My morning is so peaceful, the birds is singing while I am appreciating the view at my room, and sipping the coffee.
What a scene, I have more courage to wake up everyday, if my view was this.
"How long it was when the last time I feel this kind of peace?" I said and sip at my coffee once more.
A soft knock makes me look at my door, and it opened slowly, it's my lady in waiting.
"Good morning, her royal highness, Princess Delaney." I nod and Lady Criseta is looking at me now.
"I have your appointment today, and you're kind of busy today." She stated, and showed the who paper, the time of my meetings and errands that I will check, but the last errand for my schedule today, was the mercant, Sir Warren.
"The papers was at your office, and the renovation of your office is finally done, you can check it out." I am surprised that my office is already done now.
The last time that I checked it, still under renovation. Maybe there's a lot of pending papers to finish, I can actually finish all of them, but for the mean time, I decided to prioritize myself.
And now, I am back to reality, my original plan.
"I will prepare right now, I don't want any of you to assist me this morning, just leave the rest here." I stand up and comb my hair.
Lady Critesa just bowed her head and leave the schedule to me.
"Walk with the crown prince, for meeting?" My fore head creased and trying to remember if there is some things that I missed out.
The project, at the Windsor. It was me who approved his petty project, that only benefits him. He's selfish, as always.
I stretched my body and saw my reflection at the mirror once that I walk passed the mirror.
Take a bath on my own, like before when no one is serving me.
It feels so good to be back, I am ready now with my new chapter in life, and finally. Will execute my plan, piece by piece and I already figure out what will become their destruction, I just need to wait patiently now and wait them to commit some mistakes, until their wrong actions will become uncountable.
I fixed my hair, before putting some make up and choose some formal attire, because of I need to attend a lot of meetings. Pants will do, so I can move freely.
"My future duchess is getting busy now." I look around the guy behind me, it's Duke Theron. Watching my reflection at the vanity mirror, and it's more of appreciating.
"Yeah, I have a lot of works today. But don't worry. I love to work until the dawn actually, I enjoy working as much as I can." I smile to the Duke, and turn around.
He just smile to me, and kneel. Holds my hand and kiss it. "What a nice view every morning, because you're there." He said and I can't hide my smile when I heard that cheesy line from Duke Theron.
"I didn't know that you have that kind of side. The cheesy one, how surprising it was." He also chuckled before getting up and gently touched my hair.
"I heard that the Mercenary King is here, is he really associated with you?" I nod slowly and show my smile.
Akeldama is a good guy, I feel it and saw it.
"You guys have nothing to worry about my Mercenary King, he is a good person. Helped me when I needed it the most, and also. He is realiable." I may sound defending him, but who cares, that is my reality.
Because he is nice to me, and he didn't harm people around me, instead. He protect them all.
"Just always remember that you need to become extra cautious at all times, my princess Delaney. The day of our marriage is getting near, and your life is also at stake, you also feel that your family is plotting something that is not right, but now. Calm down and always check if the place is okay, the guards must be around the place." I nod again and Duke Theron kissed my forehead, before leaving my room.
I am alone now, and continue what I left when the Duke was here.
When I am done, I left the room, and the guards walk behind me.
I walk to the route where it will lead me at the main palace, but I saw some nobility, and they are whispering around when they saw me wearing a pants.
At this time, woman who wear pants isn't look right for them. They are not okay to see a woman to wear a pants.
But I am wearing one, because I want to feel comfortable on how I move.
"Princess Delaney, what are you wearing, isn't it inappropriate to wear something like that at this time?" The marquess asked and looking at my outfit, he seems concerned, when he approached me.
"I am totally fine, don't worry about me Marquess." I showed my half smile, and he seemed like to talk with me.
So I waited for a second. "Your highness, I already heard that you did something great at the Windsor when the Duke is busy at his errands. I'd like to hear more of it, when you're available." I smile politely and accept the hand shake.
"Sure, you can appoint with my lady in waiting or to my butler, and I will be there." He kneel and bowed his head, before I left the mini garden.
I almost tripped, but it's a good thing that I manage to balance my body and when I look behind me, Princess Hannah was there, and I think she pushed me near to the stones.
If I didn't manage my body, my face will become damaged because of her push.
When my sister will stop her attempts to harm me, I don't know what she want right now, but this is not right. Pushing me, assaulting me. She will not succeed, and I won't allow her to do what she want.
