Loo Jinyang didn't buy it at all.
Loo Yao wanted to use their mother to force Loo Jinyang to say things against his will.

He didn't even give them a word and walked away directly.

Mother Loo called him back, turning her back to Loo Yao, her face completely filled with anger. She lowered her voice to control her temper, "Your brother is asking you a question. Didn't you hear him? Do you really want to turn brother against brother and bring unrest to the home?"

Mother Loo's expression became slightly obscure, probably because her earlier accusations didn't hold, and she softened her tone, "Yao Yao has always wanted to see you.
