He stood up from the sofa and said indifferently to the little maid who was teary-eyed and looking at them helplessly, "What are you standing there for? Get out."
His tone wasn't particularly harsh, but it still scared her to tears. The little maid's tears fell with a drop, and she sobbed as she turned to leave.
Aldana Candi was trembling with anger, reaching out to grab him, "Philip Shaw, it's one thing to bully me, but another to bully a young girl. Are you even a man?"
He lowered his head and leisurely looked at her.
"I'm simply disposing of an incompetent servant. Although the Shaw family is wealthy, we don't provide for freeloaders here." Seemingly justified, he glanced at her briefly, "If you really want to argue, it wasn't me who drove her away, but someone who refused to eat breakfast without being cajoled."
