After all, this really wasn't the way that I had expected things to go.
If it wasn't for that decision that I made to create heroes, then it really would have become a bad situation.
It wasn't as if I didn't understand what they were thinking.
No one wanted a single organization to hold all the power when it came to a crisis like this. It gave them too much power over the people and it would force them into a very awkward position.
Even if it was a unified religion that was accepted in all the countries, even if that religion had a good reputation, it wasn't something that they could accept that easily.
Eventually power corrupts and even saints aren't immune.
Which was why it was necessary to split up the power to a certain extent.
It was just that heroes really weren't on the same level as those that could use holy magic.
