Adivaris could not believe his luck: he finally found true Goddess, who had awakened and become powerful, and even became her favorite. And this means that all her magical powers will go to him through a love affair. He understood that he was greatly risking his life by coming into contact with her and almost died from her fire. It's great that the merciful Rohen helped him to recover. But now he has such luxurious magic at his disposal - teleport and living flame, and this is a completely different life - any obstacles are not a hindrance to him, this is the sweet status of the Archon.
Now he must not allow anyone to separate them. He knew perfectly well who she was and why it was necessary to live next to her. He will never admit to her that he has known her for thousands of years and will pretend that he has never met Arumy. It was always difficult to achieve her attention, and he was constantly prevented from getting close to her by knowledgeable aristocrats, as well as his brother, who had long understood what kind of creature she was, driving away all rivals from her.
Adivaris had not experienced such happiness for a long time, and now he reveled in his unprecedented freedom. He tested with great pleasure how the rare gift of teleportation worked, moving to various planets, to places he had been before, shouting into the distance triumphantly:
"Yes! I am omnipotent! I am free! Wherever I want, I'm there!"
At the same time, he tested living flame on several trees, incinerating them to ashes.
He decided to visit his brother on Xantari and flew to his tower, carefully covering his tracks and trying not to give himself away with supermagic.
"Where have you been, Adivaris?" Palien greeted him joyfully. "Long time no see. You were such a homebody. And now there are terrible rumors about you about the seizure of mortal women along with this upstart Avilena."
"These rumors are true, and I also rested on Zaria in Ornalion," his braggart brother proudly declared.
"How so?" Palien frowned. "Xantarians are not allowed there."
"Made friends with Rohen, he's a cool guy! I begged Lariel, and I was
allowed to stay there."
"Incredible!" Palien squeezed out enviously. "How did you manage that? And why are you helping the rebels? Are you probably tired of living? Agents often fly to me and demand that you hand over to the authorities."
Adivaris laughed smugly.
"Will not work! I am now a Archon! I can burn them for trying to detain me."
Palien stared at him in horror.
"Can't be! Why were you awarded this way?"
"Nobody gave anything. I took it from Kamily myself."
"What?" Palien's eyes flashed furiously. "Did she let you near her? She is very difficult to seduce. How did you do it? Did you tell her that I am your brother?"
"Yes, she knows! Listen, don't be jealous. I almost died after being intimate with her. Rohen generously cured me. I don't think you could withstand such a flame power, now its strength has increased many times over. You already got wonderful children from her."
Adivaris looked back at the blond twins sitting calmly on the floor at a distance. Yarion did not take his piercing, serious eyes off his guest. Suddenly he jumped up and, fluttering his wings, rushed to his uncle.
"Where is my mother? Bring me to her," the toddler's thin voice rang out demandingly. "I know you're hugging her."
Yarion grabbed the rim of Adivaris' clothes and started to stare at him.
"Are you trying to hypnotize me, kid? Seriously?" His uncle grinned. "But I can't take you to your mother, she lives very far away."
"You can, you can!" The boy shouted capriciously. "Take me to her! Now!"
His lovely sister silently approached and looked at her uncle with a heavy gaze, pouting her lips and nervously fingering her the frills of her pink dress.
Palien clasped his head in his hands: the twins drove him crazy every day with their innate talent for magic.
"Get out of here, don't bother the adults," the father irritably drove the kids away.
"They are such a headache!" He whispered. "They don't listen to me, they constantly demand their mother. Yarion loves to start fires all over. My daughter doesn't want to talk at all, she annoyed me with telepathy. I'm so tired of them, you can't imagine! I rest only when they are sleeping."
Adivaris was always indifferent to kids and got rid of his many offspring, sending them to be raised in military boarding schools. He didn't want to bother with them and teach them magic. He frankly did not understand his brother, who took on such a burden.
"Can I bring them to their mother?" Adivaris suggested. "For a while! They will calm down, and you will get some rest!"
"Oh! Rohen returned my kids to me after the kidnapping. I don't want to admit to Kamily that I can't cope with them," Palien muttered. "But you would have helped me out. I wish I could go there too."
"Will not work for you! Lariel will detect you immediately. When I found myself in his city, he discovered me in a moment."
"Did you like living there? How are the black-winged girls?" Palien asked languidly.
"Nothing special, just fun for a couple of days. Then it gets boring. But Avilena and Selestra are magical," Adivaris said dreamily, his eyes sparkling.
Palien was alarmed.
"Did you also seduce Selestra?" His voice trembled.
"No! She didn't show that much interest in me."
"Ah, Selestra," Palien moaned quietly. "She always despised me..."
"Have you dreamed about her?"
"Yes! So tender and sensual. She rejected me because of Kamily's slander, she said all sorts of nonsense about me... I then lured Selestra onto the ship and gave her to Ramies under a love spell, who will forgive me for this now. I've done so many stupid things!"
