On the way back, Joanna got even more sick. She was leaning over the toilet bowl, vomiting with no strength left in her body.
It felt as if her stomach was about to be thrown up, too.
This was the first time riding a plane had caused such a huge reaction in her.
Even on the way to Noviland, they had turbulence, but she hadn't felt this nauseous before.
Ashton Heath stood by her side, his brows furrowed. He was distressed and worried seeing her like this.
When he felt she was a bit better, he handed her a cup of clean water.
"Joanna, how do you feel now? Are you still nauseous? Should we go to the hospital for a check-up?"
Joanna took the glass of water from his hand and rinsed her mouth.
After she finished, Ashton handed her a clean wet towel.
"There's no need." Joanna wiped her mouth and tried to stand up with one hand on the edge of the toilet bowl.
Ashton bent down and picked her up horizontally.
