With Kaneki joining Itsuki's group to hang out after school, they made their way to a Manga store.
Kaneki: Stare~
???: Um... Higanbana?
Kaneki: That's... A lot of girl characters and isn't this one a kid?
They had all arrived at a nearby manga store, but upon arriving Kaneki was staring at the front of the store with a confused look.
This was due to seeing many female characters from cutouts to figurines.
Kaneki: Oh there's some guys as well.
Itsuki: I thought it would be a great idea that we check out some Manga's.
???: Are you sure about this Itsuki? He probably doesn't even read-
Kaneki: The only Manga's I've ever read were ones made by Demon Knight's and Itsuki's own Manga's. Oh and a few shonen Manga's with fights so I could mimic them.
Itsuki: Ahem~ as you all heard, Kaneki has onle read a few manga and never really enjoyed them.
Kaneki: Oi! I loved reading Demon Knight Manga! They help me find relics with my friends back in the day.
Itsuki: But do you appreciate the characters stories and struggles? Or even the creators work in general?
Kaneki: Eh? What are you talking about?
Itsuki: See this guy only read for hints that leads to relics, and to mimic techniques. He doesn't enjoy the stories at all.
Kaneki: I am so confused right now.
???: I see, in that case let's recommend him some stories so he could enjoy them?
Itsuki: Something like that.
Kaneki: Heh!
Kaneki smirked as Itsuki said that.
Keita: Why are you smirking?
Kaneki: Nothing. What Itsuki said was something similar to what Natsuki told me when she saw my own manga collection.
???: Seriously dude?
???: Well if that's the case now's a good time to start right?
Kaneki: Hmm... Yeah I guess you're right.
Itsuki: Good it's decided. Let's go in.
All 8: Got it.
And so the group went into the Manga store and were warmly greeted by the store's clerk.
Mei: Oh isn't it Hayakawa-kun and friends.
All 8: Hey Mei-san.
Mei was the store clear who Itsuki and his group would meet when they buy Manga's.
Mei: So what kind of Manga's are you all searching for today? We have some newly serialized Manga's and we even recently opened a new light novel section as well.
Itsuki: Mei-san do you have any good Shounen Manga that has very light of "fan-service"?
Mei: That's surprising, you boys usually like a lot of fan-service.
Itsuki: Oh it's not for us.
Point!
Kaneki: Hello.
They guys all pointed at Kaneki, and upon seeing him.
Mei: Eh? EHHHHH?!?!?!
Mei the clerk was very surprised.
Mei: I-Isn't that the Demon Knight boy from a few weeks ago?!
Kaneki: Technically it's almost two weeks ago. But yeah it's me.
Mei: I DIDN'T KNOW YOU GUYS WERE FRIENDS WITH HIM?!
???: Hehe~ sorry about that.
Mei: H-Hello H-Higanbana-san umm..

She then pulled out a small notepad with a pen before nervously asking Kaneki for something.
Mei: C-Can I-I have your autograph? I was a fan of yours for a long time...
She asked for his autograph.
Kaneki: Oh really? Sure then.
Kaneki took the notepad and wrote down his name with a poorly made drawing of himself.
Mei: Thank you! I'll treasure this!
???: Man you're so popular dude.
Kaneki: Well I did unintentionally revealed my identity.
Mei: I didn't know you guys knew him personally.
Itsuki: I know right? I was so surprised when he turned out to be the Hero.
Kaneki: Oi can we stop talking about me now? Weren't you guys going to recommend me some Manga?
Yuta: Oh that's right.
Mei: So the Manga is for him? In that case any manga you boys buy as of right now is on me?
All 9: What?!
Kaneki: No! No way I will not accept that!
???: Yeah Mei-san you don't have to use your money on us.
???: Plus wouldn't the manager be angry?
Mei: It's alright he'll understand why I did it.
After a few minutes of going back and forth with Mei-san, they eventually agreed to Mei treating them to some manga's they picked.
Kaneki: I feel so guilty for her, should I give her some money?
Yuta: Sigh~ Don't even think about it, she'll probably just refused.
???: I like free stuff and all but man I can't believe she actually payed for our manga herself.
