Chapter 212 - Executioner Yellow Executed

When trying to help himself, Bian attempted to fuse the Regen Torch with the Solum Mirror and to his surprise, it did not work.

This affirmed something to him. He couldn't fuse any part of himself with something external.

Then he remembered how he fused the ordinary Purple Mantis with its geno core and it became the Evolved Mantis.

Its strength soared from ordinary to the peak of sacred-blood in an instant.

Due to the rules of the fourth sanctuary, a creature had to fuse with its geno core while being rebuilt through its Holy Door.

Every Holy Door was attuned to whoever summoned it, meaning any other creature that entered it would die.

After the creature which summoned the Door entered it though, it would be decomposed and rebuilt before ascending to the fifth sanctuary, better known as the alliance.

Because he could fuse a creature with its geno core, Bian could take them half a step through the process.

Why did any of this matter?

That was because Bian was about to do this very thing.

He wasn't strong enough to call on the Holy Door, but he could fuse himself with his own geno core.

He had just found that he couldn't fuse with an outside material, but a geno core counted as part of his body.

Best still was that since the Evolved Mantis still counted as an ordinary creature when slain, he could still max out his genes after the fusion. He only needed to be wary of the repulsion effect of the sanctuary.

Bian scanned the area one more time to make sure he was alone.

Executioner Yellow had left the range of the Emperical Aura, alongside Tyrant.

The stone bridge was stained red with Bian's blood. His eyelids turned droopy, yet he deactivated all his powers, beast souls and geno cores except the Super Altering Brush.

With one hand on the brush and another on his body, Bian activated the Emperical Decree.

The first thing he felt was huge resistance, he didn't have enough energy to fuse something as powerful as the Altering Brush which was a super geno core.

However, Bian was past the point of restrictions.

He pushed on, feeling all the restrictions vanish and a current leaving his body.

The last thing he saw was the life span on his interface dropping from 499.8 to 499.2 and immediately after his consciousness faded.

---

Executioner Yellow kept fleeing from the rampaging Minotaur. It was the most dreadful creature she had ever met in the sanctuaries.

Her speed on the ground was anything but slow and yet Tyrant turned out to be faster when he no longer had to worry about the stone maze.

He could cover thousands of miles in a single leap and swing his halberd hundreds of times, disfiguring the surface of the fourth sanctuary.

Of course, if it was just this much, Executioner Yellow would have escaped already. Unfortunately, she couldn't move the geno armor as fast underground.

And that was exactly what Tyrant chose to target.

Thanks to the powers of Executioner White, she soon recovered enough strength to regenerate the Geo Core.

"I can't believe it was destroyed so easily."

Ecstatic that she had her geno core back, Executioner Yellow didn't dare let it out of her sight.

The geo core sped up the speed of the geno armor and turned the very land against Tyrant.

After a mighty leap, the ground where he was supposed to land suddenly vanished. Tyrant fell into a bottomless pit.

Such a trick wasn't enough to kill Tyrant or even hinder him for long, but it provided her enough time to finally escape.

"Once I make the geno armor my own, even Red will have to fear me!"

She could already see the entire alliance under her thumb. With the power of an Executioner and a geno armor to boot, she would suppress everything and everyone.

She made a beeline towards a teleporter in an abandoned shelter.

Executioner Yellow jumped out of the ground with the geno armor in hand, she was just a couple of feet away from the teleporter.

Without warning, a bright indigo light covered her in a flash.

It wasn't just her though, both spirits and creatures all around the Fourth Sanctuary were suddenly frightened by this universal indigo light.

A spirit with skulls arranged into a bead considered the weird phenomenon with a strange look in his eyes.

Executioner Yellow couldn't be bothered about it, she took another step towards the teleporter, the shadow of her foot already over the platform.

"I wouldn't move if I were you."

Bian calmly warned her from across the room. In his hand was the Edge of Ruin, but the red gem in the center of the sword was completely grey.

A moment later, the sword shattered.

Executioner Yellow was frightened by his sudden appearance, but he was too late to stop her.

She suddenly heard him say,

"Final lacerating god killing slashes!"

Executioner Yellow lit up like a lightbulb, a red lightbulb. Every part of her body was glowing red.

"Wha-"

Bang!

She blew up, erupting in a yellow light with some parts white, some parts green and some parts blue.

The pillar went straight up, cracking the sky and leaving the sanctuaries.

"What a shame, I was hoping to kill one more Executioner today."

Bian licked his lips.

He always knew the charge of the Edge of Ruin would run out one day, but he certainly didn't expect to use it all up at once.

"That was easy. Right now, the whole fourth sanctuary is in my hands. The Executioners' days are numbered."

Bian truly was pissed off with the Executioners. They came out of nowhere and had almost killed him multiple times.

Heck, he clearly died to Executioner Blue and had his heart destroyed by Executioner Yellow.

Executioner White, the exploding madman had killed a lot of people he cared for and lastly he had to flee and keep a low profile in the alliance because of Executioner Black.

Bian waited for Tyrant to catch up and then he unsummoned him before heading back to the alliance.

Maybe because he had used his full force just now, the entire world was adamantly rejecting Bian almost to the point of pushing him out.

He had to temporarily step out to give it time to calm down.

Bian stepped out into a weird apartment. He immediately knew he wasn't in his home and expanded the Dongxuan Sense.

Although the Emperical Aura had more range, he didn't use it because it was too conspicuous and could cover entire star systems or even large distances.

"I'm in an entirely new star system. The teleporter definitely wasn't moved this far, it must have been destroyed."

Bian felt his stomach fall, he thought of his pregnant wife and anger filled his face.

The door opened to Qin Xuan walking in, looking shocked.

"What is the date?"

Bian asked her.

"Who are you?"

Qin Xuan did not answer his question, she summoned a beast soul dagger and vanished like a ghost.

The dagger was already in front of his throat. Just then a notification came in, and Bian was able to check the date.

"I was only in the room for less than a minute!"

Qin Xuan was slightly distracted by the notification, her eyes only left Bian for a brief moment and when she looked back he was gone.

"He seemed familiar."

A shiver went down her spine as Qin Xuan realised the unknown figure could have easily killed her.

Bian flew out into space. The little time he spent in that room had been turned into several months.

The teleporter was in the most secure room in his home, for it to have been destroyed, the entire house was definately no more.

"Who could it have been? The Executioners?"

He wanted to check his commlink, but he had not brought it with him into the sanctuary. Bian had to forcefully calm himself down.

"Han Yan, where are you?"

A gentle thread tugged on his chest, pulling him slightly. A weird string seemed to have pulled on his heart itself.

His body made a full recovery when he fused with the Altering Brush, so Bian knew it was impossible for him to be having problems now.

He followed the heart string, flying through deep space for three days before he finally reached a planet.

"If I had the Black Cruiser, it wouldn't have taken me this long."

With the Dongxuan Sutra, it wasn't easy to spot Bian if he was hiding. He flew into the planet and the tug led him to a hospital.

Inside the hospital, Bian went up the elevator and kept walking towards a room. He wasn't the only one looking ragged, as this was a common occurrence due to the sanctuaries, no one blocked his path.

He suddenly heard a sharp female scream and the sound of bone cracking.
