"Dad! Mom! Where are you!!" Bai Lingmiao cried as she searched the whole Niuxin Village with tears streaming down her face.
Behind her was Li Huowang, following her as she searched, even though he could see that, apart from the two of them, there really wasn't anyone else in the whole village.
Just then, Top Scholar Lv approached with a cautious smile.
"What on earth is going on?" Li Huowang asked, frowning, turning to Top Scholar Lv who had arrived before him.
Top Scholar Lv looked entirely innocent. "Daoist Master, how would I know? When I got here, there wasn't a single soul in the village."
"I even found it strange myself. Thought maybe this old man had gotten the location wrong, so I went searching all around for miles, but after scouring all of Niuxin Mountain, this was the only place I found."
Hearing this, Li Huowang said nothing further. He took a deep breath and strode toward Bai Lingmiao in the distance.