Itsuki: Well then! Let's forget about it and start reading!
Kaneki: Where exactly are we going to read?
Itsuki: there's a Happilybee nearby, we can read there for a bit and as a bonus we can eat some burgers.
???: I could go for a burger.
???: Same here.
Keita: Are we going to be using our own money though?
All 8: Yes.
Kaneki: Good we all agree, let's go.
They then went to the restaurant so they could grab a snack and read their manga's.
10 minutes later~
After arriving at the restaurant, the group sat down at their tables after making their orders.
And they were about to start reading.
Kaneki: ... What kind of Manga is this?
???: Oh so that's what you've picked? Let me tell you that's a good one.
Itsuki: Really? What did you pick Kaneki?
Kaneki showed off his manga on the middle of the table where the entire group could see it.
Kaneki: This one it's called: Me and My Childhood friend were the Hero and Demon Queen in our past life.
???: Oh this one is a romance manga.
Kaneki: Really? Now wonder this cover looked interesting.
Itsuki: Understandable.
The cover of Kaneki's manga had two high school students, one boy and one girl hugging with their shadows depicted as a warrior and a demon seemingly fighting.
Kaneki: Oh well time to start reading I guess.
Kaneki then took his manga back and started reading.
10 Minutes later~
Kaneki: "Hehe~ you're still the dummy hero from before" huh...
Kaneki had a very surprised expression ok his face as he was reading.
???: So how is it?
Kaneki: I'm very surprised, I expected these two to well hate each other but turns out in their past life they were actually pretty close.
???: I know right? It's so sa-
Grip!
Itsuki: Oi don't spoil it for Kaneki.
???: Oops sorry.
As Kaneki was reading until their orders had came.
Waiter: Here's your order.
All 9: Thank you.
They all then took their burgers and ate them while reading.
10 Minutes later~
After eating in the restaurant the group left and Kaneki was the most active amongst them.
Kaneki: Wow I actually liked this story, it's so... What's it called I think there's a word to describe it.
Keita: Wholesome?
Kaneki: Yeah that's the word.
???: I'm surprised you actually liked it.
Kaneki: Honestly same here, and I like how Shizu-san is actually conflicted about being childhood friends with Hiro-san.
Those were the named of the two main characters of the manga he read.
Kaneki: I'll read the rest later, seriously I really like this one. Now what do you guys do aside from reading manga?
???: There's a bowling alley we go to, you might like it. And it's really close by.
Kaneki: Bowling? I haven't played that before.
???: In that case let us teach you.
Kaneki: Okay then!
With Kaneki's mood a lot better than before the group went to the bowling alley to play.
A few minutes later~
Kaneki: So this is the bowling alley?
Kaneki looked around and was surprised with how big the place was.
Itsuki: Yo Kaneki here take these.
Itsuki approached him and handed him two black and red shoes.
Kaneki: Shoes?
Itsuki: These a bowling shoes, you need to wear them.
Kaneki: Um okay?
After putting his shoes the guys began teaching him how to bowl in the simplest way possible.
???: You just need to knock as many pins down as possible, the more you knock down the higher your score.
Kaneki: I see, I think I get it.
Itsuki: Here take this ball.
Itsuki handed Kaneki one of the bowling balls and Kaneki was surprised with how heavy it was.
Kaneki: Woah it's surprisingly heavy.
Keita: Okay now to the lane overthere and knock those pins down.
Kaneki: Wait how do I do it exactly?
Itsuki: Just watch me.
Itsuki then demonstrated how to throw the bowling ball.
Knock!
And he successfully knocked down 7 pins.
Keita: Nice Itsuki!
Kaneki: Ooh~ I see.
Itsuki: wait a moment Kaneki, I'll knock down the remaining pins so it could reset.
Knock!
After knocking down the remaining pins, it had reset and new 10 pins were standing.
Kaneki: Okay time to do this.
Kaneki gripped the bowling ball tightly before stepping back a few steps.
Kaneki: Haa~
Swoosh!
He then moved quickly preparing for to throw and roll the ball.
But as he moved forward very quickly.
All 8: KANEKI/HIGANBANA! DON'T CROSS THE LINE!
