช๐ด ๐ฎ๐ถ๐ด๐ต ๐ฃ๐ฆ ๐ช๐ต. I peaked carefully through the curtains and my eyes gleamed in satisfaction. ๐๐ต... ๐๐ต ๐ช๐ด ๐ต๐ฉ๐ฆ ๐ต๐ณ๐ฆ๐ข๐ด๐ถ๐ณ๐ฆ... ๐๐บ... ๐ฎ๐บ ๐ด๐ธ๐ฐ๐ณ๐ฅ. I wanted to point my hand to it, but I caught it with my other hand, ๐ฉ๐ฐ๐ญ๐ฅ ๐ช๐ต, ๐ธ๐ฆ ๐ฅ๐ฐ ๐ฏ๐ฐ๐ต ๐ธ๐ข๐ฏ๐ต ๐ต๐ฐ ๐จ๐ฆ๐ต ๐ค๐ข๐ถ๐จ๐ฉ๐ต. There were two knights in there, so I had to be careful.
I made a sign with my head to tell Katelyn that the sword laid in the other room and put on the sunglasses she gave me earlier. I could see a stain from Katelyn's finger. It annoyed me, but I tried to ignore it.
Katelyn nodded back. She pointed one arm before her and focused good. I light orb started to form above her hand. I looked at it until Katelyn nodded.
๐๐ฉ๐ข๐ต'๐ด ๐ต๐ฉ๐ฆ ๐ด๐ช๐จ๐ฏ! I felt the air magic swimming trough my blood. I watched it coming out of my hand and wrapped Katelyn's light orb with air. I had it well and carefully packed. To tight would make it explode already and to loose will steal my grip, that will lead to the same result. It was perfectly surrounded with my air and I took over it very carefully. I could feel the weight on the light orb drop at the moment it left Katelyn's hand. It was working, I could move the light orb freely. I made it fly between the curtains and at the moment "huh?" sounded, I stopped the air magic that made a good "flash!"
Two voices were screaming, "arghh!!" and "my eyes!"
I followed up with, "now!"
Katelyn and I ran into the tent and I ran towards the sword. I was at the moment on touching it when Katelyn screamed, "look out!"
A fireball flew towards my chest. I quickly responded by trying to control the fire ball, however... ๐๐ต ๐ช๐ด ๐ต๐ฐ ๐ด๐ต๐ณ๐ฐ๐ฏ๐จ! My eyes wend wide when the fireball connected with my naked chest, ๐ช๐ต ๐ฉ๐ถ๐ณ๐ต๐ด ๐ญ๐ช๐ฌ๐ฆ ๐ฉ๐ฆ๐ญ๐ญ! And soon I started too scream, "aaaargh!!" My sunglasses flew off my head, cause off the impact and so did my body falling on the ground.
I knew the man firing that magic, it was Darius. The knight that killed that poor women and stole Martins bonus. "You! I knew you were no good at the moment I saw you!" he yelled.
"Nooo!" Katelyn screamed, while Darius was charging a new shot. I saw her trying to make light magic, but it did not cast.
The second fireball flew towards me. This time I casted water magic to block the fireball and countered it with a fireball of my own.
Darius tried to control my fireball as well, but... "This power!" My fireball ignited his suit. "kggggh!" was the sound coming out of him.
In the mean time the two guards who were blinded started to see again. "But it has fire resistance!" the knight in the red suit called, while the knight in the blue suit casted water magic on Darius "Goddam super sun."
๐๐ฉ๐ช๐ด ๐ช๐ด ๐ฎ๐บ ๐ฎ๐ฐ๐ฎ๐ฆ๐ฏ๐ต! I stood up as fast as I could and grabbed the sword laying on the pillow.
Darius shot another fireball at me that I blocked with water magic. I made a gust of wind and made the knights flew backwards. They all fell on the ground when I screamed, "run!"
Katelyn and I started to run as fast as we could.
PATIENCE
"I want my present!" the angry prince shouted to an air knight.
I quickly observed the room. Chairs laid on the ground, some guards must have sat they flew off. A few wet spots could be found on the floor, it could have been water magic. The pillow was in a fine shape, but the sword was missing. And finally a pair of sunglasses were laying on the floor. I walked to the sunglasses and picked it up. ๐'๐ฎ ๐ช๐ฏ ๐ญ๐ถ๐ค๐ฌ. A fingerprint was found on the sunglasses. I captured it which caught prince Lucas's attention.
"Who is that elf?" His face looked full with disgust. His blond hair must have been from his mother, Grandons hair was pure red. The kid was eighteen, but had the size from a twelve year old. He was angry, because someone had stolen his present. ๐๐ณ๐ข๐ต๐ฉ... ๐๐บ ๐ง๐ข๐ต๐ฉ๐ฆ๐ณ ๐ธ๐ฐ๐ถ๐ญ๐ฅ ๐ฃ๐ถ๐ณ๐ฏ ๐ฎ๐ฆ ๐ช๐ฏ ๐ต๐ฉ๐ฆ ๐ฃ๐ณ๐ช๐จ๐ฉ๐ต ๐ด๐ถ๐ฏ ๐ง๐ฐ๐ณ ๐ข ๐ธ๐ฆ๐ฆ๐ฌ, ๐ช๐ง ๐ ๐ธ๐ข๐ด ๐ข๐ฏ๐จ๐ณ๐บ ๐ข๐ฃ๐ฐ๐ถ๐ต ๐ฎ๐บ ๐ฑ๐ณ๐ฆ๐ด๐ฆ๐ฏ๐ต๐ด.
"He is Azrael, the best one of the best detectives around here," the air knight introduces me to the prince. He head green short hair and looked like a calm and quiet person. It seemed that he had a lot of patience with the prince and I respected that.
"It's an honor to..."
"Yea yea, whatever. You are a detective right?" the small boy interrupted my greetings.
I replied to his answer with patience, "yes my lord."
"Well don't just stay there! Find my present!" The prince had no respect at all, but with a father like Grandon he will learn it someday. The future of Vloricus rests in this boy's hand.
The air knight sighed hopelessly and I replied with, "yes my lord. I will get to it immediately."
I walked out of the tent and compared the fingerprint on the sunglasses with the one on the letter. It did not connect at all. I looked at my watch. It was still quarter two. ๐๐ฆ๐ต'๐ด ๐ง๐ช๐ฏ๐ฅ ๐ต๐ฉ๐ช๐ด ๐ต๐ฉ๐ช๐ฆ๐ง.

