Barklode's patience was wearing thin, especially with the disturbances all over. More doors ripped apart, more monsters lashing out at every crevice. A room quickly devoured and crushing in any scientists that tried to enter, its cells and eyes littered across the bending and breaking steel. A cavern of crystals ever expanding, with Stalagmites and Stalactites stabbing ahead and synergizing with to make parts of certain halls incapable of passing through. More perplexing, however, were new objects scattered across the environment, slowly spreading from each corridor.
A Rune.
Mannaz.
They were ready to activate on a moments notice, the markings glowing a distinct gold. A Monster unknown towards the Scientist, recognizing it as a potential threat if left unchecked. With how much everything was going on, however, he was forced to ignore it and focus on finding the child himself. As he descended, he was able to get a proper glimpse of him, giving chase once he noticed. He was able to see his arms being longer, reaching for another door and letting it go wild, muscles and skin stretching out to grab ahold and pull the door down. At first, it didn't made any sense. It was a child, and one that appeared to be smaller than he was. That was until he saw the child's face. His eyes were fully red, with a sliver of the shining hazelnut to indicate he was still human. Such a slit was extremely small, twitching even, as he stared in front of him, not willing to focus anything else.
KRRRRRRRRRRRRRRREAK! KRAKK!!!!
With one harsh tug, the hinges flew off, as he'd brazenly toss the door behind him, before rushing ahead for another, almost as if he knew he was spotted. Barklode attempted to give chase, but was forced to face one of his own creations: A Thin-like figure in black and red, one wing on his back, a monocle with a crosshair for an eye, and a permanent grin. It tried to lunge out and grab ahold of the Scientist, but he would pull himself back, watching the guards be quick to come from behind. As they tried, however...
SHIKK!!!
The child didn't hesitate. One swing from his long arms, and it was enough to slash down two by their backs, leaving them on the ground, crippled and struggling to get themselves up so they can keep fighting. Barklode was a bit amazed at how ruthless the boy has gotten, moreso in how he pushed a few down and was ready to deal more damage to the others. His two girls would try to commentate as they peer over again, floating beside him like angels, shaking their fists and throwing a few punches in the air, their anger visible. "Mean! So mean!! He can't do that! He's just as filthy as the other beasts!!" Aramasa shouted.
"Does he have no shame!? No remorse!? What a savage brat! Someone should teach him a lesson!" Tsuyugi replied.
Barklode watched as the monsters took notice and tried to charge ahead, with Harvard preparing Lemegeton and fired a warning shot nearby before descending deeper in the Bunker. The Scientist was quick on backing away and slightly smacking his hand against the devilish figure, his Censors quickly pulling in as the bullet came. A clean shot, straight through both of them in their respective sides, though the latter was able to come out of it barely scathed. The Monster, however, would struggle as he'd see a beautiful bouquet of roses from where his wound was, quickly reaching in and trying to take such flowers, unaware he was trying to take himself apart. The true beauty of Censor Magic isn't merely a way to disguise, but to fool. To make the brain react visibly and instantly to what was blocked off, making them lead to assumptions they cannot properly create with such skewed visions. It was a perfect style to make one self-destruct, though with the lack of proper fighting, Barklode worries it'd be inevitable he would be forced to lower his hand on another.
As the beast backed away into the shadows, the trail of blood left behind into the crevice, the Scientist was quick on getting a nearby light source and flash it at the figure, watching the wound already healed, but at the same time remained damage as well. A Simultaneous showing of both situations. "Schrod, correct? I did a bit of scarce research for myself at you, but I was able to know you're not one for combat, either. Your magic hides you so that you can sustain any injuries and survive whilst being in a paradox along with the dark. So long as you rested there, you can fight on despite potentially labeled as 'dead.' I doubt such a temporal anomaly like yourself would be able to keep going, what with the light I have over you..." He'd monologue, watching on as Schrod tried to keep fighting, forcing his mind to ignore such imagery and try to get a clean hit again. Alas, the mind could only do so much before it pulls back to the censors, as Barklode would use his short stature to duck under the punch and deliver a brutal punch to its stomach, then a kick at its groin area. He wasn't playing fair, and why should he? To him, these beasts have a hold over everyone else with styles nigh impossible to work against.
It wasn't until he realized what Harvard's shot was when it was too late, as he'd try to act intimidating over Schrod, the light still held on his hand.
SHIKK!!!
An immediate attack from behind, his back slashed across, the light dropped, the darkness swallowing around, as Schrod instantly recovers and tries to tackle and choke him through the bars, letting both plummet down, with the Monster hoping the Man would break in the impact of the fall. With such a fall, he was able to see the other monster responsible for the slash, a Skeletal warrior, charred bones and armor, a slash delivered through the open air, as it followed downwards.
Miyashi.