Kaneki: Huh?
Step!
Slip!
Kaneki had stepped over the line on the bowling lane and slipped.
Kaneki: Woah!
Crack!
Slam!
Thud!
The slip caused him to fall on his legs, crack a few bones and hitting his head on the floor.
And to make things worse, he accidentally let go of the bowling ball after falling sending it through the ceiling directly above him.
Kaneki: Ahhh.... That hur-
Bash!
And said bowling ball had fallen back down onto his head.
Itsuki: Shit! Kaneki!
???: Are you okay?!
The guys went to him worried but as the ball rolled off Kaneki's face he had a very disappointed look on it.
Kaneki: I'm okay this is nothing. But why the hell did you guys not tell me about the line?
Itsuki: Ohhh... Sorry we forgotto mention that.
Kaneki: Sigh~ Just a moment.
Glow~!
Kaneki used his powers of creation to fix the whole he had made in the ceiling.
Kaneki: No one is allowed to talk about this, got it?
All 8: Yessir!
Kaneki: Good. You guys go first I'm going to clean myself up in the bathroom.
Because of his fall his clothes were covered in the oil that was in the lane so he had to clean them by igniting himself in the bathroom.
A few minutes later~
Kaneki: Okay! Let's do this again!
After cleaning himself, Kaneki went back to the bowling lane to attempt to knock the pins down again, and this time.
Knock!
Kaneki: Yes! That's better!
???: Seriously?!
???: 10 Pins on his second attempt?!
Kaneki: Awesome!
He had perfectly knocked down 10 pins.
All 8: Seriously?!
The guys were all surprised with Kaneki's luck and Kaneki began to challenge them.
Kaneki: Oi! Let's do a competition!
All 8: Bring it!
30 minutes later~
After a while 30 minutes of playing, Kaneki and the group had finished and left the building as it was getting really late.
Kaneki: That was so much fun! So what now?
???: Well it is getting late we should be heading home.
???: Yeah but before that should we go get some drinks? I'm a bit thirsty after that game.
Kaneki: Agreed! Let's go get some drinks! I'm pretty sure there's a vending machine nearby.
Itsuki: Good let's go then.
The group went over to a nearby vending machine to get drinks before they all go home.
Gulp~!
Kaneki: Haa~ nothing like a good soda.
???: Heh! This hangout was a bit more fun than I expected.
Kaneki: Agreed also you guys better not talk about my accident to anyone.
???: We don't need to because I'm pretty sure someone took a video of it.
Kaneki: Oh well nothing I can do about it then.
???: Who knows it might become viral.
Kaneki: Oh no... I can already see it hahaha!
???: For someone who doesn't want us to tell anyone, you sure seem to enjoy seeing your accident yourself.
Kaneki: Honestly I think I don't care right now, oh yeah when the ball hit my face it actually really hurt.
???: Yeah those balls are heavy as heck.
Kaneki: Itsuki thanks for inviting me to this hang out, I'm actually considering to join you guys next time.
Itsuki: No probs.
???: Hey what about tomorrow let's do a little game at lunch.
Kaneki: Game?
???: Oh that? Sure.
Kaneki: What are they talking about Itsuki?
Itsuki: Oh we actually play games with some toys sometimes, the one they're talking about is Topblades. It's basically a game where you spin two metal tops in a small arena until one either gets thrown out, stops spinning or explodes.
Kaneki: Ohhh~ sounds interesting. Can I join?
Itsuki: Sure but you'll need to get your own, though I'm pretty sure there's some being sold in the mall.
Kaneki: I see, I guess I'll go there before I head home. Gulp~! Well then see you guys.
All 8: Bye!
After finishing his drink and placing the bottle in the trashcan, Kaneki left to buy the toy they were mentioning.
???: Heh. Looks like we're going to have a new member of our circle huh?
Itsuki: Yup. I just hope those girls don't get jealous of us though.
???: Yeah that would definitely be scary, mostly Mizutani-san.
Meanwhile~

Kaneki: Alright time to see what these Topblades are.
Kaneki had arrived at the Mall's toy store and started looking for the toy that was mentioned to him.