I ran into the crowd with my sword in my backpack. Katelyn ran close behind me. I saw Darius and the other two knights coming out of the tent. Darius looked furious, but he had not seen us yet. We ran and ran.
After a while Katelyn said, "follow me!" and she boosted forward to ran before me. She tried to grab my hand midway, but I dodged her hand. Katelyn accepted it and pulled her hand back. I did not know if it bordered her or not, but I did not worry about it.
I decided to follow Katelyn and she brought us to a hospital. I never been in a hospital before, but I figured it out because of the red cross above it. Maybe she brought us here, because of my burn wound. It hurt like hell though.
Katelyn led me inside and suddenly I tripped over nothing. "Are you okay?" Katelyn asked worried.
The moment I got up she tried to wrap her arm around me to help me walking, but I dodged her hand. "I'm fine." ๐๐ฉ๐บ ๐ฅ๐ฐ๐ฆ๐ด ๐ช๐ต ๐ด๐ต๐ช๐ญ๐ญ ๐ฉ๐ถ๐ณ๐ต ๐ด๐ฐ ๐ฃ๐ข๐ฅ๐ญ๐บ?
"Over here." Katelyn said pointing at a nearby door. She tried to open the door when another voice blocked her action.
"Katelyn? You're... back?" The girl was dressed in a white dress which confirmed that she works here. The name plate on her chest said, "Manaia." Manaia continued, "You decided to give your daddy a goodbye hug?" ๐๐ฉ๐ข๐ต ๐ฅ๐ช๐ฅ ๐ ๐ฎ๐ช๐ด๐ด? She had blue hair with a ponytail. Taller than me but shorter than Katelyn. Her shaping's were straighter than Katelyn's. Manaia made a bit of a jealous look. The sharp look from her blue eyes were able to cut right trough Katelyn's soft skin.
"Go back to work," Katelyn said with an annoyed look.
"This is my work. You need to give your name and stay in the waiting room like everybody else." Manaia ordered us to make an appointment even though the room she mentioned was completely empty.
Katelyn gave Manaia a murderous look when she stamped to the desk. Me and Manaia followed her.
"Who's name should I give?" Manaia asked.
Katelyn gave her name with a sign, "Katelyn Stiller."
"Yeah yeah boring. I know your name already. Tell me handsome, what is your name?" Manaia looked at me teasingly. It made me really uncomfortable.
Katelyn tensed her finger muscles out of anger and grabbed Manaia's collar with her other hand. "Reuben is my boyfriend!" she hissed.
However Manaia did not know how to stop and said carelessly, "I need his last name as well."
Katelyn still holding Manaia's collar used her tensed hand to scratch a wound in Manaia's cheeks with her sharp nails. Katelyn let loose of Manaia's collar which was colored red from the wound's blood.
What happened next was... "...!" ๐ ๐ฑ๐ข๐ด๐ด๐ฆ๐ฅ ๐ฐ๐ถ๐ต. Just for a few seconds my entire body lost control and I felt on the floor.
"Reuben...!" Katelyn tried to help me back up, but I wiggled her arms off.
"I said I'm fine!" That made a shock on Katelyn's face.
"What is happening over here?!" I heavy voice sounded at the door we tried to enter before. There stood a large man with a large, blue beard, but not a single hair on the top of his head. He was big in muscles and fat, big enough to just leap me to the ground. His glasses were crooked on his nose. "Dr. Moisturizer," was written on his name card. He took a better look and said, "Katelyn...? Reuben...?" He looked even closer, "why is Manaia's cheek bleeding?"

