Chapter 12 - EIA's Arrival

A gigantic object tore through the air with horrifying speed.

Large rings of air constantly phased around it, along with flames, due to the friction.

At a distant gaze, it seemed similar to a falling meteor except this was a lot faster.

Purple energy trailed behind it, the only imprint it left behind, and quickly it arrived before a large ocean, diving headfirst into it.

The surrounding waters were immediately blown to steam from the incredible head.

The object moved quickly in the water, quickly descending on the ocean floor, and before it stood a colossal submarine quietly floating beneath the ocean.

The flames surrounding the object were soon snuffed out by the water, finally revealing the true form of the object:

It was a spaceship.

Its body was painted in a mixture of dark and red, the materials glittering.

It was no doubt an incredibly durable material as it could withstand the heat of friction of about a thousand degrees Celsius while also being able to tear through sound barriers without a single scratch.

On the spaceship itself were three large letters:

E I A

The hatch opened up, and five people dressed in dark-red battle suits stepped out, swimming towards the submarine.

Arriving, one of them stretched out both hands, which the four others quickly took, and they walked towards the submarine, strangely stepping through the metallic wall as if it didn't even exist.

Arriving within, they spread out in search, bringing out all Test Subjects, while also arresting the scientists present within.

One of the five figures appeared in a room, sighting the body of a chubby man, badly mutilated with blade stabs.

Not paying much attention to that, he turned to the boy beside him, who was lying in his own pool of blood with a communication watch just a few steps away.

"We've found his commander."

The figure said, tapping the pod in his ear.

"Then bring him to me."

The order followed, and the soldier bent, carrying Zeras off the ground, and stepping out of the half-destroyed room.

"Noted, Sir."

FLICKER

A blue light flickered as his eyes opened, the white of the ceiling welcoming him.

He felt groggy, with a headache pounding in his head, but he forced all that down, looking around him.

"Where am I?"

He muttered quietly, but soon noticed something cool around his chest as if ice was placed on him.

Turning to his chest, a snow-white hand could be seen hovering just a few inches away, and a green wave of energy emanated from the fingers.

He followed those fingers up, and what he saw made his grogginess immediately clear away, and he stood there stupefied.

Kneeling beside him and placing her hand close to his chest was a beautiful girl of about 16.

Her snow-white hair was scattered around her, spreading beneath her feet, and her emerald green eyes were knitted together in focus.

She was very beautiful with cherry red lips, the most crimson red he had ever seen.

Clad in a navel-length purple top and a knee-length skirt.

The fabrics gleamed with a purple color and were bizarre, as they seemed like beautifully arranged scales, like something too solid.

Yet he noticed it was tousling around, in the wind, making him wonder just what type of material it could have been made from.

Whatever it was, he knew it was definitely beyond what he was used to back in the orphanage.

"Oh, you're finally awake..."

Her melodious voice rang out, bringing his attention away from her clothes and back to her.

"Um.Yes.Yeah...I'm...Thank you."

He said lost for words and was also a little bit embarrassed.

To have been caught staring at her like that must have been a little disrespectful.

But who could blame him?

All the people in the orphanage home were skinny guys with large tummies, not like anymore could be expected when children were fed once a day.

Girls?

They didn't exist, save for the fat and wicked female cooks in the place and his beautiful Grandma Mia.

She quietly rose to her feet and walked out of the room without saying a word more.

The second she was out, Zeras immediately stood up, his eyes sharpening back to normal.

He at least knew he was safe, judging by what was happening, and that could only be due to one thing.

The EIA finally heeded his call.

Standing up from the bed, he looked at himself, noticing the absence of injuries.

His skin was as white as ever, and for some reason looked quite healthier than it would normally.

'Is this due to that green aura of hers?'

He stepped out the door too, arriving before a gigantic hall.

There, sitting on the sofa situated at the center, was a man with short white hair.

His eyes were on Zeras as he stepped in, and he pointed at the seat in front of him, smiling warmly.

"Please have a seat."

Zeras looked at the man suspiciously at first, but then he saw his suit, noticing the EIA badge on the right side of his chest.

His fears immediately dispersed, and he moved towards him, taking a seat opposite.

"Mind some tea?"
