Kakuzu ran up Mt. Lady's arm to reach her face with brutal force. He gave her a right hook that made the blonde stumble as she tried to get the villain off her, trapping him in her hands. She wanted to crush him. "Ahhhh!" With a scream of pain, Yu had to let go of the masked man when he caused a gust of wind that gave her several cuts on her hands.
"The bigger they are, the easier they fall..." Kakuzu said calmly, forming hand seals and puffing out his chest. He then blew a large current of air, which made the heroine retreat. Even with her great size, she ended up being lifted off the ground and sent several meters away from the battle zone.
Ryukyu had to watch as her companion fell onto one of the camp's buildings, destroying it on impact. Spreading her wings, the dragon woman created a current of air that pushed the two strange masked beings away, but it was in vain, as the blonde was struck by a lightning bolt that fell on top of her. "...?" Looking at her back, the heroine found herself face-to-face with the masked figure, who, forming hand seals again, pointed at her back.
"Raiton," almost as a whisper, Kakuzu attacked with a great discharge that paralyzed Ryukyu mid-flight, forcing her to fall. As for the masked man, he only extended his two arms to be taken by the two black masses with masks, which made him land gracefully on the ground. "Useless abilities if you don't have the guts to use them well," mocked Kakuzu, who let the two masks integrate back into his body.
Falling abruptly, Ryukyu left a large crater and slowly lost her dragon form to return to normal. Amid the cloud of dust, she tried to get up, but the large burn on her back and other injuries made it impossible. "Get up," she growled in pain, finally managing to stand, only to see a serious Kakuzu standing in front of her.
A tense silence formed when the villain simply raised his right hand and several threads emerged, but as they were about to reach the heroine, they were erased by a strange beam of energy. "..." Blinking, Kakuzu saw a strange blond brat trembling like jelly. This one had apparently been hidden among the trees and now revealed himself to fire whatever it was he had fired.
"Hmmm!" Closing his eyes and gathering all the courage he had, Aoyama fired his attack through his stomach, which hit Kakuzu directly, but Kakuzu stopped the attack using only his hands.
"Get out of here!" Ryukyu could only curse the intervention of the child who, although he had saved her life, was now in the villain's sights.
Aoyama's beam slowly lost power until, finally, the French teenager just fell to his knees with painful stomach cramps. "You should have stayed hidden, brat," were the stern words of Kakuzu, who now headed towards where the annoying blond was, but had to stop when another brat arrived.
Bakugo, falling from the sky with his hands glowing orange, aimed at the unconcerned Kakuzu, who simply stood there. "Shine!" But to the masked man's surprise, an explosion powerful enough to obliterate a five-story building struck him point-blank in the back. Katsuki, breathless, glared at his classmate. "Take it and get out of here!" he ordered firmly, his hands pointing at Kakuzu's figure as it vanished through the cloud of dust.
"Hai!" Ignoring the pain as best he could, the French teenager picked up the exhausted dragon heroine and carried her away from the fight. As for Bakugo, he could only stall by firing several shots at the rogue ninja, who just walked in his direction. "Not again!" With the image of the Uzumaki flashing through his mind, Katsuki refused to let the outcome be the same. "I won't lose again!" With an intense glow in his hands, he aimed at Kakuzu.
Firing, he unleashed what could be described as an explosion capable of obliterating a city block. "You're a nuisance, brat..." It was a shame that such an attack was deflected into the sky when Kakuzu simply grabbed Bakugo's wrists and raised them, causing the explosion to go only into the sky. Releasing him, the masked man kicked him in the chest, causing the sound of the teenager's ribs breaking. "Although with an interesting kekkei genkai..." With threads emerging from his right hand, they approached Katsuki's chest, intending to snatch his heart.
Moving his hand swiftly, Kakuzu caught a projectile heading towards his face. Looking into the distance, he saw the dark-haired brat from before. Staring at the projectile, the masked man frowned as a cloud of red gas came out of it. "Pepper?" the masked man growled angrily, glaring at Momo, who now threw something else: a flash grenade.
While Kakuzu was distracted, Tsuyu's long tongue wrapped around a battered Bakugo, who was then led to the safety of the group with the other students. Momo had left Ragboll in charge of the other students and was throwing everything she could to distract the villain, but her plan failed when a strong gust of wind dispersed the smoke.
"You will not be able to stop me," Kakuzu said, and a growth appeared on his shoulders, where two masks emerged, one of them with fire and the other with wind, both pointing at the students, with Momo at the head.
"Maybe not us... but she will." The teenager's words confused Kakuzu, who looked down to notice a large shadow forming beneath him. Looking up, he saw a giant fist belonging to the colossal figure of Mt. Lady, which fell from the sky to land on top of the villain and deliver a blow so strong that it caused a powerful shockwave and a large crater.
"Die, you bastard!" With everything that had happened that night, seeing those two kill their companions made Yuli feel something she may never have felt in her entire life: a thirst for blood. She wanted to stop them from hurting anyone else, even if it meant ending the life of this horrible being.
The students had to resist to avoid being swept away by the strong wind currents produced by the endless blows of Mt. Lady, who was making the crater bigger and bigger every second. Finally, after giving hundreds of blows without rest, she stopped, quickly losing her height and returning to normal.
Breathing heavily, the blonde saw the battered and motionless body of the masked man, who didn't move. Thinking it was a bitter victory, Yu lost her size and returned to normal. Standing there, she heard that Mirko was still fighting the other villain. With clumsy steps, she wanted to go help the rabbit heroine, but stopped when she heard a breaking sound. Turning around, she saw that one of the masks, broken, had fallen from the villain's 'body'.
"That was unexpected." The pro hero's body froze when, in a twisted way, Kakuzu's body rose as if nothing had happened, with only a few scratches. "I was caught off guard by being arrogant. That's why I lost one of my hearts," he spoke as if he were only talking about losing a redundant object. With a sigh of weariness, the masked man let the remains of one of his masks fall.
"It can't be! It can't be!" Clenching her fists until they bled, Mt. Lady felt a deep void of despair in her chest. She had given it her all, and even if she hadn't achieved anything, with her heart pounding and her legs trembling, the pro hero was determined not to let her efforts have been in vain.
Running towards the villain, she was determined to win.
