Chapter 190 - Farewell world!

-A universe has been destroyed, just like that.

"Even if I know the result and the process, I like seeing the struggle." She glanced at Adam's widened eyes and gave a mischievous smile. She continued speaking, like she didn't just destroy a whole universe. "And even though I know it's impossible, I still have expectations of witnessing the 'unknown'~"

The silver-haired boy took a deep breath, the subtle shaking of his shoulders stopping- even though she already felt it.

"Do you usually do this?"

His voice is neutral, no discernible emotion peeking through.

"Nope! I don't care enough to prematurely end a universe." Yog-Sothoth swung her head, bumping his shoulder with her own. "I usually let it run its course. However, this time is different- because I wanted to show you my power!"

She raised her chin, puffing her meager chest proudly as her voice turned smug.

Yet still, this Eldritch being in human skin is speaking casually, as if destroying a whole entire universe is nothing more than a trifle to her….And it actually is.

But the fact that, to her, destroying a universe is just like breaking a toy to her makes Adam feel uneasy…

The end of so many lives, so many stars, so much matter…Only required a single flick of a finger, with no second thoughts…

A big observable universe of 93 and potentially more billion light years in size, with a life of over ten billion years….sank into nothingness just because of a spontaneous thought of hers, just because she wanted to show off….

"Heh, should I say as expected of an Eldritch God?"

Adam let out a hollow chuckle, a bitter expression of helplessness rising on his face.

Normal logic doesn't apply to them. And human values and morals are obviously not included either.

"However, I have no right to judge you." He pursed his lips. He is very helpless on this. "You're so good to me, and I'd feel like scum to hate you or distance myself from you just because of this."

In the end, the silver-haired boy smiled. Though it was uncomfortable to watch, and it made him feel uneasy….He can't deny that it was, in a way, kind of cool.

"Even if you wanted to, I wouldn't let you."

Yog-Sothoth smiled brightly, placing a hand on his forearm and squeezing hard.

"...."

Though he is speechless, the silver-haired boy raised both of his hands, grasping her cheeks and pinching them.

"You're so cute."

"Hehehe~"

She leaned forward as she giggled, placing her head on his shoulder and resting her face on his chest.

"Mhm, the smell of the unknown!" Under his deadpan stare, Yog-Sothoth took a deep breath of his scent, humming in satisfaction. "I can't see through you, my authority doesn't work on you at all! With you, I can feel this body reacting normally to your presence. I can feel this body's girlish feelings that have accumulated over uncountable years! I can feel the hormones, I can feel the warmth, I can feel our normal interaction!"

Her pale cheeks flushed once more, her eyes becoming hazy

"Ah, it's so intoxicating! Granting this form actual human mechanics was the best choice!"

She rubbed her face against his chest even more fiercely, her thighs in black stockings trembling and her toes curling.

"Can you please stop?" With a false disgusted expression, he grabbed her shoulders and pushed her away. "If you continue, I won't be able to hold back. And that's bad. I don't want to get mindbroken by an Eldritch Goddess!"

He isn't a vegetarian, and neither is he a Japanese beta protagonist who is a blushing, stuttering virgin.

Problem is: This girl in front of him is a freaking Eldritch being- an Outer God!

A being who can shatter people's minds and erode their sanity at will!

If suddenly, in bed, she lets herself go and doesn't control herself….Adam will be finished.

Besides, what if out of nowhere, she smiles cutely and pulls out tentacles? What if she playfully wants to use them on him?!

While Adam has a wide range of fetishes, and he's very open-minded towards bedroom activities….There needs to be a natural progression. Going straight into the deep end is no good!

"Hmph!"

She huffed, pouting. But in the end, she backed away.

"I can guess what you're thinking." Yog-chan grinned widely, baring her teeth. "And though I'd feel an ecstatic, orgasmic pleasure of 'unknown' for a moment, it'll go away instantly. It wouldn't be worth it in the long term, since you'd lose most of your potential for the 'unknown'."

