It's still 100 Power Stones for an extra chapter!
P.S - If we reach this number but I haven't updated which means I'm asleep and will upload it by the time I woke up.

The next morning was unbearably awkward, and Ai showed up for breakfast.
When I started a conversation, honestly, I was half expecting her to ignore me entirely, as I have experienced most girls do when they're dissatisfied with you and want you to make up for it, but won't tell you because apparently it was our job to figure it out.
But she didn't; she talked back, but her way of speaking was like someone talking to an acquaintance rather than someone close.
"Is there anything wrong, Alexander-san?"
"Ugh…why are you talking like that?"
"Whatever you mean, Alexander-san?" Ai acted oblivious, but she knew damn well what she was doing.
I want to point it out, but I knew instinctively that if I did that, something way worse would happen, so I decided to keep my mouth shut and let her do the thing.
"Nothing." This feels so pathetic; no, it is pathetic, especially for someone like me.
I have all the power in the world, but can't handle one girl, apparently.
"Alright."
For a minute, silence dominated the entire dining room, except for the moving chopsticks.
Then I felt someone staring at me. I looked up and saw that it was my children who were in their respective baby strollers with their respective Pokémon.
Aqua was looking at me with his signature deadpan face, a perfect picture of someone disappointed.
Meanwhile, Ruby wasn't hiding her glare at all, like she was trying to vaporize me with her eyes if she could.
With an expression that said this very word. 'You scum, how dare you cheat on mom!'
I could only smile wryly at their expression, then shifted my attention back to their mother. "So, do you want me to take you to your workplace?"
"No." She replied calmly.
Just like that, the conversation for the day ended.

At school, during lunch break.
I let out a massive sigh.
Which was quickly noticed by my only male friend in this school.
"What's with the long face?" Sora asked.
I stared back at him, who now looked pretty fresh. The makeover did make his appearance better.
Before, no one really paid attention to him. He's smart, but he looks mid, and most people pay more attention to his sister.
He was more pleasing to the eye, but today a lot of people turned their heads at Sora.
It was like seeing him for the first time, because they found him attractive, especially the girls who used to ignore his presence entirely and only ever asked him if they wanted help with their assignments.
After changing a bit of his looks, he wasn't inferior to the rest of the pretty boys in the school, with the only exception of me.
But despite the attention he was getting, he ignored them exactly the way they did before his change.
After all, he didn't want to associate with shallow people like them.
While the attention was nice, he didn't let it get into his head.
Seeing the look of concern, I decided to tell him through a hypothetical question. "Sora, what do you think of a man who has a harem?"
Before I could continue, Sora bluntly stated. "I think he should die."
I became speechless at his quick answer, then ignored it and continued telling him exactly the same situation I was in, but through this hypothetical man rather than myself.
After hearing the full story, Sora's face was filled with contempt. "Oh, I take it back; for that kind of man, death is way too easy!'
Once again, telling him my issue was a mistake.
What did I expect, sympathy?
But then again, hearing it from an outsider's perspective, it does make me look like an irredeemable bastard.
If it wasn't me, I would surely think that this guy is trash.
However, Sora wasn't stupid and knew this so-called 'man' was me.
"I think that man should apologize and admit his mistakes; surely the woman would forgive him." Sora gave me his honest opinion.
I let out a snort; easy for him to say. If apologizing makes things magically better, then I would.
But I know that apologizing was the least that could fix this mess; however, it does have its merit. I should buy something in the shop later.
"Anyway, what's your progress with that girl from my company?" I decided to change the subject.
After saying that, my friend's face turned red, and he answered. "Well, she asked me out for a date later."
My eyes widened at that; I did not expect her to be that fast. I know she's interested in him, but damn, the girl is quick.
But at the same time, I was glad at this girl's boldness because if it was up to Sora, it would probably take him months, if not a year, to ask her out.
In a way, their chemistry with each other is good.
"Did you accept?" This was the most important thing; if he refused, then their relationship would regress to merely acquaintances.
"Of course! Why wouldn't I?! This was the first time I was asked out for a date!"
Good thing that he did, then, with a confident smile on my face, I said. "So, when is this date going to happen?"
"Today, afternoon," Sora admitted.
"Then, let your buddy give you tips as someone who is an expert at this." And so I taught him everything that he needed to do and not do on a date.
And I guarantee that it will be a success.

After school ended, I decided to call my other friend whom I haven't seen in a while, and that friend was naturally Subaru Natsuki.
However, my phone told me that I couldn't reach him due to an insufficient signal.
But that's ridiculous, because my phone is directly connected to the best satellite in Japan right now.
It would be understandable if the person didn't answer my call, but this was clearly a signal problem, which is ridiculous.
I would rather believe that something went wrong with Subaru's phone than my signal being unable to contact him.
There are a few things that could stop my signal from reaching him, and one of them is that the person I called went to a very isolated location where the satellite couldn't reach him at all.
Or his phone is broken.
The first scenario is ridiculous; why would a shut-in like Subaru go to a far-away place like that?
And the second one was most likely to happen.
But…if it's one of the above, then there could only be 'that' which explains why I couldn't reach him at all.
What shitty timing; I barely interacted with the guy, and he already got isekai'd?
To confirm this, I used my ability [ Path To Victory ] to find my way to his location.
And fair enough, the first thing it showed me was to go back to Clocktower and find Kischur Zelretch Schweinorg and the conditions for making him agree to send me off to that world.
It wasn't the only option either; there's also the less complicated way, which was asking D herself.
There's also another path which is simpler than the rest, which is to go to the shop, then ask Echidna to bring me to her world.
This confirmed that her worldline is the same as my Subaru's.
Either way, this proved that Subaru Natsuki isn't in this world anymore.
Now this made me think about whether my presence changed anything in what was originally going to be the Envy route, which was the main timeline.
While I was thinking about the implications of the changing timeline, I realized that Subaru just got transported to another world and his parents don't know about it yet.
Normally I wouldn't really interfere with this kind of thing, but since they're the parents of my admittedly few true friends, I acknowledge it.
I decided to inform them; however, ver I can't just say it to their faces that Subaru got isekai'd because I'd be labeled as a weirdo.
For now, I will let them figure it out themselves; after that, I'll show myself at their doors and bring them something that could show them how their child lives.
I apologized to Subaru in my heart in advance because after I gave it to his parents, he would no longer have any privacy.

At Old Laguna,
Subaru suddenly shivered for no reason. "What the heck was that?"
Then quickly got over it, did his iconic pose, and pointed his finger at the sky, screaming. "I, Subaru Natsuki, will surely reach the peak of this world!"
After saying that, the people around looked at him strangely, making him embarrassed in return.
Either way, he was finally going to become the protagonist he always wanted to be.
But little did he know, his suffering was about to begin.

A/N: Condolences; he's a protagonist alright, but in a dark fantasy isekai.
