Throwing Xue Li to the back of her mind, Yang Lifei landed her gaze on the man who was leaning on the door while looking at her. She knew that her request was absurd but she had decided to be shameless, she wanted to take advantage of every situation there was every time.
"Shall we?" She asked with a raised eyebrow, amusement evident in her voice.
Jin Chen only sighed and made his way towards the bed scooping her towards the bathroom. What could he do? This is what he had always dreamt of, pampering his beloved and spoiling her rotten. He didn't have any good time giving Yang Lifei a bath with such an exquisite woman naked in front of him. Seeing him in such a difficult situation while trying his best to control himself, Yang Lifei decided to relieve him but with a different way, her hands.
Seeing her being so considerate, Jin Chen was amused. She clearly knew what she was putting him through and she was now being considerate. Yang Lifei had no intention of doing anything even after being given a bath by Jin Chen. Her daily routine of smearing body lotion and all the girly stuffs were all done by Jin Chen including putting on clothes.
She was actually surprised when she saw all the cosmetics that she liked in Jin Chen's room. Even the way she used then was no different. How did he find out? She had no idea.
"Are you a stalker?" She asked since she was sure that Jin Chen wasn't reborn like her. Then how did he know all about this. He had helped her several times in her past life whenever they were intimate since she would always be angry with him and he would do that to appease her. But since he wasn't reborn like her, how does he know all these things?
"No, why?"
"All the clothes here are according to my taste and preferences. The cosmetics and the jewelry too. And you clearly know how I like to use them, so how?"
"Oh that? I know everything about you from looking out for you if you call it that way and some of those things I knew from your family. The familiarity with the, I don't know. It just came naturally," he replied while buttoning up his shirt that she was wearing. She had refused to put on her clothes saying they were only meant when she was going out and she would wear his clothes when inside the house.
It came natural? Does that mean it came natural because he did it in their previous life? She was shocked. How could it be? And her family, seems like he was close to them much to her lack of knowledge. Were they selling her information to Jin Chen without her knowing? That sounded like something her mother would do since she was responsible for her clothes, jewelries and even cosmetics. Her father? He wouldn't. How could he do that to his daughter? Her brother, that would be possible because he would do anything that would make his sister happy.
Seeing her lost in thoughts again, "What's wrong?"
"Nothing, I was just thinking how natural you did that. Like it's something you're used to doing and it's not your first time." Yang Lifei explained her thoughts though she knew the story.
"I'm surprised too. Do you want me to show you around?" He decided to change the topic seeing the sadness in the girls eye. Like she was going to cry any moment.
"Sure, I'd love to," though she knew the inside out of this penthouse. They had stayed here most of the time in their previous life more than at the Villa that he owned. She was thinking of calling her parents after the tour because they hadn't talked since she left the engagement party with Jin Chen the other day. Knowing that to they had a good relationship with Jin Chen, they wouldn't call her.
"Hop on," Jin Chen turned his back towards Yang Lifei and lowered himself so she could easily climb on his back. Since she didn't want to want, he would give her a piggy back while showing her around. Yang Lifei easily climbed on his back without further ado.
The house was just like she knew in her past life. Like most guys would decorate their houses with dull colours of black, white and grey, Jin Chen's house had a different vibe in it with almost different shades of blue and maroon. Yes, she liked colour blue and maroon. Just when did he start paying attention to her? She had no idea since she never cared about it in her past life and never asked. The only thing she knew was that he was the one who had requested for the arranged marriage between them.
The fluffy pillows on the sofa, the carpet, the sofas, curtains, even the glass coffee table had a touch of maroon in it. The utensils in the kitchen as well. She was really appreciating this man's thoughtfulness. He wanted to make her feel comfortable so he did all this yet she never appreciated him back then. It took her a while lifetime to realize it.
Seeing that she was being overcome by her overwhelming emotions again, she spoke. "No servants?" She knew this too but had forced h back then to hire some maids. She had felt that it was too boring to live in a house without any servants since she had to everything on her own. Xue Li had told her that she came from a rich family so she shouldn't do anything by herself.
"No. This will be our home in the future so I don't want anyone intruding. Aunt Zhang from the Villa do come sometimes to clean and restock the necessities needed. For our food, I'll cook for us but if you're not okay with that, we'll eat out or order takeaway," he explained very patiently while they were watching TV on the sofa. He knew she couldn't cook even if she was the only surviving human on earth.
"No problem, I wouldn't get bored with your food since you've put in so much thought in it," she teased with a smile. So she had ruined their private life back then because of Xue Li's advices? She really wanted her to go against him everytime.