Just like how humans will get bored with a mere doll that doesn't respond and react, she is the same. A blubbering fool has lost all that potential- one without a sound mind will not bring her the 'unknown' she seeks.

"You're being quite cryptic, but I get it." Adam bravely poked her cheek. "However, can you say it more….politely? The way you put it makes me feel bad."

The silver-haired boy then leaned back on the throne made out of white marble with a sigh.

He doesn't actually feel 'bad', since he understands what kind of abomination she is.

However, it really isn't nice to hear! Some things just don't need to be said out loud!

"Do you want me to say: " Yog licked her lips. " 'I could never do that to my darling Adam!'."

She clasped her hands over her chest, saying with exaggeration.

"Yes!"

Contrary to her, the silver-haired boy's reply was serious.

..

.

"Haven't there been other reincarnators or transmigrators like me?"

Asterios Adam Tempest asked the Outer God, Yog Sothoth, as he leaned back in the marble throne and stared at the cosmic sky of nothingness.

How long has he stayed here, chatting with this Eldritch abomination in the skin of an adorable girl?

He doesn't know. Time here is blurred- it's meaningless.

Or rather, this 'realm' doesn't have a concept of time. Yog-Sothoth herself can pop into the past, present, or future of this world if she leaves this realm.

It's a godsend for him. The Chat Room isn't working right now, so he has no worries of going to the Madoka Magica world, only to face a yandere Homura who has been waiting for him for thousands of reincarnations.

"Nope!"

The white-haired girl replied cheerfully, raising one finger as if making a point.

"I've searched through 83 quadrillion 905 trillion 185 billion 914 million 615 thousand 16 hundred and 7 Imaginary Trees."

She replied casually, as if searching quadrillions of entire multiverses is the same as eating dinner to her.

To this, Adam only felt a muted, numb shock. He had long realized the difference between them- and just how absurd this Eldritch Goddess is.

However, strangely… Despite only exchanging a few conversations., and despite the differences in their existences, Adam felt like they were best friends- like they had known each other for years.

"But no, I haven't found a single one of your 'kind'." Her gaze on him grew even more intense and fervent "...Until you, of course."

"Then I should really feel special, like a protagonist."

Adam's lips twitched.

From her words, he's basically a high-class target- a once-in-a-lifetime 'prey'. Should he feel flattered? Well, he would be if he were only that kind of 'prey' to pretty Eldritch Goddesses.

-Unfortunately, Hoyoverse is special. Almost all eldritch abominations he will meet in the future will be mindless and just want to devour his soul and existence.

It'd be fine if all Eldritch beings are as friendly as Yog- helping him or giving him blessings in exchange for 'fun', but obviously, that's too much wishful thinking.

"Oh, don't be such a worrywart! I'll protect you from the others- at least until you are able to protect yourself."

Smiling widely, she reached out with her small hand and patted his shoulder in a comforting manner.

The sight of an Eldritch being in the skin of a cute little girl trying to comfort him made him feel weird- but at this point, he has gotten used to the weirdness.

The silver-haired boy nodded, opening his mouth to thank her-

"Ah, but for that stupid amalgamation, you're on your own!"

But she interrupted him before he could even speak with an amused expression.

"...."

Adam's eye twitched.

If he were a certain gender equality protagonist, he'd shout: 'Give me back my feelings, you bastard/bitch!!!!'

But no, this is fine too.

"Thanks." Under her raised eyebrow, he extended a hand to her. "That has solved most of my problems…and fears."

Adam clasped Yog's hand with his two own, holding her soft hand and lightly stroking it.

"But erm…" He blinked, putting on the most innocent expression he could muster. "Can you at least hide me from it, please?"

Blue eyes looked at the Eldritch being pleadingly; however, this look really doesn't suit a handsome boy like him.

To that, Adam will say: 'It's all about the gap moe! The contrast!'

"Hmm…"

And as the white haired girl put a hand on her chin thoughtfully and leaned towards him, Adam cheered in his mind.

'The gap moe always works, even if it's an eldritch being!'

"Okay!" In the end, she nodded with a pure smile. "But only if you give me some TRIS fanfictions from your previous life!"

