Chapter 468 - Chapter 468: Tunguska

Solomon would be utilizing his barriers, watching the two soldiers swarm on all sides. Bullets passing around, screaming on either side, trying to go at each other's throats. All the while, Juna loomed above, cackling away, her eye quickly shifting with its hands. As the hands spun, the area around Solomon would change, the barrier quickly disintegrating before his eyes, guns shooting and whizzing past the Biblical Sorcerer, forcing him to react faster. Unfortunately, because of her magic now in full control of her sight, she's able to speed up as much as possible, making the landscape go beyond his normal reach. He could see the sun and moon passing by, first by an hour, then thirty minutes, then one minute, until he'd see the long streaks come across, two bands that circle around, occasionally crossing each other one moment in the case of an eclipse. This was her personal Final Gambit: To create a separate world where she can modulate the time needed to fulfill her attacks.

At the same time, however, he can see the gears working overtime, watching them spin faster and faster, trying to keep up just as much. "You're seeing it, right Lil' Mon?" Shady asked, half of his form forced to act as Stolas' arm in the current moment, quickly spinning across the ground the more the sun sped up, merely a crescent left behind to act as his face.

"Yeah.... Yeah, she's using lots of energy to use this!" Solomon mumbled to himself, yet Juna's cackle implied she was able to hear over him.

"My, my, MY Coo~! You're smarter than anyone else I've seen so far~! Then again, my wounds are showing, aren't they? I suppose that's what I get for not attending to such matters beforehand, Coo~. Would Zirconium act as a good plating on me when we're done?"

"Depends if you live long enough to put it on."

"Oooh~! I like the energy! Let's see if it matches with this then." She'd pause the world right under the moon's sorrowful gaze, shimmering lights made across the horizon. Solomon would try to cast a Barrier again, but the many hands jutting out would come forward to interrupt the child, forcing him to set up Might of Samson instead. "Nuh-uh-uh! No cheating! I don't want any exceptions for our little shower, Coo~."

"Shower??" Solomon was a bit disturbed with how she phrased it, trying to look up again and see what she meant. His eyes widened once he saw the atmosphere pick up some heat.

"Of course, a Shower! Have you never seen it before? The rocks from all the way up in the night sky, crashing down and trying to cleanse anything around us. It's a perfect shower, all things considered~." She'd cheer and jeer as she'd make way for the incoming meteors from above, watching it break apart, her eye catching the rocks and speeding it up, letting it brush mere inches away from Solomon's body. "There was a name for this, by the by~! The Tunguska Event, it was called. Enjoy this little gun of mine, Coo~." She'd mock, though as she'd try to set up another event, she'd see Solomon switch spells, his hands opening, his eyes locked on, his body ready. Shady immediately tried to have the Biblical Sorcerer retreat back, but was pushed off as he'd keep his ground. At first, the Shadow would try to protest, but nothing comes out of his mouth once he saw the boy's eyes. They weren't like the ones before, when he was contemplating such guilt or regret. Something changed in those eyes. A Fire that awakened within it.

A fire that doesn't want to be put out. Not again.

A gush of water began to roll as he'd take aim, his breath slowed, his body heating up, catching fire the closer the Meteors came. As he grits his teeth, he'd prepare it. "Et dabo septem dies ex nunc pluviam super terram quadraginta diebus et quadraginta noctibus..." A chant, as the water boiled over, his body slowly being consumed by its fire, as other soldier either fled in terror or succumb to the fire and perishing before it made impact. "...et delebo omnem animam viventem in terrain quam feci tibi. Hoc est praeceptum Domini.." His heart was beating faster as it began to crash, the shockwave coming forward, the heat now unbearable. Juna would see such chants and tried to pause time upon his body, preventing him from casting his spell and guaranteeing her victory.

In reality, Shady would step in, allowing himself to take the blow and be suspended in mid-air, as Solomon flows it out of his hand like a bird leaving its nest. "Book Magic....."

"REEED!! SEAAAAAA!!! AAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRK!!!!!"

FWOOOOOOOSH!!!!!

A tsunami, heading straight for the shockwaves, penetrating through it, the force of God's Judgement matching at the meteor, before eventually surpassing it. It flooded the entire battlefield, the people that somehow stayed alive after the impact washed away, the Meteor breaking apart and shattering under the force and strength of the new ocean. It even reached through Juna's body, piercing into her cogs, ruining it and forcing the poor woman to struggle keeping her form together. Her body twitched and pulsed like she was undergoing a seizure, nearly dying in its process. Solomon smiled as he'd see his plan come to fruition, the hands now breaking apart, her Time Magic slowly coming to an end. Shady would be able to come back, as he'd send him towards Juna in an effort to invade her body and take back Stolas' arm from within. Even with such heavy damages, however, Juna was able to hold enough energy to catch Solomon in a pause, letting her pull the Shadow to force him closer, the hands below raised just enough in order to skewer him should he reach it.

A perfect victory.

SHIKKKK!!!!!

Ice. Swarms of ice that slashed through her body, stunting her performance almost immediately. Her head quickly changed back to its regular form, as she'd watch Solomon smile, looking up at her, taking in the surefire victory set. "Marvelous..." She'd start, coughing up oil, feeling something squirm in her chambers. "...You... tricked me..."

"With help from your friend, nonetheless."

A weak chuckle came out of her, as she'd begin to shut down. "If I.... were you... I'd believe... you'd make a great.... ruler, coo~...." her final words as her body bent backwards, the bubble set going away as fast as it was brought out.
