"You have a company today," Warren said and looking at Sir William who is standing at my back. I don't know how to stop Sir William to guard me, because he's being protective since what happened lately is very serious case.
"Give me a second." I look at Sir William and walk a little far from Warren.
"I need to talk with him for a while, can you distance yourself, I promise, he won't harm me. And it's about business." I said and he looked at Sir Warren.
"I am just being extra careful, since you almost died today, because of your crazy sister." He whispered and I chuckled at the part of crazy sister.
"Don't forget that your brother almost hit you, and if I did not see that, you might have some bruises now." He said and I took a deep breath.
"I know, and thank you for your care. But Sir Warren is not the same as what you're thinking. He is nice and we have a lot of things to talk about. So stay outside the room, and I will call you once the meeting is over." I said and he just nod.
"Fine, but don't do anything that might bring you a burden." He left the room, and close the door.
I just took a deep breath too and look at sir Warren. He's sitting at the sofa, and a lot of products was there.
I sat at the sofa and started to talk about the business.
"As you can see, this products are new and I didn't release this to the market, because I want you to try them first." I look each of it, and most of that is jewelry.
"I opened a new business, it's a jewelry shop and that is customed made, well. You're the new center of attention of all people here in Capital. Some of the people see you as a good model, and some of them are curious about you, and you're a great image for the products that I am about to release." I nod and all of them are pretty.
"But you know, I am planning to open something, and I already contacted Duke Theron and he is negotiating at the other country, and that is some silk." I showed him the silk that I am talking about.
It's a high value made silk. "I want to sell this at the capital, and I also made some medicines that has great effect. I already tried this on me, and overnight. A deep wound healed four times faster, and recover almost instantly." I also showed the medicine.
"When I almost got killed by the curse and poison, this is my resistance." He looked surprised and looked at me.
"I didn't know that you are capable of doing medicines, that's nice." I smiled and he chuckled and looking at each item that I also present.
"Now I know, why your family is threatened on you, because you're talented that the prince and princess didn't had." I rolled my eyes, and tried the bracelet that is really gorgeous.
"I'm just doing my job, as a future Duchess of Windsor. I must be strong, so they won't target me, I already know what my father want and it's not really that good, because of the actions of his children." I have to give my all, in order to become better and those people who is planning to bring me down, will never succeed.
"I love your idea, and I will help you with all of my might, and we will make sure that business of yours will become a hit." He offered his hand, and I gladly accept it.
"I have a new product from the north, this is kind of rare. Because they are aloof, hard to make a deal with them, but I manage to. Would you like to try?" He showed the wine, and I look at it.
He pour some, and drink it first, before giving it to me.
Before I drink it, I already smell the aroma, and it's really stimulating my brain.
"It's good." I said and drank all of the wine.
"Can you replicate that wine, I know that you have knowledge with the medicines, means you have a sharp taste at the ingredients." I nod and look at the wine.
"If we can get the ingredients of that wine, we can replicate it, but the problem is we don't know the process of the wine that they made." A few idea came into my mind.
My mom has this recipe at her notes, she's from the west, and maybe I can make some and when it taste the same as the wine that I just take, means this is from my mother's land.
"Alright, I will do everything that I can to work it out."
"That wine is really expensive, because the northern people is not really good at making a deal with their customers," he explained and the meeting is really getting along.
I got a lot of goods, and I also gave my products.
I am done checking it, until I noticed that Warren is not talking anymore, and when I look at his direction, he was staring at me. Watching every moves that I made lately, while checking out the things that he gave to me.
And when I looked at him, he was caught off guard, and trying to look away.
"Is there something wrong with my face?" I asked, and he shook his head. His face turns red, and trying to explain himself.
"Nothing, I just look at you. Because I didn't see your face at the board light before. You look amazingly breath taking." My forehead creased and laugh at him.
"That's a nice way to say that I am gorgeous, thank you." I said and chuckled, when I saw his red ear, looking away from me.
He looked like a shy kid who want some candy with me.
"It's a great opportunity to work with you, and I know that you're being the main topic of the capital, because of your performance and how you are being harmed at your own home." I chuckled and rolled my eyes.
