Many of us never believe in Spirits or Ghosts and believe that what we have heard about Ghosts are just stories.
But here I am sitting, while writing can remember everything about a house I have heard stories about but had never believed in and had regretted not believing and going into that house.
My name is Zain, I live in a city named Bahawalpur, located in Pakistan. I am 36 years old.
This story I am going to write about started almost 20 years ago when I was 16 years old.
One day, I, with some of my friends decided to go out of the city known as Lodhran. We planned to visit to have some fun.
On a Sunday, early morning on our bicycles, we head towards the nearby city. It was the first time that I left my city, the only reason behind not leaving my city alone all these years before was only due to the stories related to a house located near our city. My parents never allowed me to leave the city as they were afraid of that house.
I somehow convinced my parents to let me go out of the city but they agreed only on one condition and that was to come home soon and not to stop near that house, I promised them and here now I was going out with my friends to the nearby city known as Lodhran.
We reached Lodhran on time and decided to go swimming, our city was bigger than Lodhran and have much more places to visit but for us, it was a new experience. We did swimming there and visited Sultan Ayub Qattal shrine and Kanjo Hall. We spent some quality time there and decided to head back home as it was getting darker now and our parents were waiting for us.
We on our way back to Bahawalpur come across that house we had heard stories about.
I and my three friends Usama, Ali and Kashif decided to go into that house to check whether the stories that we have heard about were real or not, so we all four friends head towards the main gate of the house but the moment we reached those gate we realized that someone was walking behind us too, we look back to see who was behind us but were shocked to see that there was no one.
Now we realized that something was wrong here and Kashif who was walking with us was now sitting under a tree staring towards the gate and waving his hands towards someone but to our surprise, the gate was locked and there was no one there.
The moment we come to know that there was no one, we decided to leave the place immediately and ran towards Kashif who was still waving his hands toward someone.
Ali was now getting angry at kashif's stupidity and slapped him, grabbed his hand and ran towards the bicycles.
All of us were shocked but still managed to sit on our bicycles and rode back towards the city without looking back at the house even though we were hearing the footsteps of someone behind us.
Kashif who was sitting behind Ali's bicycle was in deep shock, it seems like he had seen someone there behind the locked gates of the house.
I looked at him and decided to question him regarding what he had seen there when we will reach back home and continued riding the bicycle towards home.
