"I'm sure that you all know why we have gathered here."
There was a heavy mood that hung over this room when the one leading the meeting said this.
Everyone that had been sitting at the table naturally knew why they were gathered here because this wasn't a meeting that one could attend unless they were qualified to do so.
Not to mention that the qualifications to join this meeting were quite strict.
They were the current leaders of this world.
All of them were the leaders of their respective countries, people that normally would have been too busy to gather for a meeting like this.
If it wasn't for how urgent this matter was, they never would have all been gathered in the same room like this.
Just the fact that they were here showed how seriously they took this.
But then again, it was hard to treat it seriously when it was foretold as the end of the world.
