Kaneki: I'm Home~
After hanging out with the boys from his class for a while, Kaneki had returned home just in time for dinner.
All 4: Welcome home.
After his family happily greeted him, Miku went towards him to ask how his outing went.
Miku: So how did your outing with the boys go, Onii-chan?
Miku had a bit of worry showing in her face, but with a bright smile Kaneki answered honestly.
Kaneki: It went better than expected, although I did had a little accident haha~ yeah I accidentally hit my head with a bowling ball.
Miku: Seriously?!
Kaneki: Don't worry it was mostly my own fault for not reading, other than that it was all fun. Here look.
Kaneki took his bag and showed Miku the two new things he had bought.
Miku: Oh is that a Manga? "Me and My Childhood friend were the Hero and Demon Queen in our past life." That's interesting.
Kaneki: I know right? I'm going to continue reading this later at my room, once I'm done reading it I could lend it to you.
Miku: Sure I guess, it does sound interesting.
Atsuo: Kaneki go take a bath, you're full of sweat.
Kaneki: Eh?
Kaneki took a good look at himself and noticed he was in fact covered in sweat.
Kaneki: Wow I really am wet from sweat, okay I'll go take a bath now.
Aiya: Once you're done we're having dinner.
Kaneki: Got it Aiya-Mama.
An hour later~
After taking a bath and eating dinner, Kaneki let Miku borrow his manga so she could catch up to where he was currently at.
Miku: Aww~ these two are really cute with each other.
Kaneki: I know right?
Miku: Although are you sure you want me to catch up?
Kaneki: Yes.
Miku: Okay then.
Miku's thoughts*
(Never would I thought I'd see the day Onii-chan would be interested in a romance story, well I guess there's always a day for something)
Miku quietly read the story and actually liked it as well.
(Wow this is really wholesome, I understand why he liked it)
She enjoyed reading while seeing the art showing the two main characters walking to school.
(Hehe~ this is like how we walk to school)
But after turning the page she saw something a bit unpleasant.
Miku: Eh?
Kaneki: Oh you got to that page huh? Yeah I had same feeling when I got to it.
The scene in the page showed the heroine of the manga going in front of the main character while walking backwards.
Where she tripped and fell causing her feet to accidentally hitting his feet and causing him to fall.
And as one would expect the main character's face landed on her big breast.
Miku: "Fuwa~" was that sound effect really necessary?
Kaneki: Yeah that and the next page is probably my least favorite moment in this manga.
Miku stared at Kaneki with a concerned face and as she turned to the next page.
Miku: ...
She was completely speechless as the next paged was completely in the protagonist's perspective staring at the heroine's face through her two mountains.
Miku: Well... I think that's enough for me now. I'll read again once I've recovered.
Kaneki: Yeah as good as the art is, that part was way too unnecessary.
Both Higanbana siblings were very much uncomfortable with the sight.
Miku's thoughts*
(Itsuki-san I'm going to kill you for this)
Miku: Sigh~ Welp! That was fun, I'm going to take a bath now.
Kaneki: Have fun~
Miku: I will.
Click!
Miku left Kaneki's room to take a bath.
Kaneki: Welp time to continue where I left off.
Knock! Knock!
With Miku now gone, Kaneki was about to go back to where he had last read in his manga when knocking came from his window.
Kaneki: Oh! It's Shino.
Because the other side of his window was facing directly at Shino's home Kaneki knew it could only be her.
He happily approached and opened his window, where he saw Shino looking out from her room while holding a blue pole fork that she used to knock on his window.
Once they saw one another they greeted each other.
Shino: Good evening Kaneki.
Kaneki: Good evening Shino.
Shino: So how did your outing with the boys in your class went?
Kaneki: It went well, oh here take a look I got this manga as well.
Kaneki them showed off his manga to Shino.
Shino: Oh that's interesting.
Kaneki talked about the manga for a bit with Shino and she listened to everything he had said.
Shino: Hehe~ you seem to really enjoy that Kaneki.
