On the way back home, Bertha Haines received a call from her mother, saying that her brother had returned from a business trip and wanted to see her.
So, she took the two little ones straight to her mother's place.
"Grandma!"
As soon as they entered, Justin Lewis rushed into Jerry Moore's embrace, sweet-talking.
"Grandma, I missed you."
"Grandma missed you too."
Jerry Moore picked up Emma Mu, while her eyes turned to Bartley standing beside Bertha. She then looked at her daughter in confusion and asked.
"You... how did you..."
Jerry Moore had seen Bartley before, though only in photos. April told her immediately after finding out Bartley's identity. She had tried to contact Amos Smith, but he refused to see her.
"Bartley, this is Grandma."
After Bertha introduced them, Ivan Norris came out of the bedroom. He had just taken a shower and was wearing a gray-blue loungewear set, his slightly long hair a bit damp, resembling an artist.
"Grandma."