That was my plan. With my thin body, I squeezed trough the crowd with easy. I dodged everything thanks to my dexterity. The moment I got out of the crowd all I had to do was run. I used the whole length of my tall legs and gave as much speed as I could. This way, I made large and fast steps. ๐๐ต ๐ช๐ด ๐ฑ๐ฐ๐ด๐ด๐ช๐ฃ๐ญ๐ฆ!
All I focused on was my breathing and my speed, until I arrived at the entrance. ๐๐ฉ๐ช๐ด ๐ช๐ด ๐ต๐ฉ๐ฆ ๐ฑ๐ข๐ณ๐ต ๐ธ๐ฉ๐ฆ๐ณ๐ฆ ๐ ๐ธ๐ข๐ช๐ต. And that is what I did, waiting while paying attention to every person that walks in and out of this village.
With my mind focused on a golden sword I looked at every person who walked in and out, however... there was not a single person to see. "Well, I guess all I have to do is wait." I picked a piece of elven bread out of my pouch and enjoyed it.

"I'm sorry I can't heal this." After Katelyn explained everything to the doctor, he let me in his office. Unfortunately the fire wound was not treatable for him.
"Why not doctor? You are the best!" Katelyn said dumfounded.
Doctor Moisturizer sighed, "I'm not the best... You told me Darius did this right?"
I nodded. "Darius is very strong."
"Not only that... the super sun is active," the doctor said.

I read something about the seasons and there element. The super sun in summer, which strengthens fire is now active. Than there are the strong wind, the cold moon and the energic ground. Every season strengthens one of the primary magic types.
"So... what now?" Katelyn asked.
"Now we leave." I replied.
"Are you crazy?! You can't leave like this!"
"The whole village is searching for us. We have to..."
"Bor... ehm... doctor, tell him he can't move!" Katelyn panicked.
"Normally I would recommend to stay in bed, but..." the doctor did not finish his sentence, because he did not have to. Everyone knew what the answer was.
Katelyn looked down and remained silent. Of course she knew we had no choice, but to leave.
Doctor Moisturizer walked towards me, "I left your horse at the stable near the entrance, she is a black horse with a letter attached to her saddle. Her name is Talia, take good care of her will you?"

"Here you'll need this if you want to walk," the doctor handed me a walking stick. It looked like fine quality, it had a simple handgrip, but it could get me somewhere.

