The afternoon passed by quickly. The duo exchanging sword swings could not even tell how quickly the day had passed. They had only focused on the sword swings that nothing else had mattered.
The crowd saw how determined they were to continue fighting to not be able to continue. Even now, the blades of had become flashes that no one could understand but people were still getting enlightenment. Finally, the last sword swing of the daytime came around.
"Nighttime?" The crowd looked around.
Even Rex and the Jeweled Eye Fighter both wondered why it was like that. Had they forgotten to just end the fight or were they honestly trying to and never got a chance to but was scary was that both felt the same way.
As the crowd began to murmur about what was about to happen. Rex and the Jeweled Eye Fighter both understood one thing.
The Demon King of Annihilation form makes the standings equal. In normal forms, the force of the swings and punches goes to the Jeweled Eye Fighter. Other than that, their stats are almost equal.
"Let us go and rest. We will figure out in the morning how we finish the fight." Rex said.
Although neither one of them wanted to. They needed to eat and get some sleep. This allowed them to truly rest and see what stats Rex truly has.
Rex was indeed tired because he had just finished his Quest for the Stairway Conscious and immediately entered the Fourth Heavenly Realm.
The force of the attacks may not have affected Rex has much in his human form and the Demon King of Annihilation form would give him the victory that it was so needed.
Just like at lunch, the crowd brought food to him. This truly made the Jeweled Eye Fighter jealous of Rex and his influence. He wished even more so was that he had gotten into his place now.
The peacefully night of rest was not so peaceful for the duo. Rex had slept a little bit before people could not help but wake him up to learn more about his fighting styles.
Even the Jeweled Eye Fighter kept waking up because he felt that something was trying to bug him during the night.
Since neither one got a decent night's rest. They postponed the fight for a day. To which everyone was joyous that Rex would be spending the day with them.
The Jeweled Eye Fighter took his ruby eyes out. He truly looked at them and felt that this was a bad time to not use them. He wanted to see how powerful he truly was without them.
He went looking for beasts and a certain group slowly followed him to ensure that everything would be alright.
The Jeweled Eye Fighter first fought against a bear. It was an easy win but it felt too easy for the Jeweled Eye Fighter without his ruby eyes.
He continued to look and search for beasts. The group following him took the beast and hid it inside a storage ring. This was to help provide enough food for the day. Of course, they would allow the Jeweled Eye Fighter to choose his food first.
The next beast a large boar. It had six tusks fur that looked like a porcupine and blood shot eyes that seemed to follow everything.
"Been a while since I have seen or fought against a Poisonious Boar." The Jeweled Eye Fighter was smiling crazily.
Instead of running towards the boar, instead the Jeweled Eye Fighter ran away trying to lead it towards a massive tree.
The boar did not follow the Jeweled Eye Fighter but instead ran in the opposite direction.
The Jeweled Eye Fighter was furious that that the boar did not follow. It knew where most predators led its kin to to kill them.
The boar then hunckered down to allow the Jeweled Eye Fighter to try and take him there. The Jeweled Eye Fighter also knew that the underbelly was it's only weakness. There the skin was the softness and most vulnerable.
Instead the Jeweled Eye Fighter left the boar to its own demise. The ground also held a beast that liked the boar meat.
When the Jeweled Eye Fighter left, the boar sensed the ground trembled. It immediately darted another location. Where the boar was, a massive snake appeared there.
The Jeweled Eye Fighter knew that the boar was truly smart and not some dumb boar anymore. It had led the snake there to be killed him and now there was no mistaking it.
"Do fool for daring to ruin my meal." The snake spoke.
It then lunged towards him. The Jeweled Eye Fighter now was on the defense against a massive snake that was tricked by a smart boar.
"If only I had a little help now." The Jeweled Eye Fighter was angered.
Since he was not using his ruby eyes he could not tell that help was around the corner. The woman who loved Deathholder gave a clean head slice to the weak spot on the snake.
The Jeweled Eye Fighter now put his ruby eyes back in. There he saw the prisoners who were supposed to be the frontlines helping him.
"We followed you to ensure your safe return so that the fight could finish properly. We will put the snake into a storage ring and use it has meals for the day. Also, the bear you killed we already claimed it." The woman spoke.
"I must thank you all for helping me. I guess at my age I am becoming more prone to using my ruby eyes." The Jeweled Eye Fighter spoke.
No one said anything and once the snake was collected. The group went back to the campsite. Ensuring that everyone returned safe and sound that left.