Kaneki: Mhmm. You wanna check it out?
Hearing his offer, Shino couldn't help but accept.
Shino: Sure.
Kaneki: Okay, just a moment. I suggest you move out of the way.
Shino: Okay.
Shino moved to the side of her window giving Kaneki some room.
Kaneki hoped onto his window and then.
Kaneki: Hup!
Swoosh!
Kaneki had jumped into Shino's room.
Kaneki: Sorry for jumping in.
Shino: It's alright you're welcome in here anytime.
Shino smiled with Kaneki now in her room.
Kaneki: Here take a look!
And after entering Kaneki immediately showed Shino his manga.
30 minutes later~
Shino: Wow this is such a cute story.
Kaneki was rereading manga again to Shino in her bed right beside her, so she could catch up.
Kaneki: Right? And these two are just secretly fooling around with their old magic.
They happily read until a few minutes later, when they gotten to the same pages where Miku had stopped reading.
Shino: ... Wow.
Kaneki was a bit embarrassed and apologized.
Shino: No it's alright you have nothing to apologize to me for. Beside this is a bit normal for Manga's aimed at people our age. More so for boys, but this one is quite tame.
Kaneki: Wait really?
Shino: Yeah so no need to worry about it.
Kaneki: Okay I guess.
With that out of the way the two continued reading until they reached a page showing the two main characters hugging.
Kaneki: Aww this is cute, right Shino?
Shino: Stare~ ...
Kaneki: Shino?
Shino silently stared at the manga showing the two main characters hugging while having very warm smiles.
Shino's thoughts*
(They look so cute... I want to be like this with Kaneki...)
She too wanted to share such a sweet moment of hugging her childhood friend.
Hug~
Shino: Eh?
And her wish was immediately granted by Kaneki.
Because she was focused on the manga, her guard was down and she hadn't noticed Kaneki getting in front of her.
Because of this he was successfully able to hug her from the front and catching her off guard.
Kaneki: I can tell, you wanted a hug right? So here have a hug from me.
Shino: ... Smile~
Receiving a hug from her childhood friend, her true love, Kaneki made Shino feel very happy and warm inside.
Hug~
So of course she couldn't help but hug him back.
Shino: Thanks Kaneki, this feels really nice.
Kaneki: Yeah same feeling.
The two hugged for a few minutes until they let go of each other.
Kaneki: Well... I'll be heading back now, it is getting late and we have school tomorrow.
Shino: Sure. See you tomorrow, Kaneki.
Kaneki: See ya.

Kaneki got onto Shino's window and jumped back into his room.
Kaneki: Good night Shino! Sweet dreams!
Shino: Good night Kaneki, see you tomorrow.
As the two childhood friends said their good nights they both closed their windows and prepared their rooms and themselves for when they slept.
A while later~
And before sleeping Shino couldn't get Kaneki's words out of her mind.
"I can tell, you wanted a hug right? So here have a hug from me."
(Hehe~ Kaneki is so sweet and warm. I want to feel his warmth forever)
She then happily went to bed.
In Kaneki's room*
Kaneki: Man today was a lot of fun.
Having such a fun day, Kaneki looked forward to the next.
Kaneki: Hehe~ I can't wait.
After saying this he closed his eyes and went to sleep with a warm smile on his face.
The next day~
September 12, 2042*
Kaneki: ALRIIIIIGHT!
After having breakfast Kaneki had gotten out of his house with his two sisters when he suddenly yelled very loudly, which caught both sisters by surprise.
Miku & Kotori: Onii-chan/Kaneki-chan?
Kaneki: Ahh... Sorry about that you two, I'm just excited for today.
Miku: How come? Oh I remember it's your training Day right?
Kaneki: Yup! I can't wait. I have a few ideas with how to use my powers.
Kotori: Good Kaneki-chan! Good!
Kaneki: But. There's something missing.
Kotori: Which is?
Kaneki: WHERE'S MY A LA MODE!
Kotori: Oh Crap... I forgot.