The super sun got replaced by the moon when I finally saw two figures coming towards me. The were very slow and one moved weird. The moment they got closer I saw a young boy with a walking stick walking next to a young girl. The boy was small and blond, the girl was taller with pink hair. Both of them carried a large backpack. The girls lips moved and the boy looked annoyed. With a sigh he gave his backpack to the girl. He walked a little better than with that large backpack on.
Eventually they were in the range I could hear them. The boy looked a bit to the ground and the girl noticed me. She tapped the girl on the shoulder and said, "someone is there."
They tried to walk around me, but I stopped them.
"What is your problem?" the boy said. He opened his eyes widely for a unknown reason. ๐๐ด ๐ฉ๐ฆ ๐ด๐ค๐ข๐ณ๐ฆ๐ฅ? He still looked at the ground.
"Sorry sir, we are in a hurry. My friend got hurt," the girl said.
"I am sorry, I just need to check your backs," I said with an easy smile.
"We will not let our backs get checked by a stranger!" the boy was a bit moody. Maybe, because he was wounded or maybe it was just his personality.
"I am sorry sir we got to hurry, he has trouble walking and he needs a doctor," the girl looked worried, she was not acting, but I had to check their backs.
"There is a hospital in Lori Village, why going out?"
"Mister we do not have time for you," the boy was done talking and walked further, but I stopped them once again.
"My apologies," I showed them my badge.
"A knight?" the girl said.
"A detective," I corrected her.
"I am sorry detective, the doctor told us to move as quickly as possible. You know... my boyfriend got hurt really badly and the doctor of this village won't be able to heal him. We are heading to Glena.
Glena was one of the richer parts of Vloricus. They have a very popular fire school. However it will take them 2 or 3 weeks to get there.
"What happened to him?" I asked.
"We were watching the cooking competition when one of the cooks hit my friend by accident. He is lucky that the cook was weak user, but the super sun made it disastrous," the girl explained.
"Let me look," I bended towards the bow and made a little light on my finger. "That does not look so good."
"See? Can we go now kind sir," the girl really wanted to go, but that was not what I planned to do.
"Please stand still." I moved me hand towards the wound and looked at the boys eyes. He seemed scared and uncomfortable. "I will help you." Light shone out of my hands to the wound. And the boy was suddenly able to stand normally. The wound was still the same whatsoever.
"U can use light magic..." the girl looked amazed at my hand.
"This will get you to Glena easier. Make sure to rest every night."

My eyes moved a bit towards Katelyn and she seemed a little nervous as well, but she did not know. She did not know what kind of man stood before us. Super sun or no super sun, this man would win.

I looked at floor the whole time, but I could feel his eyes looking down at me. He was silent. He waited for my sentence to finish. He waited for us to show our backs and turn us in.

"Mister detective," the voice was so sharp. It cut my sentence with ease. "I need to help my friend, so can you look at me," with one arm she pulled me close to her and covered my eyes with her hand from the same right arm. After that there was nothing. ๐๐ฉ๐ข๐ต ๐ฉ๐ข๐ฑ๐ฑ๐ฆ๐ฏ๐ฆ๐ฅ? ๐๐ฉ๐ข๐ต ๐ช๐ด ๐ฉ๐ข๐ฑ๐ฑ๐ฆ๐ฏ๐ช๐ฏ๐จ?!
"I give you a point for being clever... But your light magic is nothing compared to mine," the detective spoke.
For some reason this was the first time I felt comfortable by being held by someone else, however it did not took long. Katelyn felt on the ground at the exact place my eyes were pointed to. Her eyes were not pink anymore. They were white. That beautiful eye color was gone. However I never dared to make I contact with the girl, her eyes amazed me when she looked at the sun. They were worth a thousand of dragon stones. A thousands of rings. A thousands of golden swords. She did not move a single bit. She just laid there on the floor.
"It is okay," the detective said, "she is not dead. Will you hand me your back now." His voice did not sound friendly, but serious. It was not his sentence that was a threat, but his voice.
All I could do was stair at Katelyn. I was waiting for her to save me. I was waiting and...