Marriage is not like a toy, that she will get what she want, or anything that she asked, she will have them.
Hannah has no recognition to the reality, because my father always give what his daughter whimps. Even that is a guy, and the Duke Theron doesn't want Hannah.
I know the reasons why the Duke Theron never like Hannah, first is because of how she acts.
The Duke want a mature woman, a wise one and he know that will help him with his ambitions.
Hannah can't do anything that the Duke like to a woman.
What a shame, liking me over the princess Hannah is like telling that I am way better than the favorite daughter of the emperor.
"Just die, and leave the Duke Theron alone." She showed her knife, and I become more focused at her movements, is she really serious right now? Assaulting in daylight?
"What's wrong with you, acting like you want to kill me." I said and she tried to stab me now.
"I am not trying, because my intention is to kill you right now. You're a biggest problem here. Why you didn't die at the Gribe empire, you're supposed to be death right now." She tried to stab me again, and I dodge it effortlessly.
She becomes mad and the knights showed up, and the marquess was behind the guards.
They see what the princess tried to do lately.
"Princess Delaney," he said and look at me, thw knights get the knife and the lady in waiting of my sister showed up, and Hannah started to act like I am the one who harmed her.
"She tried to kill me, I am just protecting myself from that woman, she is evil!" Hannah said while crying now.
Wow, lately, I am being harmed here, and now. Hannah is the victim?
I feel bad. I feel what will become my situation after this commotion.
"Your highness, I'm so sorry but based on what I heard, it sounds like you're lying." Hannah looked at the marquess. And even I was surprised that he is siding me?
"You assault the princess Delaney first, pushing her and stabing her." I didn't move, I am watching them now, and Sir William is walking to my direction, with the Azriel.
Why there's a lot of people here?
"This isn't right, harming the future Duchess means a big disrespect to the Duke and the royal family should be nice to the Duke's Theron side." The marquess said and look at me, Sir William instructed Azriel to check me.
Maybe he think that I have some bruises or what.
"The emperor should undergo a trial, because of your attempt." Hannah stood up, and rolled her eyes.
"I don't need your opinion, I will do what I desired, even killing that cursed princess. She is not my sister and I feel bad that Delaney and I are sharing some blood, it's a pure disgrace to the royal family, she should banish, or be dead." I almost chuckle, but I managed to stop myself.
"Your highness, you better go back to your quarters." Sir William said and I shook ny head.
"I can't, I have a lot of errands today. I need to finish them." I said and Hannah is being taken away, her lady in waiting was glaring at me and smirk.
Those people didn't know their place. And I will do what I should.
They should be thankful that I didn't do anything before, I was nice and patience with them. But now, I won't be nice with this people anymore.
After checking myself, I start walking and will check my office, it's really nice and the office became more bigger and the wind is really refreshing here.
Lady Critesa prepared the papers, and I will be back after I talked with my stupid brother.
I walked hurriedly and saw my brother at the garden, he is alone, and when he saw me. He walked to my direction and show his evil smile.
"I know what my sister done to you, it's all over the capital now, you're happy now?" I creased my forehead and chuckle. He is really serious now?
"That's nice, as far that I remember. I was the victim here, but why I am being blamed by the actions that is not my fault?" I looked at Terrence, and he's mad right now.
Raising his hand, but Sir William talked behind me. I didn't notice that he is here.
"Your highness, I bet you know that laying your hand to princess Delaney will become a hot topic like how the princess Hannah is being the topic of the capital now." He stoped there and glare at me.
"Sign the papers that I am asking, I need them tomorrow, and I don't want it messy, make sure that you will do your work perfectly." He said and walk away.
Sir William looked at me and took a deep breath. I thought I am all alone when I came here.
"From now on, you should bring your guards, you can't walk alone without them, can't you see, they are assaulting you in board light, that's not a good sign." I walk away and Sir William is beside me.
"Who cares, they can hurt me as much as they want, but they can't run away from the result of their actions. They can do anything, but it will win my favor to the people, that I wasn't that bad princess that they are trying to spread." I smile and look at the servants that see how the crown prince almost hit me.
"And the supporters of the Duke will change their side, just wait and watch me to play and control the whole situation. Because at the beginning, it's me who is controlling everything."
Sir William talk and seems not that convinced.
"Just let me do my plan, and I will assure you that I will always win this time, because I want to."
