Melody wanted to tell Ian that Evan Fairchild was his father.
But for some reason, the boy suddenly had another thought and cut her off.
Ian ran over to Melody, holding a box.
"What's this?"
"A piggy bank!" Ian opened the box. "On my way back from kindergarten today, I had Auntie Claire Walsh take me to buy it. I used my own money."
Melody looked at the little piggy bank, wondering why Ian would buy such a thing.
"Ian's going to save up lots of money to help Mommy buy a big house!"
Melody couldn't help but smile, ruffling Ian's hair. "Okay! You can do it, sweetie! But where did you get the money?"
"Yeah! Auntie Claire Walsh said Mr. Fairchild gives me 10,000 a month for allowance! I'm going to save all of it."
Melody was stunned. 'Evan Fairchild is giving Ian 10,000 for allowance? 10,000 a month?'
'Even if that amount was nothing to Evan Fairchild, Ian was just a child. He had no use for that much money!'