I hoped to be on a horse. Holding Katelyn's belly and trying to reach for her breasts, but that girl laid under me. Not like she laid in my bed, but more like... dead. Her eye color changed, but not like mine do when Levi takes over. Maybe changed was the wrong word. It was more like her eye color disappeared. Not even that was true. Her pupils were nowhere to find either. Het whole eyes were just white, with just a few small veins to be seen.
I felt something in my stomach. It did not felt bad, but it was not pleasant either. It was big though. I realized I could smell something as well. I could even taste it a little and when I looked up I could see it. It was a large white cloud with a person in the middle. It was not human. It was an elf and this power came from him. He was the owner of the white cloud. The elf looked dumfounded at me. He probably just witnessed my hair color to change.
"Renรฉ velna?" I asked, "is there a problem" in Elvish while putting a bright fake smile on my face.
He shook his head, "who are you?"
"Mind your manners. Did your mother never learn you to introduce yourself first."
"Your hair..." he looked at my hair with surprise.
"What about it? It is the same color as... hers. What happened to her anyway?"
"I-I need to check your back."
"Do you even have a mother? I won't give it to you man."
"My... mother... My mother is..." he kept staring at my hair.
"Never mind, what is that white cloud flying around you? And why does my girlfriends eyes share the same color as the cloud?" My legs felt like running away. My eyes felt like crying. My mouth felt like screaming. But my mind felt like saving Katelyn and getting out of this village.
"Cloud...?"
"You know what? Never mind that either. I will forgive you for this. Only if you let us go. Deal? You really don't want to meet my full potential," I bluffed. This man was stronger by far, I felt it. But I reached two hands towards me and showed a sphere of fire and air above my right hand and water and earth above my left.
"I... I..."
"'I am sorry,' are the words you are seeking."
"I... am sorry," he said with his eyes still locked at the same position.
"Alright. Better be careful next time." I walked towards Katelyn and tried to pick her up. She was taller than me, but I could tilt her with a little effort. I carried her on my back. I tried to reach a hand to grab on backpack and grabbed the other one with my mouth. My back and jaw hurt, but I walked around the elf trough the entrance.
"Wait I have to..." the elf turned around and tried to say something, but I dropped the back I held with my mouth and cut him off.

"..." the elf now looking at me again had nothing to say.
"Don't worry about it. I will find a doctor," I tried to pick up the back with my other hand and I carried it along with the other back and Katelyn. I tried to move my legs as fast as possible. I felt the energy leaving me very slowly until I was far enough. We made it out of Lori Village.
Finally out of side I hurried with Katelyn on my back. My fake smile disappeared immediately and my legs were moving shakingly. I was hyper ventilating. I was having a panic attack. With a lot of stress I hurried to the stable. "Please don't follow us, please don't follow us."
I arrived at the stable without a clue, for which horse I was looking for. I tried to put Katelyn's whole body on my right arm, but was not able to hold her. Katelyn felt on the grass. "Shit!" I screamed with a shaky voice. I made a little light by making a small flame on my index finger. These thoughts flew trough my mind, which made it harder to focus on finding... ๐๐ฉ๐ข๐ต ๐ธ๐ข๐ด ๐ ๐ง๐ช๐ฏ๐ฅ๐ช๐ฏ๐จ ๐ข๐จ๐ข๐ช๐ฏ...? ๐๐บ ๐ฉ๐ฐ๐ณ๐ด๐ฆ! I stood before a pegasus and stood still for only a second when he kicked me in my nuts. "A....AAAAARRGH!!" I screamed with saliva flying out of my mouth and felt on the ground. ๐๐ฉ๐บ ๐ฅ๐ช๐ฅ ๐ต๐ฉ๐ข๐ต ๐ต๐ฉ๐ช๐ฏ๐จ ๐ฅ๐ฐ ๐ต๐ฉ๐ข๐ต?! Luckily I was able to turn of the fire before it hit something. I stood up with a lot of pain when my shoulder touched something. It was a piece of paper attached to a saddle. I lit back the small flame and read, 'TO KATELYN AND REUBEN.' This is our horse. I found our horse. I grabbed its rein and led it out of the stable.
I ran towards Katelyn who was still lying in the grass and tried to lift her on the horse. It was hard to made her sit straight. I turned my back towards her so she could lend against it while I searched my backpack for some clothing. I picked a pajama which looked like it was the largest. I tried to push Katelyn more up and while holding her I attached both backpacks to the saddle. On in each side of the horse. The horse was big and hard to get on, but I got on it eventually while still holding Katelyn. I sat on the horse and used the pajama to tie Katelyn to my torso. I did not know how to ride a horse but I gave him just a little sign with my foot and the horse started to walk nice and easy.
Tears were flowing over my cheeks when I said, "we are going to be aright Katelyn. Don't die on me." Her face with the white eyes was burned in my mind, as was the elf with the large cloud.
I had no clue where I was going, but I was away from Lori Village. I had the sword. I had Katelyn. I had a horse. And I was safe for now.
Watching the sun coming up with my tired eyes I felt on the floor with Katelyn attached to me. I saw the horse stopping and my eyes closed slowly.