"It's fine, I don't mind. Because as long that I am doing what is my job, I shouldn't be afraid of any rumors that is circulating around the capital." I explained and taking a sip at my coffee.
The coffee is really nice, and this is the last at my list for this day, I can finally rest and laze around my room.
But at least, even my sister attempt to hurt me, I still manage to make a good deal, and to have a new business partner.
"It's good working with you, Sir Warren." I shake his hands and he nods, looking at my whole face and still blushing around.
"See you soon, just don't hesitate to ask me if you need something, and I will be there." Warren said, and I let go his hand.
He left the room, and I lean back at the sofa. Thinking what will happen at the trial for what Hannah did lately.
Their plans, attempting to kill me for the second time didn't succeed.
I am smiling from ear to ear, because a lot of people saw what Hannah tried to do. Even the emperor already know what his precious daughter attempt lately.
Now she will undergo a trial, because of how the marquees saw that Princess Hannah refused to admit her mistakes, and now she is being a hot topic at the whole palace.
"I am alright, I feel good today." I said while walking around my room, and looking at the pile of papers that I finished last night.
I didn't sleep after her attempts, and now. All I have to do is rest for today, but my anxiety isn't helping me.
My works are getting more, and the Duke is also busy at the moment, traveling at the other country, because my father instructed him to travel.
I think they are planning to break the engagement, and I will anticipate that if their plan didn't work this time, they will become more eager to pull me down.
And I have a feeling that they will involve some men, and use the people that they hate.
"I need to instruct Sir William to become more careful when he's with me." I pull the pen and paper.
I was writing down my message for Sir William, when I feel the presence of a man behind my back, and slowly kissed my neck.
"You're here, how did you manage to sneak around while the guards is here?" I asked, and Akeldama didn't respond, but hugging my back.
"Hide your presence, they might find you here." I said and he finally let go, and look at my face.
"I miss you, I see that you're getting busier because of your responsibilities, but I am a bit sad that we can't fool around, like before." He handed me a box of sweets, and a tea.
"Let's eat, I want you to relax for tonight, and I will stay here with you, is that okay?" He asked and I smile sweetly. That's true, I need to calm down and rest after a long day that is full if stress.
"Alright, let's eat and relax a bit." I finish the letter and seal it. I will send this tomorrow, and I will wait for the trial day, and I don't know what I should feel.
Akeldama prepared the sweets that he bring, brew some tea for him and coffee for me. He looked serious while making some coffee, and the sweets really looks nice and I want to eat them all right now.
"I didn't know that you like sweets." I look at Akeldama, who is still busy at my coffee, like he is concentrating.
"Indeed, I love some sweets, and most of the time, I ate them all after a long and tiring day, it helps me to relax when there is sweets." He said and finally gave the sweets and coffee for me.
"I practiced when I am gone for almost a year, and went on a mission, for my betterment." I looked at Akeldama before taking a bite at the cookies.
"My mission there was to become better, and to slay the dragon that is terrorizing the whole country, because their hero can't slay the dragon." I nod and still listening carefully to his adventure and experiences while he is away from me.
"The reward is this," he said and showed the book, and it's a book that is unfamiliar to me.
"That is the list of countries at the north, and the family trees of each ruler of countries at the north, I think it might help you to find your origin." I gladly accept the book and look at Akeldama.
He is blushing hard right now, and looked away from me after realizing that his words seems like he's too in love with me.
"Thank you, I didn't know that you went on a mission just because of my curiosity at my mother." That's true, even sage Azriel can't find a better trace of my mother.
Northern people is really hard to find and just like how my mother, even the emperor can't find her real identity, or it's just my father isn't that interested to my mother's background.
"Anything for my queen, I will do it." Akeldama kissed my hands, looking at my eyes and I smile sweetly to him.
He really put a lot of effort, just to give what a want. He even went on a mission, why?
"You always surprise me, Akeldama."
"I will keep on surprising my queen, because that's my job." I kissed Akeldama, and wrap my arms around his neck.
Akeldama's hand went at my back, gently caressing while kissing me, almost taking my breath and stop for a second.