"TRIS?"

Adam raised an eyebrow at this strange terminology.

"Tranmigration, Reincarnation, Isekai, Self-insert."

Yog counted on her fingers, uttering terms that NEETS in his previous life loved.

"Actual TRIS people are non-existent, so this part of human media isn't part of my knowledge."

She looked back at him expectantly, her head tilting slightly, purple eyes fixed on him with open curiosity

"...That's a weird request, but okay."

The silver-haired boy nodded with a weird expression.

In his previous life, he had read countless such fanfictions- numbering in the hundreds. And with perfect memory, he can recall every single one whenever he wants.

It's surprising that such a 'hobby' turned out useful in this current life too- but it does make sense. Since Yog's omniscience doesn't work on the world of his previous life, and since people like him are nonexistent, these fanfictions aren't part of her knowledge.

"Yay."

The white-haired girl pumped her fist in the air with excitement. However, to Adam, this excitement feels very fake.

'Is it because that's just fiction and not real events?'

Adam shook his head, giving up on trying to guess her thoughts.

..

.

"By the way, how's the omniverse?"

"Sadly, it's empty."

"Eh? What do you mean?"

"There are no omniversal factions or guilds, no omniversal conceptual entities, no 'core' of the omniverse, no omniversal tavern or place for gatherings and meetings….Ah, it's just so boring! So empty!"

"Well, that makes me relieved. At least I won't have some omniversal level entities out for my ass."

"There are only a few very powerful figures that traverse it rarely, but they are all so cautious, wary, and careful of everything and everything! Even if they saw you, I'd doubt they'd make a move."

"....."

..

.

[Investigation complete]

The mechanical voice of his dear partner echoed in his head in the midst of enjoying the silence of this eternal space with Yog-Sothoth.

[Fault detected with [Stand:Blank] and [Semblance:Memorial Teleportation].]

The silver-haired boy's eyebrows twitched lightly at that.

So these are what sabotaged him?!

[The two Nagazora Cities conceptually overlapped. Through your memories as the medium, you teleported here. Master knows what Nagazora city of this world looks like.]

'This shouldn't be the case. Otherwise, I'd always end up in parallel universes when teleporting.'

He frowned.

'Besides, GGZ and Honkai Impact 3rd aren't even parallel. How did I come here?'

[Uncertain: but during the envisioning for teleportation, your thinking subtly changed into the Nagazora city of this world]

"What this little information being inside you is saying is correct!"

Yog-Sothoth suddenly said, interrupting his thoughts.

'She can hear what [Great Sage] is saying-'

Wait, of course she can. If she couldn't, [Great Sage] would be able to take over the Omniverse!

"It was me."

The white-haired girl grinned.

"You thought it was the Will of Ruin trying to use you to invade other words…" She dramatically spread her hands, adopting a posture suspiciously familiar to Adam, "-but it was me, Yog-Sothoth-chan!"

She then pointed at herself, puffing her meager chest with a proud expression.

"Oh, ok."

Adam casually nodded, shrugging with nonchalance.

"Hey, I did that famous meme, and that's how you react?"

"The scene of you doing this is more cute than funny."

"...."

..

.

"Am I clean?"

"What do you mean?"

"The Will of Honkai hasn't left any marks on me, has it? It won't invade any other world through me, will it?"

"I told you countless times, no."

"What about other…unspeakable entities? Have they left a mark on me?"

"Nope! You're clean! I have bleached your entire existence!"

"....."

"Okay, I admit it, I did leave a mark on you!"

"...."

"You're not angry, are you? You should be happy. I've left my mark on you and rubbed off my scent alllll over you! Aren't you happy that I, Yog-Sothoth, am marking my territory and declaring you mine to all other Eldritch beings?"

".....Uh, I really want to say no, but I'm not a liar. And unfortunately, you're in the form of a cute girl- I could never say no."

"You know, if you only care about appearances, you'll never manage to make an Eldritch being love you…"

"...."

"Oh, by the way, with this mark: if you ever meet a person related to a me from another verse, or another me personally, they will really like you."

