"Cold?"
Hearing the sound, Annie Taylor quickly sat up in the bed, hastily reached out to feel the child's forehead, and this touch made her heart tighten: "Why so hot?"
Right away, without thinking much, she turned on the lights and put on clothes, wrapping Lucas into a ball and said: "Mommy will take you to the hospital, you have a fever."
Lucas showed a hint of a smile: "I'm a man, I'm not afraid."
"Yes, mum knows you are a man."
Annie Taylor agreed while grabbing her bag and holding her child, hurriedly left the hotel, hailed a car, and headed straight to the hospital.
It wasn't until more than two hours later that Lucas finally lay on the hospital sickbed and fell asleep again. His slightly tanned small face showed a hint of blush, and his hand was attached to an IV drip, but he had already fallen into a deep sleep.
Looking at her son on the sickbed, Annie Taylor finally breathed a sigh of relief.
But she couldn't help feeling a bit guilty.
