"EXTRA EXTRA! READ ALL ABOUT IT!! NEWLY DISCOVERED MONSTER BURNED THE CENTER OF THE WORLD! MASS HYSTERIA ENSUED!!!"
Months have went by after such an incident, as the world shifted thanks to the Morningstar. Waters boiled across every corner, thanks to Grand Sol reaching into the Earth and spreading far and wide. Lands shifted in ways unheard of, twisting the ground and bringing structures unseen by proper eyes. The air grew stale thanks to the damage left on the atmosphere, but people were quick on such repairs to get that fresh breath the world needed. The Sun and Moon were given more attention after such a catastrophe, trying to learn why exactly one would be fascinated by such. In a way, it granted them discovery over the solar system they were in, with one scientist showing the very World we're in rotating around the Sun, instead of the Sun orbiting the World. Division broke out as soon as it was made, making people question how such was even the case, how it was even possible for the planet to be piloted in such a manner.
This, in turn, got one person to volunteer and take the opportunity for themselves to give the world its truth: Galileo Galilei.
Amidst the very center, where the sun was embedded and burned into the skin of the earth, only He was the one who was willing to show them how the world rotates. Venturing alone in the Circle, he'd gather as many materials as possible in order to construct himself a rocket, enhancing it with Gravity Magic, making a direct shot towards the Sun and Moon to claim for himself. Not to the people, not to the kingdoms, to Himself. Such discovery was not only bold, but greedy, and enticed those abroad to follow in his footsteps, to try and learn the trajectory and make their own respective reach for the outer skirts that was such orbiting. Calibren became its first witness as they watched several rockets being both built and empowered to follow his lead in leaving the Earth and spreading its reach far and wide.
The Dance of the Stars.
"Sooooo, how long do you think this is gonna last, Mr. Itanos?" A young man asked, cloaked under robes of white, with talisman's covering his face.
"Quite a While, I'd imagine. If Crowley was able to pave the way of discovery for Monsters and utilize them to its fullest, I'd imagine this Space Age is going to do the same for the Universe around us." Itanos replied, kneeling as he'd look down from above, the Monster Seal that acts as his eyes glowing an emerald color as he gives focus to the many that were directing orders, and the many others that were following. "Humanity's reach is never-ending. Never-wavering. We had the Philosopher's Stone in the dark ages, then Crowley's discovery for Monsters and the worlds they inhabit. We had the Apocalypse that led the world to its brink and persevered to the top. Now, we hold a chance to reach above this world and make many more in the process."
"Wouldn't that make us lose everything we had before? All those resources and manpower could've been used for magic. Why for something so vast and unreachable? It's not even something worth reaching if one lost their life to it. We'd be left with nothing."
"Not nothing, Ji-Mon. Even failures can become keystones to our growth. Even progress, if stunted or halted, can be information to the next." Cupid was quick on watching the first rocket begin to fly, counting down by the masses before it propelled upwards. The metallic plating began to break off before it would properly exit the circle, small sparks raining down in the process. Pilots within the ship were quick to disengage and leave, quickly casting down barriers in iron and obsidian to block off and squelch the explosion that was coming. A woman in the crowd was quick to grant them feathers, letting it grow from their backs so they can fly safely back down on the ground, not trying to push any further with their latest ride, going back to construction all over again. Some were vocal in how they wish to pursue, demanding for stronger materials, a quick nod being their answer as they flew up and past into the circle's edges for those said materials. "It reminds me of something though, something I never thought was possible."
"The heck are you talking about? An explosion jogged your memory on something? Was it a death??"
"No, no. A Prophecy. There was once a woman with the ability to see into the future, from where I read it. When people asked her about the future of the world, she dubbed it as 'what is built in the day shall fall in the night, till the highest stone in the church be the lowest stone of the bridge' Back then, it was for a bridge that was hit by a massive storm, proving that she was some sort of witch who could hold such predictions. Now, however... I do believe this quote holds true to now. From our massive Earth to the daunting Sun and sky, we are building another bridge to the other side. If it stays firm, is up for debate." Cupid watched on as he sees another rocket built, as Ji-Mon began to descend and make his way to the medicinal wards. He recalled frantic demands for recovery when two children were seen unconscious and up above, left to waft and float over the Circle. Reports came that the Morningstar was dealt with by three figures. Sozo, with what looked to be the first out of millennia that he was truly angry. An Angel, born out of Earth to tend to the third. A Demon, noble under magma and iron, with every monster at his beck and call.
Cupid was quick on working on his own magic while he watched the Space Race begin such early stages, curious as to how long it'll take until they're properly able to reach the heavens.
