"How dare you talk to me like that?" I was pissed off already
"You must be out of your mind if you think I care about what you think" He said and fell on the chair sitting like a boss
"And who told you to sit down" I was fuming already
"So you expect me to wait for you to tell me to sit?" he raised his brows
"Yes, it's my house. I decides who sits or stands and who stays or leave" I folded my hands
"Bla bla bla bla bla bla bla. Stop the noise, I'm getting irritated already" He facepalmed himself. Wow
"So I'm irritating?" I asked
"Women and misinterpretation" He replied
"You must be out of your mind" I said and he rolled his eyes
"And you think you're normal?" he raised his brows.
I was angry already, what kind of a person is this.
Joanna laughed and I looked at her, she got the message and stopped immediately
"What's funny!?" I shouted. "Nothing" she covered her mouth with her hands
"Allow the pretty lady to laugh" Nelson said
"Mind your business!" I warned
"Who are you to tell me what to do hmmm?" he stood up and walked pass me to Joanna, what the hell is he trying to do
"Hi pretty lady, what's the name?" He asked her and she blushed. Wow
"Joanna" She said while tucking her hair behind her ears and I rolled my eyes
"Nice name for a damsel , I'm Nelson" He smiled and she blushed more. Okay that's it
"That's enough" I shouted and he laughed, what's funny
"Jealous are we?" he Smirked
"Keep dreaming, jealous of what?" I folded my hands
"Of your friend getting my attention" He winked and I scoffed
"You wish" I said
"Joanna'' I called and she looked at me "You've overstayed your welcome" I looked at her sternly and she understood, she carried her bag and turned to leave
"Bye Beautiful" He said to her
"Don't you have shame? you're flirting with my best friend in my presence" I shouted
"Mind your business" He laughed. I felt like peeling off his skin. He's really getting on my nerves and I'm not finding it funny at all
"Don't tell me what to do" I was boiling in anger already
"Do not tell me what to do and how to live my life too and we will be alright" He shrugged and carried the remote. The nerves
"Fine then, do whatever you want" I shouted and sat down
"Why am I here?" he asked and I looked at him, his he seriously asking me that question.
"You must be out of your mind, why asking me? did I ask you to come?"
"No you didn't, our parents did. But I'm asking why?" he shrugged
"Keep asking silly questions" I rolled my eyes
"So what do you wanna watch wifey" seriously wifey? who gave him the permission. I looked at him and he was smirking, obviously to piss me off. Let the game begin then. I smirked too and he raised his eyebrows, I observed he does that a lot
"My darling husband..."
"Huh?" he interrupted, I wanted to laugh but I held it
"What is it hubby?" I Smirked
"Nothing" he gave me a Stern look and I winked "Stop doing that" he said
"What?" I winked again
"Crazy" he said and I laughed
"Just forget that I asked" he said and started searching for a movie on Netflix to watch and I started scrolling away on my phone
"What are you guys doing" Dad said and we both looked at him "You guys are supposed to be having a conversation"
"We're done" I Shrugged and Nelson affirmed
"It looks like you guys are quarreling or something" dad said
"We're not quarreling" Nelson said
"Then why the space, we didn't even give this much space during COVID-19.
You're watching TV and she's pressing her phone." Dad was just looking at us
"Dad we're fine" I said
"Anyways I want the two of you to go on a date" dad said
"A date!!!!!" we both shouted
"Yes a date, to know each other better" he shrugged as if it was the most normal thing ever
"Dad I'm sorry but I won't" I folded my hands
"I can't too, I don't take girls out on a date" Nelson said and I couldn't agree with him more
"I don't go out on dates too" I agreed with Nelson for the first time
"Guess you'll have to start now" dad said.
"This is not fair" I whined
"Life isn't fair Lola" dad said
