As the Jeweled Eye Fighter walked back with the prisoners. He could not help but think to finish the fight with Rex as soon as possible.
As soon the group arrived in the camp, the other cultivators began to strip the meat and save the skin of the two beasts.
The reason was because the beasts were already hard to hunt even with the groups but even the Jeweled Eye Fighter could fight both of them single-handedly showing his strength to the others.
To the others it was not just a simple feat of defeating these beasts it was simply absurd and the prisoners explained that the Jeweled Eye Fighter had been able to do it by himself for the most part.
The crowd did not even blink at the prisoners speaking. Now they truly believed that no matter what they would allow the Jeweled Eye Fighter to do what he wanted. They now believed that only Rex could handle him.
No one dared to keep him away from Rex now. No one wanted to get on either one's bad side.
"Hey Demon King. When are we going to finish the fight by chance?" The Jeweled Eye Fighter yelled across the plains.
The sigh that came from Rex's mouth was enough to tell the people how he felt about today.
"We will finish the fight tomorrow. Unless you have another reason to fight now and have the fight end like yesterday." Rex yelled back.
The rest of the day the crowd allowed the duo to rest and to do what they needed to do for the day.
When it came to supper time, the duo both sat down in front of each and the crowd allowed them to be able to talk about what every they wanted.
The crowd was truly ready to see the finale of the fight and cheer for whoever won the fight. In their eyes, the only winner would be Rex. Even the Jeweled Eye Fighter believed that.
The night passed without any trouble. Once the dawn of the new day came around both Rex and the Jeweled Eye Fighter both were ready to finish the fight that started the other day.
"When the sun peaks, we will eat and then begin shortly after." Rex told the Jeweled Eye Fighter.
As people began cooking breakfast which consisted of the rest of the bear and snake. The people ensured that their meals were cooked and kept near the fire.
Once the sun was completely peaked, the duo ate quickly and just enough to have something on their stomach.
Normally, this would have been a bad decision. Rex knew that without a good breakfast neither one would be able to fight properly.
"Come and fight." The Jeweled Eye Fighter spoke after five minutes of rest after eating.
Rex got up and the duo went back to the plains.
The duo brought out their swords. The two then dashed towards each other. Flashes of white and gold could only be seen. Neither one trying to finish the other right now only testing each other.
No one could believe this. Even now that Rex was rested he could keep up with the Jeweled Eye Fighter. Even the Stairway Conscious did not know how he was able to do that.
What truly surprised her was the fact that neither one was truly fighting for the win. They were just content in fighting each other just to see if the other could keep up.
"I need to see if there is a way to keep him close by to me." Rex's thoughts between blows.
The day passed again without a winner. Neither one had the energy now to walk to the camp. The women here helped Rex and the Jeweled Eye Fighter to the camp.
It was not that any man did not want to go help but Oracle Aina did not allow any man to touch either one. This only brought displeasure to them but knowing that she was one of the women closest to Rex no man desired to incure his wrath.
Once the women were done seating the duo. Laughter was quickly heard around the camp. Rex and the Jeweled Eye Fighter now understood why they could not kill each other.
The reason was simply they valued people who could push them to their limits and did not care about the aftereffects.
"Come with me. We will fight at the highest peaks we can and at the lowest places. There will be good times and bad times but we will have each other to lean on." Rex told the Jeweled Eye Fighter inbetween his bites of food.
"Then I shall. Although, I will always try to hurt your women whom unlocked me because that is my curse. I will do my best not to hurt them unless I can find a way around it." The Jeweled Eye Fighter spoke.
"You said your curse is just to hurt them?" Rex had to ensure that this was correct.
"That is the basics of my curse. If it fully develops, then I will have to kill them. I do not want them to die since it has brought us closer together." The Jeweled Eye Fighter spoke as truthfully as he could.
"Can the curse be weakened by our fighting?"
The Jeweled Eye Fighter did not know and the Demon God was also unaware if the curse could be weakened by that.
The crowd began to walk back to where they came from. Since this matter was truly between the duo, they hoped that the Jeweled Eye Fighter would be under control now.
In the deepest part of where the Jeweled Eye Fighter was sealed a glowing red seal could now be seen. The Jeweled Eye Fighter would have known that as the innate destroyer for not doing what he was supposed to do.
The innate destroyer went to the Fourth Heavenly Realm in the form of a spider. It could become a chameleon like creature to ensure the death of the Jeweled Eye Fighter.