"-You're so generous, you're so amazing, you're so kind-hearted, you're so cute, I love you so much!"

"Oh? Go on, feel free to compliment me more."

"Thank you so much. If I had the marks of Shub and Nyarla too, I could go to many verses and make a whole harem of Eldritch Goddesses!"

"...Not a bad idea. Let me discuss this with my sisters-"

"Wait, wait! Don't rush!"

..

.

Adam stood with his hands in his pockets, his back towards Yog-Sothoth as he stared ahead at the person in front of him.

His face is pale, his teeth clattering together. And very subtly, his arms are lightly trembling.

"I don't get you."

The white-haired Outer God behind him sighed as she saw him in pain.

"Your choice is very weird." She lowered her legs, her stocking-clad feet stepping lightly on the marble as she leaned forward. "Why endure such pain?"

"Why…not…?"

The silver-haired boy replied with heavy breaths, enduring the soul-tearing sensation permeating his whole being.

"Ah, for someone you met only today…" Yog-Sothoth leaned even more, placing her hands on her thighs for support as she held her head with her palms. "You are going so far, splitting your resilient soul…Mhmhm, can't say I don't like it."

As those words echoed throughout this space of infinity from behind him, Adam looked at the bright blue eyes in front of him.

They belong to a silver-haired, blue-eyed boy. Wearing black clothes, and extremely handsome-

[....]

It is himself.

As Yog-Sothoth said, Adam….split his soul.

Not entirely. He only split off a fragment of it. Yet, even though he did so willingly, that pain, the pain of his soul tearing, is the worst kind of pain imaginable. It was the most painful experience in all of his existence.

-Yet he still endured it.

"I leave accompanying Kiana to you." The transmigrator snapped out of his thoughts and said to 'himself' "Take good care of her."

He can't stay in this world forever. And while he's on his adventures, he'll leave this 'him' to keep Kiana company.

-Though it will only be limited to company. This 'him' won't do anything else. After all, any action can break Yog's concealment (which isn't made to be strong) and have him come under the Will of Ruin's eyes.

If the Will notices this 'him' and destroys this soul fragment…His main body won't be affected much; however, he'll have to heal his fragmented soul. And as is commonly known, souls are very, very, very hard to heal.

"Bro, stop the bullshit." 'He' looked at himself with a deadpan expression. "Do you want me to develop split personality?"

"True, true." He nodded at 'himself' with utmost agreement. "My split personality can only be a girl- a waifu!"

[( ˶°ㅁ°) .ᐟ.ᐟ]

Adam put his hands on his hips proudly.

He'll never ever make a male split personality of himself!

Even this fragment of his soul, his other 'self', is the same! That's why, he has been extremely careful to achieve a state of 'existence' in two places at the same time.

-Basically, this fragment of his soul is an extra POV planted in another world, in which he can control.

"And since I have Great Sage, I don't need a split personality!"

The 'silver-haired boy' also put 'his' hand on 'his' hip, maintaining eye contact with himself

"Indeed. I, Adam, have always believed this simple fact:"

Adam extended a hand, pointing at 'himself' as he spoke slowly.

"-If you want to avoid NTRing yourself, then just make a female clone!"

'Adam' continued his sentence, also extending a hand and pointing at himself.

""Having a male split personality yapping in your head is gay!""

Two identical voices shouted at the top of their lungs simultaneously in this sacred space made of infinite knowledge and wisdom.

A/N:

Did I write Yog-Sothoth well?

Though I feel like I didn't do that good of a job, I can still say: Yog-Sothoth is an eldritch god, an omniscient one, no less. Any inconsistencies, weirdness, or illogical thing will make sense for her.

By the way, for anyone who still hasn't understood: This Adam isn't a self-aware clone. It's just a fragment of his soul, connected with his stand and some of Yog's power, through which he can achieve the state of 'being in two places at once'. He controls the body.

Also: Special thanks to the user named Kyaa . This person has been here since chapter 1 and until now, and has never missed a single 'Thank you for the chapter'!
