"Hello, we're with the hotel staff. Is there anyone in the room?"

"Rose!" a voice called out.

Hearing that voice, and the name "Rose," made her hair stand on end.
Keith Coleman stepped out from behind the hotel employee and said to them, "Thank you. My friend hasn't come out of her room for two days and two nights, and I was getting really worried."
"Is there anything else, sir?"
"No, that's all."
"Very good, sir."
Once the staff member left, Keith Coleman quickly put his hand on the door, afraid Rose Shaw would lock him out again.
