Chapter 558 - Chapter 558: It's the End of the World, Part 2

Zazel watched as the Mummy was manipulating the movements everyone had. Seeing the quick shift between one another as he angled his cane like a stick, he knew he'd need to buy enough time from such shifts to occur so they can deal a proper blow. With this, he'd charge ahead, his two sigils recalled back, letting Harvard and Bronx deal with the Gambler while he gave his assistance to Solomon. The Biblical Sorcerer would set up more locusts to swarm around, prompting Khonum to set up his cane once more and move at a sharp angle, rotating at a near 90 degree angle so he can force the insects to collide and come in as a cloud. With this positioning, it would also expose Zazel's body before he would be able to prepare another sigil against him. A calculated path, down to the rounded number, as a Medjed swooped in and fired a solid beam of light, aiming to kill two birds with one stone.

As the beam came, however, the Mummy would be left shocked as the Demon Prince turned his body around and moonwalked. With the sudden shift at this angle, his movement increased tenfold, using his own magic against him and reach close enough to fire away in a mass of bullets from Sabnock, mowing down his stomach as a result. Both flesh and paper flowed freely across the cavern floors, yet Khonum was only stressed on the latter, the sockets visible through the bandages following it hit such a wall. "So I take it those bandages are important. I'm guessing your Magic style's tied to that?" Zazel asked, preparing Asmodeus immediately in order to incinerate him further. A quick shift was made to keep the distance wide, while Medjed would swoop in and create a set of beams from the light, a limbo to cut down the Demon's head clean off. In response, Zazel bent himself backwards, playing such a game and barely having it nick his nose and horns, as he'd fire the flames to get a chance in reaching him.

KRACC!!!

The ground quaked as Deltoro came in, tanking the hit in full blast, his chest plate forged from the rubble to imprison the Sigil in its endless maze. "Did you forget me for a moment...?" The Bull asked, part of its mask broken because of Oyama-Don's awakening. Such a part exposes the blank stone that was supposed to act as its face, unsettling the Demon once he saw what was underneath. As soon as the Bull charged and tried to weaponize Asmodeus, Solomon would counter with another Barrier, letting it take in another piece of armor, a wide open shot for Zazel to fire with the flaming sigil again. It was curious to the two why he would make such a decision, but such would give fruit once they'd see the chime tick down, a 'III' burning behind the beast, the magma rising out from such veins. As it fired and aimed for the chest, somehow it would break apart. The flames were just enough to melt through the stone and weaken it, breaking apart his magic surrounding his upper body in the process.

"Well, look at that! The misfortune thing can even apply to magic styles! Can't learn around that, can yah?" Such a phrase would trigger the Bull to attack irrationally, causing the cave to quake once he missed a punch and hit into a wall. The rocks fell down one after another, crushing in Deltoro, burying him in the rubble. As they'd catch their breath, the two boys were quick on listening in and seeing the girls brought along take action, with one morphing the head to be the Bull's, headbutting Zazel across his spine, the misfortune taking hold as well, letting it snap in two and even stab into some vitals to force him down on the ground, coughing up blood as a result. Solomon was quick on casting Garden of Eden to heal him, but such holy magic would also be influenced, burning the Demon alive as he was regenerating, scaring the Biblical Sorcerer. He'd pull Zazel out of there, casting a barrier to shield the two away, letting the light blink to catch Harvard's attention, the Card Magician passing over a potion to help remedy the problem. One drink was all it took to let the Demon's body recover, breathing slowly to calm himself from the excruciating pain he felt, inside and out.

The girl's voice, the one that possessed the Bull Mask, was audibly distinct, the same voice the male construct once had, now mingled with her own. "Surprised? Good. You've given me the solution without even knowing it. Now I know I can just brute force my way through your spells thanks to the Mountain God." She'd respond, cracking her neck before rushing ahead once more, preparing a quick hook to send towards the two.

"You're not gonna explain how you switched bodies like that!?" Zazel asked, as he'd summon Sabnock to take the blow, letting the metallic body come first to act as a shield before the arms swings back, crushing into her waist and forcing the knees and legs to buckle.

"It would give away my secret, no? Why would I waste such breath in giving my enemy an answer?"

"Common courtesy?"

"Illogical." The Bull was quick on pulling Sabnock, letting the wirings be exposed across such metal hides, allowing Khonum to set up the Medjed's to attack on all sides again, burning through them and blowing up parts of the machine to wear it down. Even with such weakness, it rebelled, as it kept swinging its arms at the rocky build, even changing the hands to maces for better bludgeoning. It was a slugfest between the two, both sides silently begging to have the other give so they can participate further. Khonum's body was starting to sweat, a sign that his energy was getting drained.

A Sign that another would take advantage of.
