"What???she is thinking wrong, she is special and…"jack was about to continue but then they realized something, standing in middle of library both of them suddenly stopped, all students were watching them, librarian was stunned too, some of the students who knew jack was totally shocked seeing this guy in library, they were feeling like seeing car running on river.
Librarian standing at her table came out and looked at jack from head to toe, she came closer to him and sniffed him, seeing her actions jack was looking at her with his eyes wide open, like what the hell she thinks I'm drunk? He thought in is mind, Sam was finally in his senses, he was already thinking about what would happen next, maybe we will be standing in front of principal in next hour or maybe she is going to scold us, anything can happen, he was regretting his decision of talking with jack. Luna was also stunned seeing both of them here like this, she was unable to figure out what could be the reason of all this.
"What is this?" Finally librarian opened her mouth, "this is library, it's not your home." she was already scolding them, "students like you are burden on this college, what is this behavior? You disturbed the whole environment here." Her voice was no less than scratching iron nail on any steel utensil for jack. "We are really sorry ma'am, actually we can explain." Sam came ahead and was ready to handle situation, "actually he is, I mean it was urgency…." Sam was talking and trying his best to lie, his voice was cracking too, which made other student laugh. "Silence!!" Librarian was behaving like no less than commander and her only word made the whole chaos turn into pin dropped silence.
"Whatever you excuse is, come with me and explain me." she walked toward her table and sat on chair, leaning back, "say!" Sam and jack both followed her, "do you think I am fool?" Before sam could say anything she said, "he is having injury on hand and waking around like this he must be high on something, I should tell this to principal or your parents, and your warden too, seems like your warden is not so serious about his work that's why guys like you are behaving like this, this could be threat to everyone. I must talk about this to principal this is a serious issue." she was talking like if she was in debate, making jack lose hi patience, "this is not like what you are thinking." jack was ready to fight but sam grabbed his hand and dragged him behind, "we are really guilty about our behavior, but it happened because of an emergency, actually we were in our dorm but then we got news that Luna who was studying here, her friend lily was just had an accident, we were calling luna but since she was here she was unable to attend the call, and her phone might be on silence so we came here to take her with us but in all this chaos, this dude forgot to wear cloths." Listening to him jack looked at him with anger, "why lily???" he whispered.
Librarian again scanned both of them from head to toe this action of her was making jack feel uncomfortable. He was wishing to leave this place as soon as possible, this few minutes of this life were the longest minutes ever, he wanted to run out and run to his room directly but has no choice and let this woman scan him, he was regretting everything.
Librarian finally after long silence said, "where is luna?" Sam looked back and saw luna standing at corner table, he waved and asked her to come at table, watching him luna walked toward them, she made an eye contact with sam, I know nothing dude, she shouted but in her mind, worry was totally visible in her eyes, sam closed his eyes trying to suggest I will handle it. "Where is your phone?" as soon as she came at table librarian said raising her eyebrows, finally her eyebrows were visible jack was scanning her face too, she was a lady in her 50s, wearing yellow colored sweater and blue colored pencil skirt with pumps, tied her blond hairs in bun and no hair was allowed to peep out, glasses were was of rectangular frame with wide borders not allowing her eyebrows to be visible to others, she was looking like a villain to him. Seeing her eyebrows sam thought her glasses there are for reasons this eyebrows are really something.
Luna was scared, she handed her phone to librarian after unlocking it, "open your call history." librarian said, luna did as she asked for, sam was praying for there should be calls and god this time listened him, there was five missed calls of pam, after reaching her room pam was calling her to ask where were she but since the phone was on silent luna was unaware about the calls, librarian looked at three of them , "since it an emergency and you are not in good situation, I will let you guys go for now but come here later with your friend and this type of behavior will not be accepted next time, you may leave now." she said with her strict voice.
Jack left library the second he heard you may leave now, luna was still in questions, sam felt relaxed and all three of them came out of the building. Jack let out sigh of relief when he came out, "man this women is evil!" he said looking at sam, "did you noticed how she was scanning me? Man I am not going to come here again in my whole life, I swear this was my first and last time of entering in this room."
Luna was aware about girls and boys watching them, she took out her scarf and wrapped it around jack while closing her one eyes and looking down. Her action made sam laughed, "you are really something dude." he said while laughing.
Looking at the scarf and the way luna wrapped it jack said, "something? No son no, I am sage, holy person." raising his hand and acting like a sage he continued, "I will leave you guys alone now, son sam please explain her why I had to come here like this, bye." He said and left the place with same posture, boys standing nearby bowed to him, they were always ready to join his nonsense, he was too walking while saying BLESS YOU.
Sam shook his head while smiling at he looked at luna, she was watching jack with smile on her face, In this darkness too she is looking so pretty with those shiny, innocent eyes, sam was lost in her cute face.
