The Military Headquarters.
A messenger riding at full speed burst through the headquarters' front gate. His horse had barely come to a stop before he jumped off and sprinted inside.
"The convoy has departed! The confiscated assets are on their way!" His voice echoed through the building.
Within moments, officers who had been waiting since midnight immediately sprang into action.
The headquarters had already received advance notice several hours ago that the operation had been successful. However, success inside the warehouse meant very little until every single chest safely entered the vaults.
Inside the command room, a large map of Napuna covered the central table. Several officers stood around it.
Red markers indicated the convoy's current location, and blue markers represented military checkpoints.
A colonel looked at the Chief of Staff, Bain Lawrence. "The convoy should reach the western exit very soon."
"Is there any suspicious movement reported?"
"None so far."