Kaneki: Again? Boo~
Miku: You forgot again? Seriously?
Kotori: Yeah I am so so-
Splash!
Swoosh!
Kotori: Just kidding I haven't forgotten this time.
Kotori had used darkness travel and took out two huge glass bowls with massive pudding a la mode with many toppings from chocolate, to fruits using her copied tentacles.
Kaneki: Ahhhh!
Seeing the two absurdly massive pudding a la mode's in front of him, Kaneki's eyes sparkled and his mouth drooling from the sight.
Kotori: I went all out with these earlier Kaneki-chan, so enjoy them.
Extend~
Kotori extended the two tentacles to give the pudding a la mode's to Kaneki, but before he took them.
Kaneki: Wait just a moment.
Extend~
Glow~!
Kaneki extended his arms towards them and used his powers on them.
Kaneki: There we go!
Wriggle~
Grip!
After doing something to them, he grabbed onto both bowls by using his own tentacles.
Miku: What did you do?
Kaneki: I made it impossible for these two to be spilled so I can eat them with no problem, in addition there's an invisible barrier so nothing could stick onto them when I'm eating.
Kotori: Haha! Kaneki-chan must've really been looking forward to it.
Kaneki: Of course! I'm not going to let these get ruined, anyways Miku you want some?
Miku: Eh? Are you sure? You've been looking forward to those for a long time.
Kaneki: Please I may can eat both of these with ease, but I'm not that greedy.
Miku: Sure then.
Kaneki began sharing one of his pudding a la mode with Miku and Kotori.
Shino & Sachi: Good morning g- woah those are huge!
As they were sharing the pudding a la mode, Sachi and Shino came out of their homes and met up with them.
They were rather surprised with how absurdly huge the pudding a la mode's were and obviously.
Kaneki wanted to share with them as well.
Kaneki: Oh Sachi! Shino! You two want some?
And so Kaneki shared his pudding a la mode's with his friends.
After sharing one of the pudding a la mode's with his sisters and Childhood friend's.
They all started going to school while Kaneki was still holding the remaining pudding a la mode with his other tentacle.
A while later~
On their way to school they met up Yuuka, Chikao and Natsuki who were all very surprised after seeing Kaneki's pudding a la mode.
After they all met, Kaneki obviously shared his remaining pudding with the other three and ate it with them.
Natsuki: Mmmh~ It's so good!
Yuuka: Kotori-san really made this very early in the morning? It's so good.
Chikao: Mmmh~!
Kotori: Hehe!
Hearing praises for her pudding, Kotori felt very proud.
Kotori: Remember drink a lot of water later once you're all done okay?
Kaneki: Got it Onee-chan.
Natsuki, Yuuka & Chikao: we will.
Kotori: Good well, I'll be heading off now I'm going to prepare for Kaneki-chan's training after school.
Swoosh!
Kotori then left very quickly, but her sudden departure made Kaneki a bit sad.
Kaneki: Aww~ I wasn't even able to say-

Luckily she did returned very quickly as well because she had forgotten something.
Kotori: Oh but before that that, Kaneki-chan once you guys are done with that could you put the bowl in our sink at home?
Kaneki: I will. Also thank you for the pudding a la mode, Onee-chan. It's one of the best I've ever had.
Kaneki thanked his older sister with so much joy showing in his face, and Kotori really loved seeing how happy her brother was.
Kotori: Your welcome, Kaneki-chan.
Pat~
Kotori: Well I'll see you all later when class starts.
After patting Kaneki's head Kotori left again.
Kaneki: Okay! Let's head to school!
Natsuki & Chikao: Let's go!
With that now out of the way, Kaneki, Natsuki and Chikao began walking to school while still sharing the pudding.
Yuuka: Hehe~ I had enough of that pudding.
Miku: Same at least they're enjoying it now.
Sachi: Kaneki looks so cute today doesn't he?
Shino: Agreed. I'm really looking forward for today, I feel like it's going to go really well.
All 3: Same here.
The four then followed the three on their way to school.
